This question showed me that the market is
quite varied. It shows me that magazines can
appeal to all, so it doesn’t need to be tied
down to one specific gender.
Question 2
For this question the majority of the survey
respondents were between 16-18.This shows
me that I should be targeting my magazine to
people between this age.

This question showed me which music genres
a popular. Indie and Pop are equal as the most
popular. Pop is usually the most popular
however this showed me that indie is
becoming more popular.
3. Question 4
This slightly corresponds with the previous question
as you would expect NME, Q and Kerrang! to be the
most popular as they are popular magazines and
are the most popular music genres. However from
this question it shows that NME is the most
popular.This may be because of the layout of the
pages and what is included in the magazine, as well
as the price.

This question shows me that music is a big
part of peoples lives as the majority of
people listen to it daily.This shows me that
music impacts a lot of peoples lives.
This gives me an idea of when the best time to publish magazines is.
From my survey the results show me that people would expect to buy a
music magazine weekly. However you could issue the magazine
monthly and it would still be popular.

Most people picked Spotify or ITunes for
this. This is because everything is done via
internet and on mobile devices. I am going
to ensure I include something to do with
either of these in my magazine.
This was quite a mixed answer as they were all fairly
equal. So in my magazine I’ll include all of these.
However it'll mainly be interviews. Under other
someone put tour dates which I could include in the
double page spread of the specified band.
The most frequent answer was between £2.51 and £3.50.
As a result of this I am putting my magazine cost at £2.50
as it is a more even price. Also as it is a weekly magazine
people would not want to pay too much for it as they get it
every week.
