Varied angles, with only the main focus
well lit.
Dark shadowy streets.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Trailer
A still from the trailer, where the editor alters the effect of the image and the hue before finally
fading to black.
In Sweeney Todd the setting is the dark eerie streets of poorly lit
London, this is similar to my teaser horror trailer as my trailer is
set in a dark and cold atmosphere.

Very little
information is
given away, it
is very
mysterious.
A lot of swirls and dark
images
There is
lots of
darkness.
Each trailer is only a
few seconds long.
There are many, each
revealing a little more
of the story, but still
keep the mysterious
factor.

1. What would have to be included in a teaser trailer which would convince you
to watch the full movie? Why?
– Suspense and unanswered questions makes me want to go and see it.
2. What would have to included in a poster, advertising the movie, in order to
sell the movie to you? Why?
– An iconic image which tells a story in itself. I like that style.
3. Why do you watch horror movies?
– I don't. Bad on my heart.
4. What do you look for in a horror movie? Why?
– Physiological intrigue and an interesting plot.
5. What puts you off a horror movie? Why?
– Jumpscares. Bad on my heart. And segways, evil, evil inventions!

21. Interview 2
1. What would have to be included in a teaser trailer which would convince you
to watch the full movie? Why?
– Dialogue stating the basic story, and a bunch of jump scares. And a slight reveal of
the antagonist /beast looking badass and intimidating
2. What would have to included in a poster, advertising the movie, in order to
sell the movie to you? Why?
– A picture of the antagonist and a gloomy back ground . It just sets the scene of
what we're walking into
3. Why do you watch horror movies?
– To get scared
4. What do you look for in a horror movie? Why?
– I look for a good plot with quite a few twists ... It can't just be filled with jump
scares or there is no point to the movie
5. What puts you off a horror movie? Why?
– When a movie has no story or is full of jump scares, so much so that they
become obvious and looses the scare factor. Or if it’s just too long.
