1. Adding Music
Adding music to the opening sequence was difficult, because I wanted to find something
creepy, yet I did not want it to be too dramatic, as the sequence would need to have a sense
of tension throughout and it is hard to get that amount of tension to match with music.
I was searching creepy instrumentals on YouTube, as I wanted a sense of creepiness rather
than being completely scared, so it seems strange twisted. I also did not want any words to
appear in the opening sequence so that it doesn’t draw attention away from what the
audience are viewing.
I came across a video called ‘ “come out and play” creepy music box royalty free music’.
When listening to this I thought that it would really suit my opening sequence. So I was
lucky that the creator of it doesn’t mind it being used as long as credit is given. So for the
credits this means that we will use his name.
