2. Process
First I used the magic wand tool to
select the sky, using shift to select
multiple parts.
I then selected layer via copy, and
added a colour mixer the create the
coloured sky. I used the magic wand
tool to easily, and more accurately
select whole areas, such as the sky.
That, and along with the Magnetic
polygon tool I was able to separate
the sky from the rest of the image.
I had to do this and then copy the
background, and keep it on a separate tab.
I took the original image and opened it up in
Photoshop, then using the colour mixer I
altered the colour mixture of red, green and
blue.
I did this to the whole image, altering various
colours. When I found the one I wanted, I
copied the buildings onto the distorted
image, creating my final image.
I had to do everything in that order so that
the sky was behind the buildings. This
creates and unrealistic, but unique image.
If I had not done in it this order, I may have
ended up with the whole colour of the
image distorded, or the sky may have been
fine and the buildings will be colourful.
3. Process
I created a website using wix, I chose a template that I think
would work with my idea, and began to edit it. Changing the
photos to my own, I changed the design and backgrounds to
suit the overall theme of the page.
At the bottom of every page there is a slideshow of photos
permanently on repeat as a slideshow.
There is also copyrights.
I chose to create a wix to appeal to the 45% of my audience
who said that they would prefer a digital portfolio. A digital
portfolio also allowed me to reach out to a larger audience.
The website is easy to use, and the navigation bar is simple to
follow.
I used more images on my website than I did in my physical
magazine portfolio, this is because how the website is laid out
and designed it means that it is easier to upload and arrange
the images how I wanted them. However because of the
restrictions and my lack of knowledge of the website along
with the lack of time I had, the images were not arranged as I
would have preferred.

4. Process
I decided to create more pages to make my
website look more professional, and to give
it more life. It was also a way for me to
present more of my work in a way that
means my audience would not get bored.
Each new page was for a subject/genre,
such as ‘Edinburgh’ I did a similar thing for
my physical portfolio.
The backgrounds of the pages differ from
each other in order to set the mood or
contrast for the category portrayed.
5. ProcessOn the navigation bar the word goes green
when that is the page that you are on, and
blue when the curser hovers over a word.
This made the already simple navigation bar
even easier to use, meaning it suited all of my
audience.
All social links on my website open up in
other tabs, I created accounts specially for
this project, however they all work and I
intend to use them quiet frequently. Each of
my social media links I created have at least 1
image taken from my product.
6. Process
My website is mobile friendly, and links open in separate tabs; if the person has the
apps installed on their devices, social links open up in the app. I did this as almost
everyone has a mobile device now, it makes it easier for more people to access.
7. Process
• I created a physical
Portfolio, as a magazine
and uploaded that to
my website.
• I created my portfolio
on Photoshop using
images I have taken,
and edited.
8. Process
I used various ways to edit my
images for my project, sticking
mostly to Photoshop.
However I did use apps on my phone
such as ‘Fragment’, ‘Matter’, and
‘Shift’ to help me create certain
effects. Whilst I could create most
effects using Photoshop, my skills are
not that developed. I found it easier
and more effective to use other
means to create the effects I wanted,
I also feel like I may not have met the
deadline if I were to attempt what I
wanted using Photoshop.
Fragment
Matter
ShiftWith some images, I
first used an app
(Fragment) and I would
then use Photoshop to
edit it a little more, like
this one.
9. Process
Most images used are
completely unedited.
However most images that are
edited, are very clearly edited.
There are a few that are slightly
edited, such as the contrast is
slightly changed, and altered in a
minor way.
All of these edits were made using Photoshop.
