Major Psychological Complications Of Abortion
Most women do not realize that the abortion procedure is going to affect them afterwards. At
especially high risk are teenagers, separated or divorced women, and women with a history of more
than one abortion ( Abortion Risk: A list of major psychological complications related to abortion ).
Women who have had abortions are significantly more likely than others to subsequently require
admission to a psychiatric hospital ( Abortion Risk: A list of major psychological complications
related to abortion ). Some side effects of abortion are: regret, anger, guilt, shame, sense of loneliness
or isolation, loss of self confidence, insomnia, relationship issues, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders,
depression, and anxiety ( Abortion Emotional Side Effects ).

Wax-Moth Larvae Research Paper
Wax moth larvae is a species of caterpillar which has a surprising ability: to degrade plastic waste!
One hundred of these worms can degrade ninety two milligrams of polyethylene, which is the hardest
to degrade plastic, as well as the most common. Wax moth larvae, also known as Galleria mellonella
will be a valuable research topic in the coming years. Additionally, these organisms come with a
plethora of information on how plastic can finally be properly disposed of. How scientists discovered
the abilities of the wax moth larvae is actually quite comical. Spanish researcher and beekeeper
Federica Bertocchini put several wax moth larvae into a plastic bag after removing them from one of
her hives. When she went to retrieve them, she discovered

A Yellow Raft in Blue Water by Michael Dorris
While growing up Michael Dorris never encountered a Native American literary character that he
could relate too, and being of Modoc Tribe of California descent, this was something that was very
important to him. After graduating from Georgetown University, and earning a Master s Degree at
Yale, Dorris began to create these characters and ideas that he had longed for himself during
childhood. He married his literary partner, Louise Erdrich, who was also of Native American descent.
They had three children together, plus the three that Dorris had adopted, all of which were born on
Native American reservations. All three of his adopted children suffered from fetal alcohol syndrome.
During a twenty year period before Dorris death, he published fourteen books and over one hundred
articles. In 1987 he published his first novel A Yellow Raft in Blue Water. A Yellow Raft in Blue Water
is divided into three sections narrated by three different Native American women: Rayona, Christine
and Ida. All three of these women are all related. Rayona is the daughter of Christine, and Christine
believes she is the daughter of Ida, but Ida is actually her half sister and cousin. All three sections were
a part of a larger story; they all helped support or complete each other. The structure of this novel
forces us as readers to be more active. It causes us to look more closely, and fit together the stories of
the three women. When the ladies are explaining the same event, it sometimes feels

PAD 622 Science, Technology and Government
The conception of transparency seems to be everywhere in todays time, from the products we
consume as buying customers to the governments we look to in leading our nations. Social media is
another refuge for transparency. With millions of people noticing, it s difficult for any organization or
individual to say one thing and do another. Supporters of the transparency movement say that it is a
very good thing; after all, transparency is serving to keep people honest and up front about the
products and services they sell to consumers.
Many may ask the question, why is transparency so important to people. Maybe its because some
people place such a high value on transparency because it can help to cause change on different levels.
Changes can occur within a corporation or government, which can change the way it the government
functions. Transparency can also create a change in the way government and companies relate to the
public. And, it can result in groups being able to participate in lawmaking that may not have had that
opportunity beforehand. It could be that people are witnessing a new world transformation. ... Show

From some sort of understanding, when a nation discloses information that would be knowledge for
its citizen s, that nation is often hailed for its commitment to being honest with its public. As a result,
that county can errand large amount of revenue. There is no doubt that being transparent can have
many economic advantages to the government. Being transparent is having the understanding of being
honesty about disapproval by the public, and can create a greater trust between nations leaders and the
citizens. Being transparent about them can also reduce government

Ben Carson Honesty
In Gifted Hands, Ben Carson, has strived for success and has tried to teach others to also with think
big which he said is a philosophy for success in life, the letters spell out how he strives for success in
his life, but their is three statements that he has made that have really stuck out to me honesty, god, and
talent. Honesty plays a big roll in careers and just life in general, for example when Ben was only
supposed to get a one dollar bill back but the store clerk accidentally gave him a ten dollar bill Ben
had to be truthful and tell her instead of taking the money for himself. Honesty helps Ben in so many
ways but it will also help you because honesty is the key to a easy life and well lying just doesn t get
you anywhere. God was a big part of Ben s journey of becoming a neurosurgeon, you can tell to
because Ben prayed a lot, for example Ben prayed, Lord I need your help! I ve always thought you
wanted me to be a doctor if I fail this class. Please either let me know what else I ought to do or
perform a miracle and help me pass this exam (54). Ben Carson, is showing that it is okay to have an
anchor to lean on, because I know especially that God is my anchor and he has helped me walk
through a great life with my head up high, and I know that everyone should have a anchor to lean on.

a while to find his talent but everyone out there whether it s sports, science etc has a talent, and that

Relation Between Stock Returns And Economic Growth
Many investors when making a decision regarding investing in a other country take into account
certain factors which may play a very important role or may affect their future returns. Standard
economics theory suggests that over the long run, profits or returns should rise in line with the
economy/ economic growth, which is also the view point of many investors when making a decision.
Although the long run research and studies conducted by different economists gives a very different
picture of the relationship between stock returns and economic growth, but very little empirical
evidences to support the view with. Many economists and researchers supported the view that, stock
returns and economic growth does not have a positive ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Jay.R Ritter in his research said that the main reason for a negative correlation between the two
factors, according to him during high growth rate periods markets usually assign a high price/Earning
and price to dividend multiples and which then lowers the realized returns because now more capital
is required from the investors to in order to receive the same level of earning s and dividends from
stocks.
From all these studies and empirical evidence it can be concluded that stock returns and economic
growth are not related but have a negative correlation.
Ho= no correlation between economic growth and stock return.
H1= there is a relation between economic growth and stock returns
On the other hand the results for interest rates give the same type of results. The basic classical
economics model suggests that there is a relationship between interest rates and economic growth.
Usually reduction in the interest rates cause the level of growth to increase, this is because a reduction
in interest rates makes borrowing more cheaper and encourages in investment in the economy, which
eventually increases the growth rate. However, an increase in interest rates has an opposite effect on
economic growth. According to (Suntum, 2008) high interest rated discourage investment as it s more
tempting to rather save the money and earn a decent interest rate, thus making the aggregate demand
to fall which then badly affects the economic growth of

Soccer Vs Soccer Essay
Two of the most popular sports worldwide have drastically different followings depending on the
country. Even though people say soccer is more popular, there is no real debate on why Football is
king. Both sports have changed cultures and impacted citizens, but which one is ultimately better? The
first football game was played about 150 years ago, and has grown to one of the largest followings in
the United States. American people have grown up in a society that is swarmed in a Footballistic
Culture. During the fall season all talks and conversations are about how good the Patriots are doing
or who has the best fantasy team, but by now this seems normal. To an average American boy this is
nothing unnatural to hear about on a daily basis, and for even some they dread the talks of Football.
However there are a select few that eat, breathe, and live football. Everything they do revolves around
decisions their head coaches make and their lifestyles are compromised by star player decisions.
Nevertheless Football has numerous aspects which make it superior to soccer. The First reason is the
specialization of Offense and Defense, which allows players to devote their entire career to one side of
the ball. This allows a player who feels strongly about a position to master all aspects of it and to
become the best at it. If a player is all about destroying the offensive line and being disruptive as
possible, then the defensive line is the perfect match up. Forcing players

Catholic And Wicca Similarities
Catholicism and Wicca
Catholics and Wiccans could not be further from each other. Catholicism is used to refer specifically
to the Roman Catholics which is one if not the most dominant religion in the world. Wicca is also well
known and followed by many though not in the same scale. Their views and beliefs are very different
and in this paper each religion will be compared side by side along with my personal thoughts. The
pattern of the belief system, the community, the central myths, rituals, ethical systems, emotional
experiences, material expressions of religion and sacredness will be looked at as well.

Prokaryotic And Eukaryotic Cells Similarities
Cells are the basic unit of all living things. The two most important types of cells are prokaryotic and
eukaryotic cells. These two types of cells differ in many ways, but they also share similarities. One
thing prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells have in common is that they both contain a plasma membrane
and cytoplasm. Another similarity between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells is that they contain
ribosomes.
Prokaryotic cells are usually single celled organisms much small than eukaryotic cells. Bacteria and
archaea are prokaryotes. Prokaryotic cells have no nucleus and no membrane bound organelles.
Prokaryotic cells also do not have chloroplasts or mitochondria. The main difference of prokaryotic
cells from eukaryotic cells is that prokaryotic cells lack a nucleus. Since prokaryotes lack a nucleus
the majority of DNA is stored inside the nucleoid. The DNA inside the nucleoid is looped around
making the DNA circular in shape. Prokaryotic cells contain one chromosome which causes these
cells to reproduce asexually. For prokaryotes to reproduce they must clone itself through a process
called binary fission. A few examples of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Eukaryotes are much larger than prokaryotes and consist of many organelles. In eukaryotic cells a
nucleus is present. The nucleus within a eukaryotic cell houses the DNA. The DNA is bound to
proteins and organized into multiple chromosomes. The DNA is linear in shape. Eukaryotic cells
house many important organelles such as the plasma membrane, nucleolus, nucleus, chromosomes
that are paired, ribosomes, lysosomes, vesicle, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, mitochondria,
centrioles, cytoplasm, and cytoskeleton. Eukaryotic cells reproduce through a process known as
mitosis. During mitosis the nucleus divides itself. Once divided in half the nuclei becomes separate
cells called cytokinesis. Some examples of eukaryotes are potatoes, grass, pine trees, algae,
tapeworms, and

Class Inequality And The American Class
A response to Class in America 2009 makes some good points why Americans hate the word class.
Class is a word to classify a group of people to a certain social status. Americans do not like to be put
in a category based off of their money. Gregory Mantsios the author, explains how we view ourselves.
For example, most American citizens identify themselves with work. Mantsios gives other reasons,
and a solution to fix the American class labeling. Mantsios made some really good points about how
Americas view word class, and made me agree with some of his myth. He also presented a weak
solution that would go against our government to fix the problem of class in America. Class in
America by Gregory Mantsios is a profile of class inequality in today s society in America. He begins
by mentioning that people in America, rich or poor, do not seem to talk about class or class
differences. He says that is why classes divide. He mentions myths most Americans believe that this
country is classless, and full of equal opportunity, and replaces them with realities. These realities are
that class inequality is not pretty bad but getting worse. Emphasized by profiles of citizens of various
classes. He concludes that the main problems are capitalism, racism, and androcentric, and the
solution is redistribution of wealth. Mantsios says, Workers are most likely to identify with their
employer, industry, or occupational group (177). When you ask most people what they do for a living

##pectations In Willy Loman, Oedipus The King, And Death...
It is human nature to expect a lot from the people around us. Expectations are all achievable with
effort, but what if those expectations prevented the chance to make our lives extraordinary? Carpe
diem, seize the day, it is this principle that makes life worth pursuing, others expectations should not
interfere with the making of a pleasant life. In the play, Death of a Salesman, Oedipus the King , and
the novel Handmaid s Tale, Willy Loman, Oedipus, and Offred all strive to meet these expectations set
by others. In attempts to do so, the main characters decide to prevent their own satisfactory lives for
the betterment of the people around them and neglect the potential consequences of their choices.
Consequently, falling victim to others expectations leads to regrettable choices made in life, thus
resulting in devastating outcomes. Meeting expectations set out by others correlates with regrettable
decisions to be made, for instance, preventing one s own satisfactory life for the betterment of the
people around them. The novel Death of a salesman showcases Willy Loman pursuing his miserable
job because of the influence of Linda. Linda constant influence on Willy to continue working, diluted
Willy s perception of his job in order for Willy to continue working. When Ben spoke negatively
towards Willy, Linda stood up for him and said to Willy You re well liked and the boys love you and

Roy Adaptation Theory
Running head: ROY S ADAPTATION MODEL Nursing theory is an organized framework of
concepts that are designed to guide nursing practice and provide a foundation for clinical decision
making. There are many different types of nursing theories. This present paper will focus on one of the
Grand theories, the Roy Adaptation model (RAM). The paper is divided into four main sections
focusing on the importance of the RAM; summary of key concepts; view of RAM on specialization;
and conclusion. There has been an evolution of nursing practice from when Florence Nightingale
started. Nurses used to take direct medical direction to an evolution of independence. Today, advanced
practice nurses are PHD, DNP, researchers, nurse practitioners, ... Show more content on

The six steps include assessing behaviors, assessing and categorizing the stimuli, making a diagnosis,
setting goals, implementing interventions, and evaluating achievement. Roy also emphasizes that the
nurses should use their intuitive skills while assessing and initiating interventions. Roy s adaptation
theory has been used to perform nursing research for the past 35 years (Dobratz, 2008). The Boston
Based Adaptation in Nursing Research Society (BBARNS) helped provide and validate the use of Roy
adaptation model in nursing research. They helped identify over 163 studies of which 116 had links to
the RAM process. As a consequence, this theory has been used world wide for research including
holistic methods. I have practiced as a cardiology nurse for the past twenty years and I have seen the
implementation of RAM. Roy s theory can be applied to research pertaining to Cardiology patients.
On example of this is patients suffering with heart failure. It is estimated that 5.1 million patients have

Analysis Of The Film Memento
The film Memento (Christopher Nolan, 2001) uses the set of depth of field and angles to enhance the
film s connection to the audience. The use of cinematography works through the film using narration,
camera motions, and angles to show to the uniqueness and differ from other films. Memento s
organization of scenes and use of close ups give the audience their own idea and thought the process
to create a relation to the character and to try to understand him.
At the start of the film, the story is shown to be presented backward as one scene is color and another
in black and white, and narrated in two different ways. In the beginning scenes, there is an
introduction of a Polaroid fading back to white and blood running up the walls which correlates to
Leonard s memory and how the fading polaroid relates to his fading memories. There is a close up on
these scenes showing that the film is concentrating on this intensely, which captures the attention of
the audience. Memento s editing structure connects to Leonard s personality by showing close ups of
his tattoos and polaroids. This relates to the plot as important information is revealed from his mini
notes on each picture, such as the Don t believe his lies or He s the one, kill him which ultimately lead
to Teddy s death. What Leonard wrote regarding Teddy stains the relationship they have and causes
Leonard to misunderstand his relation with Teddy. Other close ups are the shots of tattoos, where one
was Remember Sammy Jankis which shows as a constant reminder of his situation and medical
condition, but also give the audience a sympathetic feeling toward his past. The little notes Leonard
gives himself convinces him that he is on the right path, however, as the audience, we can tell that the
information he is receiving is skewed. The constant reminder from the close ups shows Leonard s
reasoning of the motivations for his actions, although his constant need for his notes and living the
way he does gives off the idea that he is unstable. Leonard s close up in the mirror of the reflection of
his tattoo John G. raped and murdered my wife shows the audience what his motive and desires are
without needing Leonard s narration for this. The use of the

Madeleine Leininger Transcultural Nursing Theory
Transcultural Nursing Theory by Madeleine Leininger Tranette K Baca Central New Mexico
Community College June 9, 2017 Madeleine Leininger Madeleine Leininger was born July 13, 1925
in Sutton, Nebraska. She is known for developing the Transcultural Nursing Theory also known as the
Culture Care Theory .. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Human Sciences and Doctor of
Science. She was also a Registered Nurse and Certified Transcultural Nurse. Although Leininger
developed transcultural nursing theory in 1950 s, it wasn t published until four decades later in
Leininger s Culture Care Diversity and Universality (Petiprin, 2014). Leininger recognized that there
was an absence of cultural care knowledge while providing patient care. Therefore, purpose of
Transcultural Nursing Theory is to help nurses take in consideration the patient s culture and cultural
background when determining how to care for the patient (Petiprin, 2014). It also helps nurses to
become more understanding and respectful when it comes to diversity in culture and strengthen nurse
patient relationship. Madeleine Leininger s Transcultural theory is now incorporated into nursing
education to help improve health outcomes by knowing who our patients are as a whole. By doing this
we see patients as a whole, and not just viewing them simply a set of symptoms or an illness (Petiprin,
2014). Nurses can integrate patient s cultural background with the steps of the nursing process,

Madonna And Child Analysis
Portraits of the Madonna and Child depicting Mary holding the infant Christ provide a recurrent image
in art throughout the ages. In prevalent portrayals over the span of centuries, artists reflect a wide
diversity in their representations of the iconic duo. In particular, two works found in the National
Gallery of Ireland in the early Italian Renaissance gallery, The Virgin and Child, Saint John the Baptist
and Prophets by an unknown artist (1325 1450) and The Virgin and Child by Paolo Uccello (1435
1440), highlight the transition between Byzantine and early Renaissance paintings of the Madonna
and Child, particularly in relation to subject matter, composition, material, style and meaning.
Although each of these paintings of the Madonna and Child depicts the same Christian iconography of
Mary and Jesus, their differences in composition and style influence their meaning, with each painting
reflecting the individual artist who painted it and the different time period during which it was created.
The subject matter of both of these National Gallery of Ireland Madonna and Child works is
unmistakably Mary, who was assumed into heaven upon her death, and her son, Jesus Christ, born free
of original sin through the Immaculate Conception. A central icon of Christianity, Mary traditionally
exemplifies love, passion and devotion. As Mary represents universal motherhood, the subject of the
Madonna appeals to all people. Although both Madonna and Child paintings depict Mary holding

Diversity Management System Essay
Diversity is a term that we can all relate to in some way or another. The term diversity represents the
multitude of individual differences that make people different from and similar to each other, (Kinicki
Kreitner, 2009). Although some people view diversity as an issue of age, race, gender, religion, or
sexual preference, it is actually much more than that. It actually pertains to the differences that make
each individual special or unique and this is why it becomes important to learn how to interact and
grow with one another. In order for this to take place in the workplace, establishing a strong diversity
management program is essential to the success of any organization. One company in particular that

This is clearly defined in Xerox s Diversity Statement (2011), Xerox is committed to equal
opportunity of employment and all employment decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and
abilities. This behavior that Xerox has adopted has opened many doors over the years and given many
people the inspiration they need to reach for bigger opportunities. Xerox values their stand on

Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease
This week may be the last week I write to you. In my last letter to you, you may have noticed that I
seemed depressed and not like myself. I wasn t completely truthful in that letter. I m not just having a
bad day, I m diseased with an incurable, fatal disease. It all started about week after I left the United
States, and you. In the airport, in museums, and just walking through the streets of England I would
feel lost and confused, forgetting where I had come from and where I was going. Along with losing
some of my mental skills, every so often I would trip over my own feet or drop my travel bag, a sign
of me slowly losing coordination. Every hour or so, my hands, legs, and feet would begin to tingle and
burn. After about a week of suffering with these symptoms I went to a doctor, a primary care provider
only, and discussed how I d been feeling. He suggested I get some more sleep and possibly change my
diet. The first thought was that it was just me getting used to another country, time zone, and food.

How Different Stages Contribute Towards A Successful Outcome
How different stages contribute towards a successful outcome
The procedures and techniques used in any criminal investigation help the investigators to do their
investigation properly. By correctly following the investigative stage, the investigators can improve
the quality of their case and investigation and the police will get a better chance to solve any criminal
case. In any criminal investigation, five stages are involved. The police and investigators have the duty
to follow all this stages, in order to get the best results.
Initial response to a reported crime
This stage one of criminal investigation is considered to be one of the most important stages of
criminal investigation. An unprofessional mistake made by a first responding officer can extensively
destroy the whole investigation. By following the correct procedures and rule the first responding
officer can eliminate the chance of making mistakes during the initial investigation. The lack of
knowledge can also disrupt a criminal investigation. The first responding officer is likely to conduct a
successful investigation if he knows how to deal with the problems at the crime scene therefore, the
first responding officer need to have good knowledge about the investigative procedures.
While entering the crime scene, the first responding officer should look out for any evidence which is
present on the ground. There have some cases in which the first responding officer stepped on the
evidence such as blood or

Url Is The Abbreviation Of Uniform Resource Locator
URL is the abbreviation of Uniform Resource Locator. Some call it as Universal Resource Locator. It
is a web address. It refers to a web resource that specifies its location on a computer networking and a
mechanism for retrieving it (Wikipedia). It says that it is the means to access an indicated resource.
The Oracle defined it as a pointer to a resource on the World Wide Web. It agrees that URL is a web
resource. Epperson (2015) defined that URL is the abbreviation for the string that creates the reference
to a resource. He too accepts that it is a reference to a resource.
The Webopedia defined it as the global address of documents and other resources on the World Wide
Web. According to Dictionary.com URL is a protocol for specifying address on the internet. This too
agrees that it is a web address. The Dictionary of cultural literacy (2015) defined it as a formal address
of a document on the internet. It goes deep and says that it is a formal address of a document.
After examining various definitions and studying the features of URL, I am of the opinion that URL
could be defined that it is a web address/location that uses http or https protocol and enables user

Clipping Of Aneurysms Essay
It s not stress that kills us, it is our reaction to it. That is a famed quote from Hans Selye, a famous
Hungarian endocrinologist, that relates to moments when a life is in a physician s hands. One wrong
move of a doctor and a patient could die. Learning to overcome fears and concentrate on the task at
hand is the most needed skill for a surgeon, a brain surgeon to be exact. Focusing on the central
nervous system I can fix the abnormalities and diseases of the brain. One of the highest pressure
surgeries neurosurgeons perform are the clipping of aneurysms.
Aneurysms are a ballooning and weak area in the wall of an artery that supplies blood to the brain.
They can burst at any moment and cause a subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is bleeding under the
layer of brain coverings called the arachnoid. This can cause increased intracranial pressure which can
lead to a stroke or even death if they aren t discovered in time. They most commonly occur in the

rushed into emergency surgery to clip her aneurysm. This is a life or death situation that needs to be

What Was the Importance of Muhammad for the Arab...
What was the importance of Muhammad for the success of the Arab conquests?
The role of Prophet Muhammad, as both a temporal and religious leader was undeniably an important
factor in the success of the Arab conquests. These events took place between 622 and 750, first
involving the establishment of a new unified polity in the Arabian Peninsula, then leading to a Muslim
Empire which stretched from central Asia to North Africa and was one of the largest the world has
ever seen. This overwhelming success merits explanation, yet this is difficult to establish with
certainty, due to the small number and poor quality of surviving sources. Muhammad s main role was
to provide a unifying influence, both during his lifetime when he united a ... Show more content on

Hourani attributes most of the success of the early conquests to the specific role played by
Muhammad. Muhammed did not play the role of political leader in the Umma or conquests, but took
the position of supreme arbitrator. However, he may have been involved in military leadership; a text
from Syria written between 632 and 634 mentions that a false prophet [had] appeared among the
Saracens... with Sword and Chariot . However, the arabs military success can also in part be attributed
to the warlike nature of their society, which had been apparent in the constant skirmishes which had
previously beset the tribal society. This is a particularly useful source, as the wall of ignorance means
that many of the sources we can access were written by the victors or were passed through Isnad
(word of mouth). The fact that this source does not originate from the victor enhances its reliability.
The motivating force of Islam, and thus the ideas first established by Muhammad, played a crucial
role in the conquests. The new aim shared by many Muslims, to convert the entire world to Islam, was
the most important reason for the initial Arab conquests. This led to an enthusiastic and motivated
army, which facilitated its success. Muhammad continued to inspire Arabs to work together and fight
successfully long after his death. Rather than reckless

Early Stages Of Chronic Kidney Disease
The kidney is a body organ that filters blood for the secretion of urine and that regulates ion
concentrations. When the kidneys can no longer function properly, it causes a kidney disease which
can shut down and waste can be released into the blood flow. When kidneys can no longer function to
sustain day to day life, it is diagnosed as chronic kidney disease (CKD) or end stage renal disease
(ESRD).
In the United States, chronic kidney disease has been on the rise. Through laboratory testing, early
stages of kidney disease can be identified. Chronic kidney disease is a public health issue costing a lot
of money and minimal results. There is not a specific treatment to stop chronic kidney disease. It is
possible that there is no single

Steven Universe Stereotypes
When kids sit down in front of their Saturday morning TV, what are they seeing? Maybe they re
watching Hannah Montana, and they see that their favorite pop star in disguise is totally freaking out
that the cutest boy in school asked her to prom. Or maybe they re watching Fairly Odd Parents and
notice that Timmy Turner always gets hearts in his eyes when he sees his crush, Trixie Tang. These
instances might mean little to nothing for the decidedly heterosexual, but heteronormativity leaves out
children who are questioning or exploring their sexualities. This is where Cartoon Network s Steven
Universe comes leaping to the rescue. This is a show that explores a spectrum of queer relationships
and identities without resorting to stereotypes. Representation like this is important because children
of all identities and orientations need to be shown that not only are they not alone, but people similar
to themselves can lead successful lives. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Best Death Ever
The Best Death Ever Niall Griffiths
By Christian Steenfeldt, 3.U
Children cannot differentiate between what is fun and what is serious. In the short story The Best
Death Ever by Niall Griffiths four boys are playing a game where they have to fake a death. The boy
whoever fakes the best death wins the game. The four boys do not understand what they are doing and
see the game, The Best Death Ever, as a fun game. Until one moment, when one of the boys misjudges

their toy guns.

The story is a flashback of roughly 45 60 minutes of his life. The narrator looks back at that special
episode of his life and he turns all nostalgic.
The boys are strongly inspired by war movies and war stories told by the elderlies. The narrator has
received a toy gun from his granddad. He knows a lot about it because of his big interest in war. As
almost every other boy, they play games with guns and death involved. The problem is not that the
boys play war, but that they cannot differentiate between where the fun stops. In this game Gavin
almost killed himself, but it was not on purpose. A problem is, when the mom notices Gavin, she
immediately saves him. Then she slaps the narrator. By slapping the narrator she punishes him for
something that he does not know is wrong. The narrator is angry, because they have to award Gavin
the price of the best death.
I would shock and shake them all with the violence of my going. But we never played the game again.
Because his mother hit him and did not tell him what they did wrong, he does not understand
consequences. Therefore he still wants to win the game next time and he wants to put even more
violence in than Gavin did. Luckily they never played the game again, because nobody knows what
would have happened then.
This story is a perfect example to show that taking extra care of your children is highly necessary. If
you do not teach your kid what is dangerous and what is not, it will have serious consequences. As in

Social Issue Of Abortion
The legislation addressing the social issue of abortion is a paramount interest to me because I am a pro
life supporter. I understand that as of 1973 the U.S. Supreme Court s Roe vs. Wade legalized abortion
in all fifty states. Therefore, I m not completely fighting against abortion but rather the pro life versus
pro choice aspect of it. Although I m pro life, certain situations are necessary to get an abortion like
rape, hazard to health of the mother or child and incest. Here in Georgia, the polls show that forty
three percent of voters are pro life and the other fifty seven percent were pro choice because abortion
is taken lightly across the nation. While reviewing your stance on abortion I observed that you voted
yes to banning partial birth abortion except to save mother s life in October 2003, and rated 30% by
NARAL, indicating a pro life voting record in December 2003
(http://www.ontheissues.org/GA/Sanford_Bishop.htm). Based on where your stand with abortion, you
should be able to understand my point of view. I believe this issue directly impacts the fetus because
they are painfully terminated and will never get a chance to experience life.

In recent years autonomous underwater vehicles have come under the light for their vast applications.
To acquire improvement in autonomous underwater vehicle s (AUV) applications vehicle autonomy,
underwater communications, motion control, dynamics modeling as well as simulation system is
neede3d to be touched. These issues are needed to be resolved through a spiral development process
which is included at sea experimentation. To provide a simulation system platform for designing and
debugging problems of motion controller, a 3 Degree of Freedom (3 DOF) dynamic model for AUV is
examined. Based on a dynamic model controlled by thruster and fin with appendages, a simulation
system is established and motion performance is analyzed. Also an implementation of active
submarine warfare is tested. Signal processing capabilities and adaptive behavior were analyzed via
simulation. The results demonstrate that AUV has good maneuverability with or without appendages.
The implications for underwater surveillance are discussed in both simulation and experimental
context.

Essay On Nursing Home Neglect
Most people dread nursing homes because it conjures up all types of negative images. Unfortunately,
many of the stories that we hear are true. Despite all the attention this issue has received recently,
neglect in nursing homes continues at an alarming rate. A large majority of nursing home residents
report some type of neglect every year. Tragically, only a few come to light as most seniors either do
not have the ability to communicate or are simply too afraid to speak up.
There are different types of nursing home neglect some of which include:
1. Medical neglect: This is said to occur when the nursing facility fails to meet or address the basic
medical concerns of the senior resident. For example, if the patient is diabetic, their blood sugar level
needs to be checked frequently. If this is not done, there is a risk that the patient may go into a coma.
Similarly, if a resident presents with symptoms of vomiting, severe abdominal pain, fever, and
diarrhea, it is important to take this condition seriously and to transfer the patient to the nearest. If the
staff does not monitor or cater to these medical situations, they are neglecting the patients.
2. Failure to meet basic living needs: Some nursing homes fail to meet the basic living needs of the
resident. For example, the resident is left in bed with soiled diapers for several days or is not provided
with an adequate amount of food or water, this type of treatment is against basic humanity. There are

that sells signs, stickers, banners, and other printing goods. NBFP s main services are offered through
two online websites. National Business Forms Printing sold to affiliated and nonaffiliated customers,

cease and desist letter. In such letter, Ford demanded NBFP to pay $5000 for damages and to stop
commercializing with the Fords Logo. Instead of abiding to Ford s demand, NBFP decided to sue Ford
in a Texas State Court looking for a declaration . Ford, on the other hand, countersued NBFP in the
U.S. District Court of Southern District of Texas. Ford alleged that NBFP committed trademark
infringement, counterfeit of Ford s product (logo), and false designation . The U.S District Court of
Texas separated Ford s claims into four categories. First, NBFP s advertising material for Ford s
associated dealers. Second, advertising material for independent dealers; third, a custom logo made by
NBFP using an oval similar that stated NO BIG 3 BAILOUT; fourth, remaining products that NBFP
sold that could be connected to Ford. The District court denied judgment as a matter of law on the first

Workplace Conflict Resolution – a Case Study
Workplace Conflict Resolution A Case Study
Posted on October 13, 2009
Leaders frequently face situations where conflict arises in the workplace and they re called upon to
resolve the situation. Although conflict is not generally regarded as a positive experience it actually
can be a key opportunity to create change that will reduce friction in the workplace. We can begin to
defuse conflict by understanding what it is and implementing some practical strategies to manage it.
Conflict is a natural part of the workplace experience; people do not see eye to eye on everything and
often dig in and defend their positions. Conflict arises when individuals do not see the world in the
same way. The trap we fall into is assuming that conflict ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Tom has tried everything he knows to smooth things out but the two still spar frequently. This chronic
pattern has led to disciplinary action by Tom and complaints to human resources by Tina. Both parties
are productive employees who love the company and their jobs but do not know how to move beyond
all this conflict. Tom realizes that in order to build an effective team he has to have Tina on board but
he doesn t know how to do it. He knows that by using Tina s skills and energy he will look better and
the company will benefit. But how to do it?
Following our common sense approach Tom asks Tina to sit down and talk. It s important to mention
first that managers benefit greatly by putting in place some key elements that lead to successful
conversations such as meeting at a mutually convenient time, no distractions or interruptions allowed,
no agendas, a calm environment and unrestricted time to talk. When we set up an environment
conducive to relaxed conversation we create a greater likelihood of success. A small investment in
time up front to talk in depth can more than make up for the countless lost hours and cost devoted to
ongoing conflict.
They begin the conversation and together they discover that one issue at hand is that Tina prefers to
work with less supervision. They agree that they will talk about that one issue and name it, Tina
working with less supervision. The next thing they do is that each talks about what he or she thinks

This proves that an image that an artist created for the band can be destroyed by selling out to
companies. If a band created an image of being rebellious, and they sell out; then, they are going to

making deals with corporations are far greater. Such as, A corporation paying for these costs can make

Relationship Between Human Relationship With Humans
The Metaphysical correlation with Humans
In God s elemental metaphysics, Angels, Jins, demons and the universe of nature are intertwined and
interact continuously and continuously to form the process of metaphysics in everyday life.
Metaphysics is an abstract reconstruction of events composed of components of human action that
starts with the physical action thought, done and spoken. Metaphysics is also a typical manifestation
of humanity and the phenomenon of human existence. The close interconnection between man and
metaphysics is illustrated by the role of metaphysics in the process of forming attributes that
ultimately shape the character of the human identity. The introduction of metaphysics is a fact that can
trace back from the earliest human development. In this case, humans play a role in presenting the
existence of history that can arise if the human life had moved to tomorrow and leave yesterday. Thus,
yesterday as the embodiment of human existence in the history of his life. The person who is forty, or
sixty years old, is of course not born at that age, and this proves that every human being has a past as a
proof of the existence of history in which there is a human role in history. Impossible Iqbal s history
can express as the process appears without the meaning of human role. Man as an object of
metaphysics consists of physical, soul and spirit is the inherent unity of humans.

Autism Spectrum Disorder
Statistical evidences. ASD s gender proportion suggests that the autism is sex linked, and the statistical
evidence convincingly shows that genetic factors are playing key role in the prevalence of ASD. To
begin with, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) published the relationship between the number of autistic boys and girls. The
statistical evidence shows that boys are more inclined to become autistic than girls. CDC states that 1
in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls were identified as having ASD. This observation shows that ASD is
likely a sex linked inheritance. Sex liked inheritance is defined as a pattern of inheritance
characteristic of genes located on the sex chromosomes of organisms having a chromosomal
mechanism for sex determination (Sadava et al., 2014). If the ASD was sex linked inheritance, the
ratio between male and female exhibiting the phenotype would result in 3 to 1 under the normal curve.
The ratio between boy and girl is approximately 5 to 1, which shows that there is a strong association
between sex linked inheritance and ASD. For this reason, it is reasonable to conclude that ASD is
primarily influenced by the genetic factor, which is prenatal. On the other hand, some behavioral
psychiatrists would argue that the conclusion is inaccurately determined, since the genetic mutation
would not occur within a decade. As indicated in Appendix C: Table 1, the rate at which the number of
ASD children increase

Do you agree with the view expressed in source three that...
Do you agree with the view expressed in source three that the diplomatic situation was the main
reason for Henry s failure to obtain an annulment of his marriage to Catherine by 1529? We can
clearly see that there is more than one reason why Henry wanted to gain an annulment to Catherine in
1529, and that it wasn t purely down to reasons all diplomatically related. Although saying this, it s
also clear that the diplomatic situation at the time was a huge contributing factor for the failure. It
most definitely did slow down the progress Henry made in achieving his annulment. At the time of the
annulment, it was known that the Pope was hugely influenced by Charles V, who at the time was the

Another diplomatic situation that stacked against Henry, was the lack of allies he had, and especially
the fact that he had no powerful allies to support him in his struggle, or powerful enough to oppose the
Pope and Charles. With it looking that Henry had absolutely no diplomatic power or control in this
situation, it was looking that he would stand almost no chance in changing the mind of the Pope and
Charles into agreeing to the annulment. Although it s beginning to look like diplomatic status was the
only reason that caused the failure in the annulment, there were other factors such as Wolsey. At this
point in time,Wolsey was widely unpopular, especially in England. He had previously had huge
influence amongst the ranks of the courtiers, but they now felt no need to obey his orders. Due to this,
he justlike Henry had very few allies, and the few he did have weren t powerful enough to help him in
his cause. Due to this he was faced with great issues when it came to convincing Campeggio that
Henry had plausible reason to gain an annulment. Arguably the biggest fault of Wolsey, would be his
very poor relations with the Vatican and the papacy. Source J says that Wolsey s only real hope at
obtaining Henry s annulment would be to turn the people on Charles and gain more powerful allies

  • 3. Wax-Moth Larvae Research Paper Wax moth larvae is a species of caterpillar which has a surprising ability: to degrade plastic waste! One hundred of these worms can degrade ninety two milligrams of polyethylene, which is the hardest to degrade plastic, as well as the most common. Wax moth larvae, also known as Galleria mellonella will be a valuable research topic in the coming years. Additionally, these organisms come with a plethora of information on how plastic can finally be properly disposed of. How scientists discovered the abilities of the wax moth larvae is actually quite comical. Spanish researcher and beekeeper Federica Bertocchini put several wax moth larvae into a plastic bag after removing them from one of her hives. When she went to retrieve them, she discovered ... • 4. A Yellow Raft in Blue Water by Michael Dorris While growing up Michael Dorris never encountered a Native American literary character that he could relate too, and being of Modoc Tribe of California descent, this was something that was very important to him. After graduating from Georgetown University, and earning a Master s Degree at Yale, Dorris began to create these characters and ideas that he had longed for himself during childhood. He married his literary partner, Louise Erdrich, who was also of Native American descent. They had three children together, plus the three that Dorris had adopted, all of which were born on Native American reservations. All three of his adopted children suffered from fetal alcohol syndrome. During a twenty year period before Dorris death, he published fourteen books and over one hundred articles. In 1987 he published his first novel A Yellow Raft in Blue Water. A Yellow Raft in Blue Water is divided into three sections narrated by three different Native American women: Rayona, Christine and Ida. All three of these women are all related. Rayona is the daughter of Christine, and Christine believes she is the daughter of Ida, but Ida is actually her half sister and cousin. All three sections were a part of a larger story; they all helped support or complete each other. The structure of this novel forces us as readers to be more active. It causes us to look more closely, and fit together the stories of the three women. When the ladies are explaining the same event, it sometimes feels ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Pad 622 Unit 2 Research Paper KeAndra Davis July 3, 2015 PAD 622 Science, Technology and Government The conception of transparency seems to be everywhere in todays time, from the products we consume as buying customers to the governments we look to in leading our nations. Social media is another refuge for transparency. With millions of people noticing, it s difficult for any organization or individual to say one thing and do another. Supporters of the transparency movement say that it is a very good thing; after all, transparency is serving to keep people honest and up front about the products and services they sell to consumers. Many may ask the question, why is transparency so important to people. Maybe its because some people place such a high value on transparency because it can help to cause change on different levels. Changes can occur within a corporation or government, which can change the way it the government functions. Transparency can also create a change in the way government and companies relate to the public. And, it can result in groups being able to participate in lawmaking that may not have had that opportunity beforehand. It could be that people are witnessing a new world transformation. ... Honesty plays a big roll in careers and just life in general, for example when Ben was only supposed to get a one dollar bill back but the store clerk accidentally gave him a ten dollar bill Ben had to be truthful and tell her instead of taking the money for himself. Honesty helps Ben in so many ways but it will also help you because honesty is the key to a easy life and well lying just doesn t get you anywhere. God was a big part of Ben s journey of becoming a neurosurgeon, you can tell to because Ben prayed a lot, for example Ben prayed, Lord I need your help! I ve always thought you wanted me to be a doctor if I fail this class. Please either let me know what else I ought to do or perform a miracle and help me pass this exam (54). • 7. Relation Between Stock Returns And Economic Growth Many investors when making a decision regarding investing in a other country take into account certain factors which may play a very important role or may affect their future returns. Standard economics theory suggests that over the long run, profits or returns should rise in line with the economy/ economic growth, which is also the view point of many investors when making a decision. Although the long run research and studies conducted by different economists gives a very different picture of the relationship between stock returns and economic growth, but very little empirical evidences to support the view with. Many economists and researchers supported the view that, stock returns and economic growth does not have a positive ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Jay.R Ritter in his research said that the main reason for a negative correlation between the two factors, according to him during high growth rate periods markets usually assign a high price/Earning and price to dividend multiples and which then lowers the realized returns because now more capital is required from the investors to in order to receive the same level of earning s and dividends from stocks. From all these studies and empirical evidence it can be concluded that stock returns and economic growth are not related but have a negative correlation. Ho= no correlation between economic growth and stock return. H1= there is a relation between economic growth and stock returns On the other hand the results for interest rates give the same type of results. The basic classical economics model suggests that there is a relationship between interest rates and economic growth. Usually reduction in the interest rates cause the level of growth to increase, this is because a reduction in interest rates makes borrowing more cheaper and encourages in investment in the economy, which eventually increases the growth rate. However, an increase in interest rates has an opposite effect on economic growth. • 8. Soccer Vs Soccer Essay Two of the most popular sports worldwide have drastically different followings depending on the country. Even though people say soccer is more popular, there is no real debate on why Football is king. Both sports have changed cultures and impacted citizens, but which one is ultimately better? The first football game was played about 150 years ago, and has grown to one of the largest followings in the United States. American people have grown up in a society that is swarmed in a Footballistic Culture. During the fall season all talks and conversations are about how good the Patriots are doing or who has the best fantasy team, but by now this seems normal. To an average American boy this is nothing unnatural to hear about on a daily basis, and for even some they dread the talks of Football. However there are a select few that eat, breathe, and live football. Everything they do revolves around decisions their head coaches make and their lifestyles are compromised by star player decisions. Nevertheless Football has numerous aspects which make it superior to soccer. The First reason is the specialization of Offense and Defense, which allows players to devote their entire career to one side of the ball. This allows a player who feels strongly about a position to master all aspects of it and to become the best at it. If a player is all about destroying the offensive line and being disruptive as possible, then the defensive line is the perfect match up. Forcing players ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 10. Prokaryotic And Eukaryotic Cells Similarities Cells are the basic unit of all living things. The two most important types of cells are prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. These two types of cells differ in many ways, but they also share similarities. One thing prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells have in common is that they both contain a plasma membrane and cytoplasm. Another similarity between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells is that they contain ribosomes. Prokaryotic cells are usually single celled organisms much small than eukaryotic cells. Bacteria and archaea are prokaryotes. Prokaryotic cells have no nucleus and no membrane bound organelles. Prokaryotic cells also do not have chloroplasts or mitochondria. The main difference of prokaryotic cells from eukaryotic cells is that prokaryotic cells lack a nucleus. Since prokaryotes lack a nucleus the majority of DNA is stored inside the nucleoid. The DNA inside the nucleoid is looped around making the DNA circular in shape. Prokaryotic cells contain one chromosome which causes these cells to reproduce asexually. • 11. Class Inequality And The American Class A response to Class in America 2009 makes some good points why Americans hate the word class. Class is a word to classify a group of people to a certain social status. Americans do not like to be put in a category based off of their money. Gregory Mantsios the author, explains how we view ourselves. For example, most American citizens identify themselves with work. Mantsios gives other reasons, and a solution to fix the American class labeling. Mantsios made some really good points about how Americas view word class, and made me agree with some of his myth. He also presented a weak solution that would go against our government to fix the problem of class in America. Class in America by Gregory Mantsios is a profile of class inequality in today s society in America. He begins by mentioning that people in America, rich or poor, do not seem to talk about class or class differences. He says that is why classes divide. He mentions myths most Americans believe that this country is classless, and full of equal opportunity, and replaces them with realities. These realities are that class inequality is not pretty bad but getting worse. Emphasized by profiles of citizens of various classes. He concludes that the main problems are capitalism, racism, and androcentric, and the solution is redistribution of wealth. Mantsios says, Workers are most likely to identify with their employer, industry, or occupational group (177). When you ask most people what they do for a living they ... Expectations are all achievable with effort, but what if those expectations prevented the chance to make our lives extraordinary? Carpe diem, seize the day, it is this principle that makes life worth pursuing, others expectations should not interfere with the making of a pleasant life. In the play, Death of a Salesman, Oedipus the King , and the novel Handmaid s Tale, Willy Loman, Oedipus, and Offred all strive to meet these expectations set by others. In attempts to do so, the main characters decide to prevent their own satisfactory lives for the betterment of the people around them and neglect the potential consequences of their choices. Consequently, falling victim to others expectations leads to regrettable choices made in life, thus resulting in devastating outcomes. Meeting expectations set out by others correlates with regrettable decisions to be made, for instance, preventing one s own satisfactory life for the betterment of the people around them. The novel Death of a salesman showcases Willy Loman pursuing his miserable job because of the influence of Linda. Linda constant influence on Willy to continue working, diluted Willy s perception of his job in order for Willy to continue working. The Boston Based Adaptation in Nursing Research Society (BBARNS) helped provide and validate the use of Roy adaptation model in nursing research. They helped identify over 163 studies of which 116 had links to the RAM process. As a consequence, this theory has been used world wide for research including holistic methods. The use of cinematography works through the film using narration, camera motions, and angles to show to the uniqueness and differ from other films. Memento s organization of scenes and use of close ups give the audience their own idea and thought the process to create a relation to the character and to try to understand him. At the start of the film, the story is shown to be presented backward as one scene is color and another in black and white, and narrated in two different ways. In the beginning scenes, there is an introduction of a Polaroid fading back to white and blood running up the walls which correlates to Leonard s memory and how the fading polaroid relates to his fading memories. There is a close up on these scenes showing that the film is concentrating on this intensely, which captures the attention of the audience. Memento s editing structure connects to Leonard s personality by showing close ups of his tattoos and polaroids. This relates to the plot as important information is revealed from his mini notes on each picture, such as the Don t believe his lies or He s the one, kill him which ultimately lead to Teddy s death. What Leonard wrote regarding Teddy stains the relationship they have and causes Leonard to misunderstand his relation with Teddy. Other close ups are the shots of tattoos, where one was Remember Sammy Jankis which shows as a constant reminder of his situation and medical condition, but also give the audience a sympathetic feeling toward his past. The little notes Leonard gives himself convinces him that he is on the right path, however, as the audience, we can tell that the information he is receiving is skewed. The constant reminder from the close ups shows Leonard s reasoning of the motivations for his actions, although his constant need for his notes and living the way he does gives off the idea that he is unstable. Leonard s close up in the mirror of the reflection of his tattoo John G. raped and murdered my wife shows the audience what his motive and desires are without needing Leonard s narration for this. She is known for developing the Transcultural Nursing Theory also known as the Culture Care Theory .. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Human Sciences and Doctor of Science. She was also a Registered Nurse and Certified Transcultural Nurse. Although Leininger developed transcultural nursing theory in 1950 s, it wasn t published until four decades later in Leininger s Culture Care Diversity and Universality (Petiprin, 2014). Leininger recognized that there was an absence of cultural care knowledge while providing patient care. It also helps nurses to become more understanding and respectful when it comes to diversity in culture and strengthen nurse patient relationship. Madeleine Leininger s Transcultural theory is now incorporated into nursing education to help improve health outcomes by knowing who our patients are as a whole. • 17. Madonna And Child Analysis Portraits of the Madonna and Child depicting Mary holding the infant Christ provide a recurrent image in art throughout the ages. In prevalent portrayals over the span of centuries, artists reflect a wide diversity in their representations of the iconic duo. In particular, two works found in the National Gallery of Ireland in the early Italian Renaissance gallery, The Virgin and Child, Saint John the Baptist and Prophets by an unknown artist (1325 1450) and The Virgin and Child by Paolo Uccello (1435 1440), highlight the transition between Byzantine and early Renaissance paintings of the Madonna and Child, particularly in relation to subject matter, composition, material, style and meaning. Although each of these paintings of the Madonna and Child depicts the same Christian iconography of Mary and Jesus, their differences in composition and style influence their meaning, with each painting reflecting the individual artist who painted it and the different time period during which it was created. The subject matter of both of these National Gallery of Ireland Madonna and Child works is unmistakably Mary, who was assumed into heaven upon her death, and her son, Jesus Christ, born free of original sin through the Immaculate Conception. When we set up an environment conducive to relaxed conversation we create a greater likelihood of success. A small investment in time up front to talk in depth can more than make up for the countless lost hours and cost devoted to ongoing conflict. They begin the conversation and together they discover that one issue at hand is that Tina prefers to work with less supervision. They agree that they will talk about that one issue and name it, Tina working with less supervision. The next thing they do is that each talks about what he or she thinks about Tina working ... • 35. Relationship Between Human Relationship With Humans The Metaphysical correlation with Humans In God s elemental metaphysics, Angels, Jins, demons and the universe of nature are intertwined and interact continuously and continuously to form the process of metaphysics in everyday life. Metaphysics is an abstract reconstruction of events composed of components of human action that starts with the physical action thought, done and spoken. Metaphysics is also a typical manifestation of humanity and the phenomenon of human existence. The close interconnection between man and metaphysics is illustrated by the role of metaphysics in the process of forming attributes that ultimately shape the character of the human identity. The introduction of metaphysics is a fact that can trace back from the earliest human development. In this case, humans play a role in presenting the existence of history that can arise if the human life had moved to tomorrow and leave yesterday. Thus, yesterday as the embodiment of human existence in the history of his life. The person who is forty, or sixty years old, is of course not born at that age, and this proves that every human being has a past as a proof of the existence of history in which there is a human role in history. • 36. Autism Spectrum Disorder Statistical evidences. ASD s gender proportion suggests that the autism is sex linked, and the statistical evidence convincingly shows that genetic factors are playing key role in the prevalence of ASD. To begin with, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published the relationship between the number of autistic boys and girls. The statistical evidence shows that boys are more inclined to become autistic than girls. CDC states that 1 in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls were identified as having ASD. This observation shows that ASD is likely a sex linked inheritance. Sex liked inheritance is defined as a pattern of inheritance characteristic of genes located on the sex chromosomes of organisms having a chromosomal mechanism for sex determination (Sadava et al., 2014). If the ASD was sex linked inheritance, the ratio between male and female exhibiting the phenotype would result in 3 to 1 under the normal curve. The ratio between boy and girl is approximately 5 to 1, which shows that there is a strong association between sex linked inheritance and ASD. For this reason, it is reasonable to conclude that ASD is primarily influenced by the genetic factor, which is prenatal. On the other hand, some behavioral psychiatrists would argue that the conclusion is inaccurately determined, since the genetic mutation would not occur within a decade. As indicated in Appendix C: Table 1, the rate at which the number of ASD children increase ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Do you agree with the view expressed in source three that the diplomatic situation was the main reason for Henry s failure to obtain an annulment of his marriage to Catherine by 1529? We can clearly see that there is more than one reason why Henry wanted to gain an annulment to Catherine in 1529, and that it wasn t purely down to reasons all diplomatically related. Although saying this, it s also clear that the diplomatic situation at the time was a huge contributing factor for the failure. It most definitely did slow down the progress Henry made in achieving his annulment. At the time of the annulment, it was known that the Pope was hugely influenced by Charles V, who at the time was the Holy Roman Emperor. Due to Charles role ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Another diplomatic situation that stacked against Henry, was the lack of allies he had, and especially the fact that he had no powerful allies to support him in his struggle, or powerful enough to oppose the Pope and Charles. With it looking that Henry had absolutely no diplomatic power or control in this situation, it was looking that he would stand almost no chance in changing the mind of the Pope and Charles into agreeing to the annulment. Although it s beginning to look like diplomatic status was the only reason that caused the failure in the annulment, there were other factors such as Wolsey. At this point in time,Wolsey was widely unpopular, especially in England. He had previously had huge influence amongst the ranks of the courtiers, but they now felt no need to obey his orders. Due to this, he justlike Henry had very few allies, and the few he did have weren t powerful enough to help him in his cause. Due to this he was faced with great issues when it came to convincing Campeggio that Henry had plausible reason to gain an annulment. Arguably the biggest fault of Wolsey, would be his very poor relations with the Vatican and the papacy. Source J says that Wolsey s only real hope at obtaining Henry s annulment would be to turn the people on Charles and gain more powerful allies such as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
