JERP Jamnagar.
Fabrication of flare lines (102”, 96”, 72”, and 84”) in JERP.
Fabrication of spools for process and utility lines in JERP.
Responsible for quality checking of IBR and non IBR lines including fit up checking and NDT in JERP.
Conduction first pneumatic testing of flare lines in JERP Jamnagar to examine the behavior of lines during valve pop.
Erection in charge for 35000 IM erection of OSBL IBR piping in JERP.
Responsible for loop clearances of OSBL IBR piping including hydro test in JERP.
New fabrication yard set up in coordination with L&T and B&R and achieved record fabrication in a single month in JERP.

Major projects
Enhancements of COPERION make extruder capacity from 14TPH to 22TPH. Enhance included following sub
activities
Increasing of speed of gear box from 189/226 RPM to 226/252RPM. It also includes replacement of
spur gears with helical gears.
Increasing the size of barrels so that more polymers can be passed between screw and barrel.
Replacing the older screen pack changer with new one having modified hydraulic circuit and 2
accumulators in parallel.
Replacement of old start up valve with new increased capacity start up valve and hydraulic
arrangement.
Erection and commissioning of new separate hot oil unit having 2 magna drive SPECK make pumps
separately for start up valve and SPC.
Setting up a new fabrication yard in OSBl plant of JERP Jamnagr in coordination with L&T and Bridge & Roof
to speed up the fabrication and erection process of IBR/Non IBR piping. Project included following activities
Fabrication,erection and commissioning of IBR lines and other process lines in OSBL plant of
JERP (Jamnagar export refinery Projects).
Fabrication of IBR piping (42”, 36”, 24”, 12”) by setting up a new fabrication yard to speed up the
erection process at JERP Jamnagar.

07.2009 - 09.2009: Found Root Cause of Repetitive Belt burning incident of Root blower and Reciprocating compressor by
calculating and verifying the number of belts installed for power transmission as well as identifying less than adequate

09.2008 - 12.2008: Found Root Cause of a Root Blower developing low differential pressure in comparison to its stand by
Blower by drilling down maintenance history of Blower and studying Pressure Performance Curve of Blower.
Project – Turnaround RIL-NMD, Apr’2010
04.2010 - 06.2010: Worked exclusively for Fixed and Floating head exchangers in shutdown of PP Plant in Apr’2010.This job
included cleaning, inspection (Hydro jetting, chemical cleaning) and Hydro test of all exchangers of PP Plant. Job was
successfully and safely executed in coordination with C&I department and crane section.
01.2010 - 03.2010: Worked as dedicated Turnaround engineer for the PP mechanical department, prepared job pack for static
jobs, identified material for MOC/ Miscellaneous job execution in TA and raised PR for the same.
Did Job planning for Turnaround, and prepared bar charts for all the jobs after identifying the quantum of man power required.
Also, prepared service PR after quantifying the job, resources and material.
03.2009 - 03.2010: Worked as Turnaround Coordinator for all the departments in Apr' 2010 Turnaround of the Polypropylene
plant, taking care of various interfaces between the departments. This job included preparation of common job list, various
estimations like workforce, accommodation, Crane availability, transportation etc.
01.2009: Enhancement of Coperion made extruder from 14TPH to 22TPH. It included complete replacement of extruder gear
