People who take a great interest in Social Media
will not only find out about the latest films first but
will most likely be the most enthused to see them,
they enjoy virtual interaction and therefore love to
be sucked into a whole new virtual world

Films such as Marvel's Avengers, Iron
Man and Captain America have a vast
mount of ‘super-fans’ who create great
deal of mainstream hype for the film
These gaming enthusiasts love to play the virtual
characters from comic book series on their consoles so
naturally they will always go to see their virtual hero on the
This also means it is harder to
promote a film to due to the
reduced part media plays in their
life
Interest in
Sports
Athletes, Sailors, Skiers or any
other people who take a great
interest in outdoor sports are
unlikely to want to sit in a dark
room watching a screen
Therefore a film must interest them a
great deal before they bother to go and
see it e.g Eddie the eagle, Rocky, Cool
Social Interaction
Consumers who value physical
social interaction will want to
watch films that have strong
talking points and are good topics
for conversation
Anything too alternative, gory,
psychopathic or even boring would
not make for a good topic on a
night out therefore they would not
be intrigued to watch it
