cinema.The majorityof the respondentsappeargo
quite regularly,with45% goingmonthlyand35%
goingevery2-5 months.Thisshowsthatmy
promotional package will reachmytargetaudience
throughcinemapromotion.However,othermethods
of promotionsuchasvia social
mediawill be necessary. This
reinforcesmy understandingthat
theyare passionate aboutfilm.

the adrenaline andthe action.Iwill have to
ensure thatmy trailerfeaturesaclearbuild-upof
tension,lotsof actionandjumpscares to drawin
the target audience. Imustalsoensure thatthe
otherpiecesof mypromotional package reflect
the fearthe filmwill generate.Thistellsme that
my audience crave fearandunexpectedhorror
so I mustprovide this.

mustattemptto make my filmmagazine
unique andensure itappealstoa wider
teenage audiencesothattheywill purchase
my magazine.
4. The final questionaskedrespondentswhichmade
trailersthe mosteffective.Asexpected,JumpScares
was the mostpopularanswer,with80% choosing
JumpScares.Music, Fast Cutsand Actionwere also
common.I will ensure thatthese 4featureswill be
usedefficientlyinmytrailer. Thishasshownme that
the maintensionbuilderswithintrailersare the
mostimportantfeaturesof a trailertomy audience.
I will use these particularfeaturesthroughoutthe
whole of mytrailerandbuilditup slowly.
