2. What's your favourite colour?
This pie chart shows that majority of survey audience
like the colour black so i might include the colour black
in my music magazine to attract more of my target
audience.

Majority of the answers to my question were
other magazines I haven't put down. However
the next highest amount with 25% is Kerrang,
this will help me by seeing how kerrang market
and design their magazine which could help
inspire ideas for my magazine.

4. What are your top 5
favourite bands?
Red hot chili peppers, 30 seconds to mars,
fall out boy, Green day and linkin park
show up a lot in the answers. This means
that they are very popular answers

5. What are your 3 least
favourite bands?
One direction, ariana grande and other
music which is part of the pop genre
aren't popular and liked choice for my
target audience. This helps because it
shows that i shouldn't feature any
bands or artist from the pop genre
because i'll have a decrease in my
target audience.

6. Do you prefer having posters in magazines?
70% of the answers are people who prefer posters in a music
magazine, 20% are not bothered and rest don't like posters.
This helps me decide what i should put in my magazine to
attract more of my target audience so i might feature posters in
my magazine.

willing to read in a music
magazine?
Most people are willing to read 30
pages of a music magazine, this means
that i shouldn't have a lot of pages in my
magazine because my target audience
might lose interest in reading a lot of
pages. I could also make my articles
more interesting to intrigue my target
audience into reading more pages
because it's keeping them interested.

magazine?
37.5% of my audience answered £2.99 as the most they are willing to read
and second most popular answer is £1.99 with 29.17% and the third was
25% of my audience are willing to pay £3.99. This helps me decide how
much my magazine should cost because i know how much majority of my
audience are willing to pay. I'll make my magazine £2.99 because it's the
middle price between the three and most popular answer.

9. What frequency publication is better for a music
magazine?
41.67% of my audience has chosen monthly and the
other two answers are both equal with how many people
have chosen. This helps me decide what frequency of
publication is best for my magazine. I'll make my
magazine come out monthly because it's the most
popular answer and more people are likely to buy it if it
comes out monthly because more people will have to
money to buy it monthly then every week or every other
week.

10. Would you prefer a male or female on the front
cover of a magazine?
Most of my answers were answered not
bothered this shows that my target audience
are not going to judge or not buy my magazine
if it doesn't have a male or female on the front,
therefore the front cover of my magazine will
feature whoever the main article is about for
example if the main article is about red hot chili
peppers i’ll put them on the front cover.

This shows that most people listen to music all the
time, this means that my music magazine will be
very popular because it’ll be everything to do with
music and will help them find more and new
interesting bands/artists.

page should have?
This shows that most of my target audience are willing
to read two columns of writing so i'll put two columns to
give the audience the right amount of information
without giving them too little of too much.

Most answers of my question are all
alternative bands and artists so i'll
feature a lot of alternative bands and
artists to keep my target audience
interested.

Majority of the people who answered the questions
were female this means that i should advertise my
more things to interest the males in my target
audience to make it equal and fair for all genders.

monthly?
Majority of people only buy music magazines
1-2 times a month this implies that my
magazine should only come out once or twice
a month to keep my target audience
interested and able to purchase my
magazine.

16. How often do you see bands live a year?
Most people only see live bands 1-3 times a year this helps
me decide if i should feature a lot of bands and gigs that are
going on so my target audience know if their favourite bands
or artists are playing live.

music magazine?
Most people answered free posters which
implies that i should feature free posters. The
second most popular answer was bands or
artist on the front cover and other bands and
artists feature. This helps because it shows
that i should put a popular band on the front
cover to attract my target audience and have
plenty of other bands and artists featured to
keep my audience hooked.

Most of my target audience are going
to be between the ages of 16-18. This
indicates that i should use slang or
maybe strong language because most
of my target audience would
understand it.

19. How many pages would you say is suitable
for a music magazine?
The most popular answer was 31-40 pages.
This signifies that i should have my magazine
31-40 pages so my target audience are more
likely to read every page.

20. Should a music magazine cover contain an
instrument?
Most of my answers were answered yes and
maybe and only 8.33% answered no. this shows
that i should feature an instrument on the cover of
my music magazine so it keeps the interest of my
target audience.

21. If yes or maybe what instrument stands out
the most to you?
Most people answered guitar or drums, this
implies that i should feature rather a guitar or
drums on the front cover of my magazine.
