5. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
The microphone that’s booked might not work
when trying to record the podcast.
book multiple microphones in case one of
them doesn't’t work , this way you have
multiple microphones in case.
the recording software might not record
correctly and sound bad on audio listening back
to it.
re record the podcast and test to make sure the
equipment works at the beginning.
after checking and recording again he podcast
it still has bad audio and is bad quality when
looking back on it.
check the audio recording device and see if
there's a problem that you can fix if not get help
from a technicians.
spilling water all over the equipment causing it
to ruin the equipment and the podcast while its
in recording.
don’t bring water or any liquid into the the
recording studio to prevent safety hazards while
recording.
falling off the chair while recording and hurting
yourself and making an error in the podcast and
ruining the podcast.
make sure that I am sat on the chair correctly
the entire time while recording so that the
podcast remains professional.
the system crashing during the podcast and
losing all of the saved work which would cause
problems.
make sure that the work is saved quickly during
podcast if not then re do the podcast and make
sure its save that time.
6. Health and Safety

falling off the chair during the recording or
editing the podcast on the computer which
could create injury.
making sure that I am sat on the chair correctly
and not swinging back o it to make sure that I
do not fall of it.
spilling liquid over the mac computers causing
it to break and possibly electrocute me while
I'm working.
not bringing any liquid near the computer to
make sure that no liquid falls on it or goes near
it.
tripping over on wires while recording the
podcast in the studio room when walking and
moving about.
watch where the wires are as I walk and look
out for where step make sure that the wires are
covered up.
touching the plug sockets near the computer or
any plug sockets in general which can cause
electric shocks.
stay away from plug sockets the best that I can
and if I need to then be careful with what I'm
doing around them.
having a computer tip over and smash for
example an apple mac that could fall and smash
would shatter with possible bits hitting you.
try not to move the apple macs about and
make sure that if I need to move them I'm
careful they don’t fall.
not sitting on the chair correctly which can hurt
and cause pain on the back when not sat
correct and slouching.
make sure to always being sat correctly on the
chair asking sure that I do not hurt my bag or
put it through pain.
