2. QUESTION ONE
I made this question to help me
understand what would be the best
social media to have with my
magazine and which my target
audience will look at most. I gave
my survey to people that are the
target audience for my magazine so I
get an accurate answer and this can
help me create the perfect magazine.
3. QUESTION TWO
When I asked this question I
pacifically wanted to know how often I
should distribute my magazine. The
answers for this question we’re
quite mixed. If I was to ask this
question another time I would have
asked why and what would benefit them
for it coming out every week,
fortnight etc. Although this question
did narrow it down from three to two
options which is very helpful for my
planning.
4. QUESTION THREE
This question was asked because I
wanted to know how often I could add
new artists into my magazine and if
people will enjoy reading about new
artists. 50% of people said they’re
very interested which gives me an idea
of exactly how much about new artists
I can include into my magazine.
5. QUESTION FOUR
I asked this question to get a clear
idea on how much I could sell my
music magazine for. With the answers
I got I am going to sell my magazine
for £3.50. this is less than a normal
music magazine but more than a gossip
magazine and my magazine has 50 extra
pages which means my readers/buyers
are getting more for their money.
6. QUESTION FIVE
I asked this question to see if I
should create an online magazine
along with my print one. After
these results I have come to the
conclusion many people prefer print
anyway so I shall just keep to
print and not create an online
magazine.
7. QUESTION SIX
These answers show how people mostly
find out new artists from social media,
internet, electronics. This shows us how
it is no longer word of mouth or seeing
them on the street, everything is now
found out on the internet so if I wanted
to release a new artists I would upload
their videos to YouTube and put links on
twitter/facebook for everyone to see and
pass around.
8. QUESTION SEVEN
These answers have revealed to
me that 60% of people manage to
always keep up with their
favourite artists and 40%
sometimes keep up with their
favourite artists. This is shows
that people no matter if its
sometimes or always they know
something about their favourite
artist or know what's going on.
They never don’t know anything.
9. QUESTION EIGHT
70% answered that mid shot is a
successful front cover. This answer
was good because most music
magazines have many mid shots as
their front cover and these
magazines are mostly very successful
and popular within my target
audience. I have researched many
long shot magazines and they are
only used for fashion magazines eg
catwalk etc.
10. QUESTION NINE
These results show people prefer to
know more about their current artists
rather than upcoming although they do
enjoy upcoming artists so my magazine
will be mixed having lots on current
artists and having bits on the side
about new artists and what they’ve
been up too.
11. QUESTION TEN
This answer is very clear on how many
people just download music now and
don’t bother buying Cd’s as it is
easier and preferred to just download
onto iPod, tablet, iphone etc. this is
great to know as I can add freebies
such as Itunes vouchers instead of
free cd as many people just download
music now.
