Question 1 - How much people enjoy horror films I chose to use this question
to grasp how much my
target audience enjoy
horror. This is important to
know as the trailer that I will
be creating will be a horror
one and if its aimed at a
particular age group it will
be most effective if they
enjoy what they are seeing.

which sub-genre they enjoy the
most, it makes it easier for me to
decide which one my trailer will
be. This is because it will have the
most appeal to my target
audience.
I asked this question to see
what the audience like seeing
most in a horror film. The aim
of this was to know what they
will want to see most in the
trailer too. It is important to
know this so that I know what
is most important to include in
my trailer.

Question 5 - Why people watch horror films Similarly to question 3 this
question aims to find out what
people want to see most from a
horror film. Unlike question 3
however this is more focused on
technical aspects and things that
I have good control over. It also
gives a more general feedback
so that I can do what I want
within each one.

This last question aimed to
help me make my plotline

target audience. It gives me
an idea what scenario my
audience enjoys most and
that I could make into a plot
for my own film.
Conclusion
Due to the findings from my questionnaire, I have decided that a
psychological home invasion film is what my target audience
enjoy most and is what will be the main plot for the trailer. This is
also a practical idea as we have easy access to a house.
