Cinema, social networking, social 
media and gaming. These are 
common interests among young 
people, which is the age I will be 
targeting. 
Gender: Male 
I have chosen this gender because 
stereotypically males tend to 
watch more thriller movies. 
Age: 15 -23 
I have chosen this age range as I 
want my thriller to be watched by 
mid teens and young adults as 
they generally watch more thriller 
movies than older target 
members would. I also want to 
keep my film as a 15 age 
certificate so I would need 15 to 
be the youngest age. 
Psychographic group: 
(passive) Reformer. My 
target audience usually 
have refined tastes in 
media products. They 
would have a diverse and 
sophisticated media 
taste. 
Likes: Socialising, cinema, social media, gore, thriller, 
gaming and movies. I chose these likes because this 
is what my film would revolve around and it also 
includes the common likes of my targeted age. 
Dislikes: Romance, ‘chick flicks’ and cliché storylines. 
Many males around my targeted age group, tend to 
dislike and avoid films with these features. 
Media Preferences: 
YouTube, Netflix, TV, Cinema and 
Social networking. My target 
audience, due to their age, will 
most likely be involved in these 
types of media. 
Product Preferences: 
Smart phone, laptop, tablet, 
computer, games console. Due 
to their age, gender and possible 
interests, my target audience will 
most likely use these products. 
Lifestyle: 
Student, with the possibility of a 
part time job at minimum wage . 
Some may have a full time job. 
This is because the majority of my 
target audience will be in some 
form of education. 
Other films they like: 
THRILLERS: 
• The Dark Knight 
• The Dark Knight Rises 
• Inception 
Geographical Location: 
Mainly the UK, but 
some parts of Europe. 
My film will be 
produced by an English 
company and will be 
both made and set in 
England.

Interests: Cinema, social networking, social media and gaming. These are common interests among young people, which is the age I will be targeting. Gender: Male I have chosen this gender because stereotypically males tend to watch more thriller movies. Age: 15 -23 I have chosen this age range as I want my thriller to be watched by mid teens and young adults as they generally watch more thriller movies than older target members would. I also want to keep my film as a 15 age certificate so I would need 15 to be the youngest age. Psychographic group: (passive) Reformer. My target audience usually have refined tastes in media products. They would have a diverse and sophisticated media taste. Likes: Socialising, cinema, social media, gore, thriller, gaming and movies. I chose these likes because this is what my film would revolve around and it also includes the common likes of my targeted age. Dislikes: Romance, ‘chick flicks’ and cliché storylines. Many males around my targeted age group, tend to dislike and avoid films with these features. Media Preferences: YouTube, Netflix, TV, Cinema and Social networking. My target audience, due to their age, will most likely be involved in these types of media. Product Preferences: Smart phone, laptop, tablet, computer, games console. Due to their age, gender and possible interests, my target audience will most likely use these products. Lifestyle: Student, with the possibility of a part time job at minimum wage . Some may have a full time job. This is because the majority of my target audience will be in some form of education. My film will be produced by an English company and will be both made and set in England.
