El Rio de la Plata (Spanish for Silver River ) it is an estuary located southeast of South America in
between the countries of Argentina and Uruguay, draining its waters into the vast Atlantic Ocean. It is
formed by the mixture between the Paraná River and the Uruguay River which extend the estuary for
a 274 km of longitude, with 48 km wide at the head of the estuary and 220 km wide at the mouth,
