- 2. Personal project Mind map of ideas Magazine I could design my own music magazine, including the latest news in the music media, pictures of top artists and much more. I can decide on a target audience and then design the layout of the magazine based around that, choosing specific colors, fonts and what is in the magazine. Sport brand I could design my own skate or BMX brand designing a logo, name and slogan. I can then also design my own t- shirt designs and posters to promote the brand, designing them based around my target audience and what they look for in a product. Band I could create my own band creating cd covers, posters and t- shirts. Designing my own album list and name also creating small segments of songs to print on to he t-shirts .

Ill design my own logo for the magazine, making it eye-catching and appealing. I would like to include articles on various bands and artists. I hope to include a page based on recommended albums or solos. I want the name of the magazine and logo covering the top of the magazine, making it large and over exaggerated. i would like the design an style of the magazine to be different too magazines such as the kerrang or vibe making it unique. - 5. Mood Board Analysis Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood Yes there are several signs of repetition especially in the styles and moods, this is because I hope to centre the magazine on a punk/grunge theme. Also there's a slight repetition in the colours I've used because id like too keep it simple but still eye- catching with a brighter colour layered on top of a darker colour. How will your mood board influence your final product? It helps see what styles, colours, fonts and moods I think look appealing when all placed onto one page and how they can all be mixed into one final design.

Informal Proposal Current Idea Concept I am designing my own punk/grunge music magazine including information on top bands in the genres and what music I think my audience will like, I will also include a main story surrounding one band or artist and will also include images that suit it. Type of products you would make • I am going to make several parts of the magazine including the cover page, the table of contents, a double page spread on one main article, two pages based on music and albums and the last page. What you will need to make them I will be using Photoshop too design the main cover and the design of the pages, pictures too fill in pages and keep people engaged, word too write up the articles. Audience My target audience are mainly starting from young adults at 16 ranging up too the age of 25

Choices Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this project Sport brand (designing t-shirts, logos and merchandise) • I did not choose this project because I do not have a very wide knowledge in sport. • Also I don’t believe that would have been hard too finish fast. Band (CD Covers, Posters and t-shirts) • I did not choose this because I am far more interested in the writing side as well as the designing side of music and the magazine allows me too write a article.
