3. Introduction
Definition-
 A shampoo is a preparation of a surfactant(i.e)surface
active material, in a suitable form liquid solid or powder –
which when used under the specified scalp without
adversely affecting the user.
 They are used for removed of oils, dandruff, dirt
environmental pollution, etc

 Conditioning
 Hair growth
 Maintenance of hair colour
 To remove excess sebum ,desquamate corneocytes
environmental pollution
 to remove off previously applied hair styling gel, hair
care products, oils, lotion

 Neem leaves powder………150g
 Shikakai powder…………….10g
preparation – Mix all ingredients thoroughly
when needed soak 2table
spoon in cup of water and
apply to hair

9. Orange Shampoo
preparation for 200g
 Methi ……………230g
 Shikakai………..10g
 Orange peels ……10g
 Preparation-
crush all the ingredients into powder form.
when needed 2 table spoons in cup of
water and apply to hair

10. Herbal conditioner
Definition
conditioner that adds shine to the hair and
make it tangle free. After shampooing
Its Important to use hair condition to give increased
Manageability to hair leaving it soft and shiny
The first and foremost purpose of conditioner is to
moisturise the hair and scalp.

 Smooth easy combing in both wet and dry
hair
 A reduction in the static electricity caused
by combing and brushing dry hair
 The enhancement of the gloss, lustre to the
hair

 Almond oil…………..5g
Preparation - soak dry Amal pieces in water and
leave for overnight. Use this water for the rinse
after we have washed our hair.
