 I am working in Mechanical Maintenance (production) department of PAKISTAN PETROLEUM
LIMITED (E & P Company), as “Senior Mechanical Technician/supervisor” since May 2013 at
kandhkot Gas field at production/process plant (Dehydration Processing Plant of 360 MMSCFD
capacity), piping and Power House.
WORKING EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
PAKISTAN PETROLEUM LIMITED
 Preventive Maintenance/Troubleshooting of CATERPILLAR GAS ENGINE G3508-500KW,
WAUKESHA P48GSI-625KW Gas Engine & KOMATSU 162 kW which are installed for power
Generation for plant and camp.
 Supervised top end overhauling of CAT G 3508, Waukesha P48GSI GAS ENGINES.
 Worked on plate type and “shell & tube type” Heat Exchangers of GAS ENGINES.
 Maintenance of power house cooling towers.
 Installation, alignment, maintenance and assembling of cooling tower water circulation centrifugal

approved plant, piping or engines maintenance/inspection/fabrication/ works required.

SHUT DOWN ACTIVITIES
 I have supervised & participated in shut down of Natural Gas Tri Ethylene Glycol Dehydration
plant of 140 MMSCFD capacity in 2013 and 100 MMCFD capacity in 2016 at kandhkot Gas Field.
 Following activities were done during shutdown/annual turn around.
 Heat exchanger dismantled, heat exchanger was checked leakage test, and heat exchanger tubes
were cleaned with copper brush.
 Bubble cap trays of 12 storeys were dismantled and cleaned and fitted back.
 Demister pads were dismantled and serviced and fitted back.
 Contactor tower was flushed with heavy water pressure and carbon was cleaned hence.
 Reboiler tubes were dismantled and cleaned carbon inside.
 Hydro testing carried out of heat exchanger tube.
 Still column also serviced while Paul rings cleaned.
 Glycol filters and charcoal filters also replaced with new ones.
 Upstream and downstream PECO/Scrubber filters elements replaced with new ones.
 Conditioning tower was also serviced and H2S remover sulpha treat was charged with fresh sulpha
treat.
 These were 15 days activities of shut down and plant was put on stream after shut down
SUI NORTHERN GAS PIPELINES LIMITED
Have worked in Sui northern Gas pipe lines ltd Pakistan at Transmission HQ Faisalabad as SUB
ENGINEER compression (Mechanical Maintenance) from October 2005 to may 2013.
 Handled preventive and predictive maintenance/troubleshooting of centaur gas turbines
 Saturn, centaur T45 (4500 HP), centaur T47 (4700 HP), Saturn (11 HP) of SOLAR USA.
 Handled maintenance of auxiliary components of turbines like fuel control valves, seal and lube oil
pumps, actuators and pneumatic motors etc.
 Handled the preventive and predictive maintenance/troubleshooting of centaur Gas booster
 Centrifugal GAS compressors C-16 and c-304 and skill of compressor to power Turbine alignment.
 Handled the overhauling and restaging of C-16 and C-304 centrifugal gas compressors.
 Handled the maintenance/troubleshooting of water pumps, acid and chemical dosing
pumps, cooling tower, air/water cooled heat exchangers set for cooling of natural Gas
after Compression.
 Handled the preventive maintenance & troubleshooting of MAN 300kw and Dorman Gas
Engines 300 kW.
