Please join us again! A take-home version of our holiday service schedule can be found at the Welcome Center.
JESUS LOVES CHILDREN – The nursery and Sunday School are ready for your children today. Sunday School
children will be dismissed after the Children‟s lesson; the nursery is located in the basement (take the elevator to „LL‟)
and is available during the 9:15 am service. NOTE: No Sunday School or nursery next week!!
SWINE FLU CLINIC – Please read today‟s bulletin insert. FREE H1N1 flu vaccinations will be provided on Tuesday,
December 22 in the Our Saviour gym from 10am until noon by the Brown County Health Department. There will be no
charge for the vaccination and the GENERAL PUBLIC is invited. Call the Health Department with questions: 448-6400.
PORTALS OF PRAYER – The January-March issue of Portals of Prayer is now available on the counter in the Narthex.
KEEP IT UP – The food bins are getting full but don‟t stop now. We are still putting on the Christmas holiday push for
non-perishable foods for those less fortunate. All donations are brought to Manna for Life for distribution to area needy.
Please bring at least one item for each family member this month to the collection barrels in the office hallway.
HOMELESS MINISTRY UPDATE – The number of residents being served at St John's Homeless Shelter is now 55
(up from 40) and they are licensed to house no more than 60. On Tuesday, December 29th, we will be serving a Chicken
Casserole, Orange Jell-O Salad, and Angel Food Cake with Rice Krispies Bars. Members wishing to make a financial
donation may do so by writing their name on the front of a plain envelope, including their church envelope number and
the wording “Homeless Shelter Meals." These donations will be used to purchase future food items as well as serving
items (paper plates, cups, forks, knives, spoons, etc.). WE ALSO NEED empty gallon and 5-quart ice cream pails to
deliver soup to the Shelter; please drop off at the office or the kitchen.
2. YOUTH NIGHT – Since there is no Confirmation Class for two weeks, there will be NO Youth Night during that time.
Make sure the first one of 2010 is on your calendar…it‟s January 6!
REPORTS STILL AVAILABLE – Couldn‟t get to the Voter‟s Meeting? The State of the Parish report, along with the
2010 proposed budget and the November income statement, are available at the Welcome Center.

cards ordered today will come in the next couple of weeks.
TRINITY CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS SERVICE – Everyone is invited to come and listen to the angelic and

NEWLHS NEWS – A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that attended, donated, volunteered and helped the "Blazin in the

like to help us in anyway, please watch for upcoming meetings starting sometime in February. The MUSIC
DEPARTMENT is selling soy candles for $13 each. These make excellent Christmas gifts. Contact Mrs. Fosheim for
more details. Thanks for your support!
NEWLHS HAS NEW ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES FOR 2010-11 – There are new procedures for the upcoming
school year that are important to review before the deadlines approach. For more information on the new timeline for the
coming school year, please contact the school office at 469-6810. Don't forget to refer your friends to NEWLHS, too.
The Referral program can be financially rewarding to your family if new students are sent to us by you.
DOWN FOR THE HOLIDAYS? – The holidays and winter months can be a difficult time for some. Depression sets in,
making life as bleak as the weather outside. There is a place that can help, where Christian caring makes the difference.
With offices around the State of Wisconsin, Lutheran Counseling and Family Services takes depression very seriously.
Please let us help you. Call 800-291-4513 to find the office nearest you.
