Analysis and Detection of Image Forgery Methodologiesijsrd.com
"Forgery" is a subjective word. An image can become a forgery based upon the context in which it is used. An image altered for fun or someone who has taken a bad photo, but has been altered to improve its appearance cannot be considered a forgery even though it has been altered from its original capture. The other side of forgery are those who perpetuate a forgery for gain and prestige. They create an image in which to dupe the recipient into believing the image is real and from this they are able to gain payment and fame. Detecting these types of forgeries has become serious problem at present. To determine whether a digital image is original or doctored is a big challenge. To find the marks of tampering in a digital image is a challenging task. Now these marks of tampering can be done by various operations such as rotation, scaling, JPEG compression, Gaussian noise etc. called as attacks. There are various methods proposed in this field in recent years to detect above mentioned attacks. This paper provides a detailed analysis of different approaches and methodologies used to detect image forgery. It is also analysed that block-based features methods are robust to Gaussian noise and JPEG compression and the key point-based feature methods are robust to rotation and scaling.

ABSTRACT- Digital images can be easily modified using powerful image editing software. Determining whether a manipulation is innocent of sharpening from those which are malicious, such as removing or adding parts to an image is the topic of this paper. In this paper we focus on detection of a special type of forgery-the Copy-Move forgery, in this part of the original image is copied moved to desired location in the same image and pasted. The proposed method compress images using DWT (discrete wavelet transform) and divided into blocks and choose blocks than perform feature vector calculation and lexicographical sorting and duplicated blocks are identified after sorting. This method is good at some manipulation/attack likes scaling, rotation, Gaussian noise, smoothing, JPEG compression etc.

Denoising Process Based on Arbitrarily Shaped WindowsCSCJournals
Many factors, such as moving objects, introduce noise in digital images. The presence of noise affects image quality. The image denoising process works on reconstructing a noiseless image and improving its quality. When an image has an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) then denoising becomes a challenging process. In our research, we present an improved algorithm for image denoising in the wavelet domain. Homogenous regions for an input image are estimated using a region merging algorithm. The local variance and wavelet shrinkage algorithm are applied to denoise each image patch. Experimental results based on peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) measurements showed that our algorithm provided better results compared with a denoising algorithm based on a minimum mean square error (MMSE) estimator.

Internet data almost double every year. The need of multimedia communication
is less storage space and fast transmission. So, the large volume of video data has become
the reason for video compression. The aim of this paper is to achieve temporal compression
for three-dimensional (3D) videos using motion estimation-compensation and wavelets.
Instead of performing a two-dimensional (2D) motion search, as is common in conventional
video codec’s, the use of a 3D motion search has been proposed, that is able to better exploit
the temporal correlations of 3D content. This leads to more accurate motion prediction and
a smaller residual. The discrete wavelet transform (DWT) compression scheme has been
added for better compression ratio. The DWT has a high-energy compaction property thus
greatly impacted the field of compression. The quality parameters peak signal to noise ratio
(PSNR) and mean square error (MSE) have been calculated. The simulation results shows
that the proposed work improves the PSNR from existing work.

Frequency Domain Blockiness and Blurriness Meter for Image Quality AssessmentCSCJournals
Image and video compression introduces distortions (artefacts) to the coded image. The most prominent artefacts added are blockiness and blurriness. Many existing quality meters are normally distortion-specific. This paper proposes an objective quality meter for quantifying the combined blockiness and blurriness distortions in frequency domain. The model first applies edge detection and cancellation, then spatial masking to mimic the characteristics of the human visual system. Blockiness is then estimated by transforming image into frequency domain, followed by finding the ratio of harmonics to other AC components. Blurriness is determined by comparing the high frequency coefficients of the reference and coded images due to the fact that blurriness reduces the high frequency coefficients. Then, both blockiness and blurriness distortions are combined for a single quality metric. The meter is tested on blocky and blurred images from the LIVE image database, with a correlation coefficient of 95-96%.

A Review on Various Forgery Detection Techniquesijtsrd
Nowadays, there barely exists any platform where digital images are not used. They are used in almost every field, namely digital media, electronic media, military, law, industry, forensics, and so on, and all over the internet. With such vast numbers of images, the importance of their authenticity has increased enormously .We give much importance to what we see on daily basis in newspapers, on the covers of magazines, social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and many more. Digital image manipulation is the act of distorting the contents of an image in order to fulfil some fraudulent purposes, such manipulations are known as forgeries. There exist various cases of image forgeries in history which caused clutter and affected people organizations. Earlier photographers were habituated with using the process of photomontage, in which composites of images were created by pasting, gluing to get the final print. However, due to evolution of technology, various tools have been developed by researchers and made available over the internet. Aarushi Thusu | Mr. B. AHP validated literature review of forgery type dependent passive image forge...IJECEIAES
Nowadays, a lot of significance is given to what we read today: newspapers, magazines, news channels, and internet media, such as leading social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. These are the primary wellsprings of phony news and are frequently utilized in malignant manners, for example, for horde incitement. In the recent decade, a tremendous increase in image information generation is happening due to the massive use of social networking services. Various image editing software like Skylum Luminar, Corel PaintShop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and many others are used to create, modify the images and videos, are significant concerns. A lot of earlier work of forgery detection was focused on traditional methods to solve the forgery detection. Recently, Deep learning algorithms have accomplished high-performance accuracies in the image processing domain, such as image classification and face recognition. Experts have applied deep learning techniques to detect a forgery in the image too. However, there is a real need to explain why the image is categorized under forged to understand the algorithm’s validity; this explanation helps in mission-critical applications like forensic. Explainable AI (XAI) algorithms have been used to interpret a black box’s decision in various cases. This paper contributes a survey on image forgery detection with deep learning approaches. It also focuses on the survey of explainable AI for images.
Novel framework for optimized digital forensic for mitigating complex image ...IJECEIAES
Digital Image Forensic is significantly becoming popular owing to the increasing usage of the images as a media of information propagation. However, owing to the presence of various image editing tools and software, there is also an increasing threat to image content security. Reviewing the existing approaches to identify the traces or artifacts states that there is a large scope of optimization to be implemented to enhance the processing further. Therefore, this paper presents a novel framework that performs cost-effective optimization of digital forensic technique with an idea of accurately localizing the area of tampering as well as offers a capability to mitigate the attacks of various forms. The study outcome shows that the proposed system offers better outcomes in contrast to the existing system to a significant scale to prove that minor novelty in design attributes could induce better improvement with respect to accuracy as well as resilience toward all potential image threats.
Frequency based edge-texture feature using Otsu’s based enhanced local ternar...journalBEEI
Sharing information through images is a trend nowadays. Advancements in the technology and user-friendly image editing tool make easy to edit the image and spread fake news through different social networking platforms. Forged image has been generated through an advanced image editing tool, so it is very challenging for image forensics to detect the micro discrepancy which distorted the micro pattern. This paper proposes an image forensic detection technique, which implies multi-level discrete wavelet transform to implement digital image filtering. Canny edge detection technique is implemented to detect the edge of the image to implement Otsu’s based enhanced local ternary pattern (OELTP), which can detect forgery-related artifact. DWT is implemented over Cb and Cr components of the image and using edge texture to improve the Otsu global threshold, which is used to extract features using ELTP technique. Support vector machine (SVM) is used for classification to find the image is forged or not. The performance of the work evaluated on three different open available data sets CASIA v1, CASIA v2, and Columbia. Our proposed work gives better results with some of the previous states of the work in terms of detection accuracy.
Reviewing the Effectivity Factor in Existing Techniques of Image Forensics IJECEIAES
Studies towards image forensics are about a decade old and various forms of research techniques have been presented till date towards image forgery detection. Majority of the existing techniques deals with identification of tampered regions using different forms of research methodologies. However, it is still an open-end question about the effectiveness of existing image forgery detection techniques as there is no reported benchmarked outcome till date about it. Therefore, the present manuscript discusses about the most frequently addressed image attacks e.g. image splicing and copy-move attack and elaborates the existing techniques presented by research community to resist it. The paper also contributes to explore the direction of present research trend with respect to tool adoption, database adoption, and technique adoption, and frequently used attack scenario. Finally, significant open research gap are explored after reviewing effectiveness of existing techniques.
COVID-19 digital x-rays forgery classification model using deep learningIAESIJAI
Nowadays, the internet has become a typical medium for sharing digital images through web applications or social media and there was a rise in concerns about digital image privacy. Image editing software’s have prepared it incredibly simple to make changes to an image's content without leaving any visible evidence for images in general and medical images in particular. In this paper, the COVID-19 digital x-rays forgery classification model utilizing deep learning will be introduced. The proposed system will be able to identify and classify image forgery (copy-move and splicing) manipulation. Alexnet, Resnet50, and Googlenet are used in this model for feature extraction and classification, respectively. Images have been tampered with in three classes (COVID-19, viral pneumonia, and normal). For the classification of (Forgery or no forgery), the model achieves 0.9472 in testing accuracy. For the classification of (Copy-move forgery, splicing forgery, and no forgery), the model achieves 0.8066 in testing accuracy. Moreover, the model achieves 0.796 and 0.8382 for 6 classes and 9 classes problems respectively. Performance indicators like Recall, Precision, and F1 Score supported the achieved results and proved that the proposed system is efficient for detecting the manipulation in images.
A New Copy Move Forgery Detection Technique using Adaptive Over-segementation...journalBEEI
With the development of Image processing editing tools and software, an image can be easily manipulated. The image manipulation detection is vital for the reason that an image can be used as legal evidence, in the field of forensics investigations, and also in numerous various other fields. The image forgery detection based on pixels aims to validate the digital image authenticity with no aforementioned information of the main image. There are several means intended for tampering a digital image, for example, copy-move or splicing, resampling a digital image (stretch, rotate, resize), removal as well as the addition of an object from your image. Copy move image forgery detection is utilized to figure out the replicated regions as well as the pasted parts, however forgery detection may possibly vary dependant on whether or not there is virtually any post-processing on the replicated part before inserting the item completely to another party. Typically, forgers utilize many operations like rotation, filtering, JPEG compression, resizing as well as the addition of noise to the main image before pasting, that make this thing challenging to recognize the copy move image forgery. Hence, forgery detector needs to be robust to any or all manipulations and also the latest editing software tools. This research paper illustrates recent issues in the techniques of forgery detection and proposes a advanced copy–move forgery detection scheme using adaptive over-segmentation and feature point matching. The proposed scheme integrates both block-based and key point-based forgery detection methods.

Since ages gender difference is always a debatable theme whether caused by nature, evolution or environment. The birth of a transgender is dreadful not only for the child but also for their parents. The pain of living in the wrong physique and treated as second class victimized citizen is outrageous and fully harboured with vicious baseless negative scruples. For so long, social exclusion had perpetuated inequality and deprivation experiencing ingrained malign stigma and besieged victims of crime or violence across their life spans. They are pushed into the murky way of life with a source of eternal disgust, bereft sexual potency and perennial fear. Although they are highly visible but very little is known about them. The common public needs to comprehend the ravaged arrogance on these insensitive souls and assist in integrating them into the mainstream by offering equal opportunity, treat with humanity and respect their dignity. Entrepreneurship in the current age is endorsing the gender fairness movement. Unstable careers and economic inadequacy had inclined one of the gender variant people called Transgender to become entrepreneurs. These tiny budding entrepreneurs resulted in economic transition by means of employment, free from the clutches of stereotype jobs, raised standard of living and handful of financial empowerment. Besides all these inhibitions, they were able to witness a platform for skill set development that ignited them to enter into entrepreneurial domain. This paper epitomizes skill sets involved in trans-entrepreneurs of Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation of Tamil Nadu State and is a groundbreaking determination to sightsee various skills incorporated and the impact on entrepreneurship.

Living in 21st century in itself reminds all of us the necessity of police and its administration. As more and more we are entering into the modern society and culture, the more we require the services of the so called ‘Khaki Worthy’ men i.e., the police personnel. Whether we talk of Indian police or the other nation’s police, they all have the same recognition as they have in India. But as already mentioned, their services and requirements are different after the like 26th November, 2008 incidents, where they without saving their own lives has sacrificed themselves without any hitch and without caring about their respective family members and wards. In other words, they are like our heroes and mentors who can guide us from the darkness of fear, militancy, corruption and other dark sides of life and so on. Now the question arises, if Gandhi would have been alive today, what would have been his reaction/opinion to the police and its functioning? Would he have some thing different in his mind now what he had been in his mind before the partition or would he be going to start some Satyagraha in the form of some improvement in the functioning of the police administration? Really these questions or rather night mares can come to any one’s mind, when there is too much confusion is prevailing in our minds, when there is too much corruption in the society and when the polices working is also in the questioning because of one or the other case throughout the India. It is matter of great concern that we have to thing over our administration and our practical approach because the police personals are also like us, they are part and parcel of our society and among one of us, so why we all are pin pointing towards them.

Banking regulations act of India, 1949 defines banking as “acceptance of deposits for the purpose of lending or investment from the public, repayment on demand or otherwise and withdrawable through cheques, drafts order or otherwise”, the major participants of the Indian financial system are commercial banks, the financial institution encompassing term lending institutions. Investments institutions, specialized financial institution and the state level development banks, non banking financial companies (NBFC) and other market intermediaries such has the stock brokers and money lenders are among the oldest of the certain variants of NBFC and the oldest market participants. The asset quality of banks is one of the most important indicators of their financial health. The Indian banking sector has been facing severe problems of increasing Non- Performing Assets (NPAs). The NPAs growth directly and indirectly affects the quality of assets and profitability of banks. It also shows the efficiency of banks credit risk management and the recovery effectiveness. NPA do not generate any income, whereas, the bank is required to make provisions for such as assets that why is a double edge weapon. This paper outlines the concept of quality of bank loans of different types like Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of selected public and private sector banks. This study is highlighting problems associated with the role of commercial bank in financing Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME). The overall objective of the research was to assess the effect of the financing provisions existing for the setting up and operations of MSMEs in the country and to generate recommendations for more robust financing mechanisms for successful operation of the MSMEs, in turn understanding the impact of MSME loans on financial institutions due to NPA. ROLE OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT OF INDIA - PROBLEMS AND ...IAEME Publication
The majority of the population in India lives in villages. The village is the back bone of the country. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Developing the rural economy is one of the key indicators towards a country’s success. Whether it be the need to look after the welfare of the farmers or invest in rural infrastructure, Governments have to ensure that rural development isn’t compromised. The economic development of our country largely depends on the progress of rural areas and the standard of living of rural masses. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Rural entrepreneurship is based on stimulating local entrepreneurial talent and the subsequent growth of indigenous enterprises. It recognizes opportunity in the rural areas and accelerates a unique blend of resources either inside or outside of agriculture. Rural entrepreneurship brings an economic value to the rural sector by creating new methods of production, new markets, new products and generate employment opportunities thereby ensuring continuous rural development. Social Entrepreneurship has the direct and primary objective of serving the society along with the earning profits. So, social entrepreneurship is different from the economic entrepreneurship as its basic objective is not to earn profits but for providing innovative solutions to meet the society needs which are not taken care by majority of the entrepreneurs as they are in the business for profit making as a sole objective. So, the Social Entrepreneurs have the huge growth potential particularly in the developing countries like India where we have huge societal disparities in terms of the financial positions of the population. Still 22 percent of the Indian population is below the poverty line and also there is disparity among the rural & urban population in terms of families living under BPL. 25.7 percent of the rural population & 13.7 percent of the urban population is under BPL which clearly shows the disparity of the poor people in the rural and urban areas. The need to develop social entrepreneurship in agriculture is dictated by a large number of social problems. Such problems include low living standards, unemployment, and social tension. The reasons that led to the emergence of the practice of social entrepreneurship are the above factors. The research problem lays upon disclosing the importance of role of social entrepreneurship in rural development of India. The paper the tendencies of social entrepreneurship in India, to present successful examples of such business for providing recommendations how to improve situation in rural areas in terms of social entrepreneurship development. Indian government has made some steps towards development of social enterprises, social entrepreneurship, and social in- novation, but a lot remains to be improved.
OPTIMAL RECONFIGURATION OF POWER DISTRIBUTION RADIAL NETWORK USING HYBRID MET...IAEME Publication
Distribution system is a critical link between the electric power distributor and the consumers. Most of the distribution networks commonly used by the electric utility is the radial distribution network. However in this type of network, it has technical issues such as enormous power losses which affect the quality of the supply. Nowadays, the introduction of Distributed Generation (DG) units in the system help improve and support the voltage profile of the network as well as the performance of the system components through power loss mitigation. In this study network reconfiguration was done using two meta-heuristic algorithms Particle Swarm Optimization and Gravitational Search Algorithm (PSO-GSA) to enhance power quality and voltage profile in the system when simultaneously applied with the DG units. Backward/Forward Sweep Method was used in the load flow analysis and simulated using the MATLAB program. Five cases were considered in the Reconfiguration based on the contribution of DG units. The proposed method was tested using IEEE 33 bus system. Based on the results, there was a voltage profile improvement in the system from 0.9038 p.u. to 0.9594 p.u.. The integration of DG in the network also reduced power losses from 210.98 kW to 69.3963 kW. Simulated results are drawn to show the performance of each case.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
