2. Process
I was asked to create an experiment for a game based on ghosts, I decided to
make my own version of space raiders but instead of aliens, I made ghosts. To start
the game the first thing I did was design my ghost on a new layer using the pencil
tool.
3. Process
• After I had finished designing my ghost I then designed the ship using the pencil
tool again, only this time I used the stroke effect so the ship will stand out more
with a thicker outline.
4. Process
• Then using the duplicate tool I made several copies of my ghost and merged the
layers, after that reduplicated the row of ghosts to match the space raiders layout.
5. Process
• To finish the designing of the game I made the bullets for the ship and the things
the ghosts shoot back, I just used the pencil tool.
6. Animation process
• I made a frame animation in the timeline so the game works, the steps I took too
make this were…
• I had too make 11 layers of the page
• On each layer I had too move the ghosts left and right so it looked as if they were
moving
• With the ship I moved him slightly too the right each time so it was as if it was
moving
• I moved the bullets of the ghost down each time and the ships up each time
• On the last layers I had too make changes, the first change was deleting a ghost
and using the line shape made a mark where he had popped, I also had too delete
the ships bullet so it looked like he had killed the ship.
• On each layer I made the time gap 0.2 seconds this is so it moved a a fast pace and
did not look like it kept freezing.
7. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• Refer to the brief: Ghost Game
