Immediate Media Distribution for New Music Magazine

product and why?
2. When researching existing music
magazines I discovered the different institutions such
as Immediate Media Company who publish Top of
the Pops, Bauer Media Group (Q, Kerrang,
etc), DMC Publishing (Mixmag) and many more.
3. Immediate Media Company have magazines for
all age ranges and different topics such as
entertainment, food, history, etc. Their strategic
focus is to build around the things their
consumers care about and what they want
to spend their leisure time and money on.
They are the distributer of Top of the Pops which
is a pre- teen music magazine and also have a
magazine called Girl Talk which is a magazine
for children. I think they would be good
to distribute my magazine as it is targeted
at older teens and early 20s. They have a
range of magazines catering for children, pre-
teens and mothers. The only age range missing
is older teens and early 20s, which is why I
belive they would be perfect to distribute my
magazine.
4. Immediate Media Company is distributed by the
BBC (British Broadcasting Company) which is a
well known name all over the UK for
its popular TV channels and radio stations. By
having such a well known name the audience will
be intrigued as its reliable and has a variation of
different media distributions (magazines, Tv
programmes, radio channels, etc).
When doing my research I shared a survey on my
Facebook page, one of the questions was
whether they prefer an online magazine or the
physical copy. Most replied with the physical copy
but I would like my magazine to be available to
purchase online as well as it would be easier to
get a hold of. This way getting the most readers
as possible.
