suitable for male and females as I
questioned an even(ish) number of both

aged 15-18 therefore my results were
bias. Therefore I need to question a
wider range of ages for better, more
reliable results

3) These results show that the colours the
participants like the most are red and
purple – as red and purple don’t go
together I will probably use red and
blue, with white and black.

important to see what
magazines my audience
already reads so I can
find a market niche with
my music magazine
2. 5) Knowing this imformation will
allow me to price up my magazine
against what my audience would
pay, I think I will make my
magazine about £2.20 as that is
what most people would pay.

would like to wait for the
next issue of my magazine. I
will make my magazine monthly as that’s what the most popular result with my
questionnaire was.
7) The favourite indie artist/band given by my results were:
Bastille, Arctic Monkeys, The Clash, Never Shout Never, Jake Bugg, Swim Deep, and Alt-J
Therefore, I will use some of these acts in the content of my magazine.
8) I asked “what words come to your head when you think of “indie music” my main
results were:
Hip, Country, Cardigans, Chill, Edgy, Peace, Festivals, Guitar, Different, Acoustic, Triangles, Happy
I used one of these words to name my magazine, I picked “Edgy” as it was short and snappy
however I think I will change it to “Edge” as it rolls off the tongue more.
