- 2. Existing Product This location is based on a stage from where Coldplay played. The angle is quite low to show off his stance whilst singing. As you can see there is a lot of post production including all the words that are popping out to try and get all your attention to at least pick up or buy this magazine. The lighting is quite weird on this magazine as all the light is shining on the Coldplay singer and also you can see where the light What I can see when I first took a glance is the big Coldplay word that draws me straight in and also the singer in the background also gets me intrigued into what their tour is like. The main prop is the microphone as if you didn’t have that then no one would hear you and you would probably look a bit weird singing into a microphone that you cant hear. The fonts are weird as most of them are 2d but the one that is very easy to see is 3d and it is like that to try and get you to look inside to see what they have
- 3. Existing Product The location of this photo is unknown as I'm guessing its all taken in a proper photography studio. The angle is at a medium shot with the guy in the middle looking slightly down towards the camera lens. The effects of the camera are quite noticeable with him obviously being in black and white and having no background kind of suits the magazine cover. In the mise en scene you can see that the main thing that draws you in immediately is the main title and also the face of the singer. The colours are quite bright as you can see there is a good range of colours going through the cover of this magazine as the background is black and white and the colours at the front of the magazine range from red to green with a couple of colours inbetween. The fonts also change throughout this magazine cover as its showing off both a couple of quotes and whats also in this magazine. I can see why people would like to buy this as its got some good bonuses and also some new collectors items.
- 4. Existing Product The angle is at a mid shot as it shows off the majority of Nicki Minaj. The effects of the camera are quite vivid as there is quite a lot of colours and textures coming off of her clothing and also her face. In post production im guessing they were trying to use her body outline as the main piece of the pages and also try to get the text to wrap around it. Majority of the lighting is facing towards her face and hand to show off the word “icon” that is on her hand. What I can see when I first look at this double page spread is the word icon and also the rather big text that saids “nicki minaj” and due to this it kind of gets me hooked into what it might speak about. The main props that they use is the word icon which im guessing is a ring. The fonts change throughout this double page spread to show off the title and also what its talking about as well as a couple of quotes from nicki minaj herself.
