CREATING THE
BEST CLUB CLIMATE
Presented by: Chai Pei Shan, Club President, President’s Distinguished Club

“what impress me the most… is the
energy in the room, professionalism,
attention to details,
well-structured programme.
A great club that is committed to what
Toastmasters stand for…”
A club’s climate is the deciding factor in whether or not guests become members
and whether those members continue to participate and remain active.
The following conditions affect operations, members, attitudes toward a club, and
the willingness of guests to join:
 Learning environment: cleanliness, room arrangements, adequate supply of
materials, room temperature, etc.
 Member interactions: encouragement, feedback, support, and room to learn
and grow
The unique dynamic of a Toastmasters club influences the performance and
growth of its members.
CREATING THE BEST CLUB CLIMATE
