Brief Description- My 5 years work experience encompasses Thermal Power Project, Oil & gas and
Fire Fighting Piping, Oil Tank Modification Projects which involves Turbuine, Generator and
Auxiliary Equipment, Low Pressure Piping, Critical Pressure Piping, Tank Modification and Hyrdrant
Piping, Maintenance and Erection Job profile. My job profile belongs to technical & Managerial
functions.

PROJECT Tank Modification Project at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Jaipur
(Rajasthan) WORK EXPERIENCE
 Preparation of schedule of technical and field activity of project.Ensuring the availability of
material, required tools & tackles and the execution of job as per job specifications and
project schedule.
 Maintenance of Tanks and Pipeline of petroleum product conducted when defect observed
at pipe, welded joints, flange connections and various auxilliaries in the pipeline. Also,
consider the life span of pipeline and get it replaced when needed.
 Execution and inspection of Hydro-Testing“which is performed to determine the strength of
material, welded joints and leak proofness of joints” and Roof Floating Test of Oil
(Petroleum product) Tanks.
 Tank Modification Job involves activities like making a hole in Tank Pontoon then welding a
sleeve pipe with Pontoon.Now, pontoon leakage detection test conducted and a pipe
installed through the sleeve Pipe vertically upto tank height by fixing it from tank shell wall
through supporting structure at top and bottom of tank. There is arrangement of various
nozzle at top of pipe flange on which sensing gauges installed.
 Knowledge of analysing and conducting inspection of First Angle Drawing.
 Experienced with the preparation cum maintenance of welders performance qualification
record. Familiar with and hands on with most measuring/inspection tools.

 Record Keeping and inspection of Quality of shot blasting “which is performed to produce
clean and abrasive surface”, painting of pipe, Joint Fit-Up of lap-joint, butt-joint, SMAW
Welding and Dye Penetration Test which is performed at first-run of welding in order to
detect the surface defect of welding as per standard specifications provided.
 Preparing & Raising Material Supply & Erection bill Invoice to client and get it approved for
clearance.

WORK EXPERIENCE
 Management of resources for unhindered work progress and execution of technical & field
activities at site as per standard specifications and Project schedule.
 Hydrant Piping Job (above ground) involves activities like erection and welding of Pipe on
pedestals which connect the water tank to pupms.To control the flow through pipeline
various valves installed on pipe.
 Ensure the fulfilment of duties of contractor as per contractor and work progress as per
project schedule and standard specification.
 There is also responsibility of ensuring labour welfare, material availability, record keeping
and preparing & raising material supply & erection bill Invoice to client.
 Inspection of Quality of Shot Blasting and Painting of Pipe, Joint Fit-Up Butt- Joint, SMAW
Welding and Dye Penetration Test which is conducted to detect the surface defect of
welding as per specification provided.
 Installation & Dismantling of Gate Valves, NRV, Water Monitor Double Hydrant, and Jockey
Pump.
 The valve and pipeline connected by flange and welded connection. Prior installation,
properly clean the mating surface of flanges then insert the gasket in order to achieve the
leak proof connection otherwise the possibility of leakage is very high.
 HPCL Depot terminal Pipeline Maintenance works performed when defect observed at pipe,
welding joints, flange connection and various auxilliaries in the pipeline.Also, consider the
life of pipeline and get it replaced when needed.
 Hydrant Piping (under ground) job involves Holiday Testing of Wrapping of Pipe “which
determine that there is no air gap between wrap material and pipe” and Hydro-Testing of
Pipe “which is executed to determine the strength of material, welded joints and leak
proofness of joints”prior laying it under the ground which is connected to the ends of pipe
above ground.
 Casting (Civilwork) of Foundations of pumps, Pedestals of pipeline.

Turbine.
 Execution and inspection of grouting of Bearing Pedestal and Auxiliaries as per specification
provided by Manufacturer of grout cement and Quality documents.
 Inspection of Bottom Plate, TSP, Sidewall, Hot well, Water Chamber, Water box and Dome
wall Erection, Alignment, Fit-Up, and Weld Visual of condensate system.
 Preparation of Erection schedule of L.P Piping, H.P Piping, auxilliary equipment, Turbine and
Generator and conducting various inspection of Erection.
 Knowledge of analysing and conducting inspection of First Angle Drawing. Familiar with and
hands on with most measuring/inspection tools.
 Fit-up Inspection of Joints in-process stage with respect to visual, dimensional and
orientation compliance as per the approved drawings and specifications.
 Welding inspection and familiar with most of the Welding Processes like SMAW, GTAW,

 OBJECTIVE : To compensate the effect of blind angle during steering.
 Components used : Optical encoder, microcontroller, stepper motor, gears, control
boards.
 Mechanism used : Optical sensors precisely measure the steering wheel rotation and
transfer the same in Micro controller, which process the input data and give output in
accordance with theProgram and actuate the stepper motor which attached with gears and
