WE „HEART‟ VISITORS – In February, we celebrate love on Valentine‟s Day. At Our Saviour, we always celebrate
the love of God that brought Jesus to suffer and die for our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him. Please let us
know you were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the hymnal rack) with today‟s date, your name, address, phone
number, etc. Please come and worship with us again!
CHILDREN WELCOME – The nursery and Sunday School are in session today. Toddlers to age 3 are welcome to the
Nursery; children age 4 to grade 6 are welcome to attend Sunday School (registration forms can be found in the office
hallway). The nursery is located in the basement; SS children go to class after the Children‟s Message. Childrens‟
bulletins, for ages 3-6 and 7-12, can be found on the counter in the Narthex. For assistance, please talk to an usher.
2. SANCTITY OF LIFE SUNDAY – Today‟ message provides a time to remember that all life is sacred and our loving
God can forgive all sins. Lutherans for Life (LFL) has provided brochures for you to take and share with anyone in need
including a brochure with an envelope for donations to support LFL and to become a member, if desired. This
information can be found on the table near the Welcome Center.
LENT IS A TIME FOR LEARNING – As your pastors prepare a special Lenten mid-week sermon series, you are
encouraged to attend worship twice a week…on Sunday and Thursday for the special Lenten worship. On February 17,
we celebrate Ash Wednesday. Services with the Lord‟s Supper will be held at 12:15 and 7pm. Due to this special
service, there will be no Thursday worship services on February 18.
ALTAR GUILD MEETING – Members of the Altar Guild will meet on Monday, February 15 at 6:30 pm in the
Sacristy. If you are interested in joining the Altar Guild, please contact Jill Proulx at 465-1437.
YOUTH NIGHT – For youth in grades 6-12…Please join us this week Wednesday beginning at 3:30 pm. A $3 donation
is requested for a meal served around 5:15 pm. Grade 6 leaves at 6pm when grades 7 and 8 go to Confirmation. Grades
9-12 are welcome to stay until Confirmation ends at 7:30 pm. On Ash Wednesday (2/17), there is no Confirmation class
and youth night will end at 7pm so that everyone can attend the service. Questions? Ask Pastor Greg…greg@oslc-gb.org
PORTALS OF PRAYER – The January-March issue of Portals of Prayer is now available on the counter in the Narthex.
A limited number of the large print version is available in the office.
GET YOUR PIZZA TODAY – If you ordered pizza from the Youth, please pick it up in the gym after service. If you
forgot to order, stop in the gym and see what is available. A few extra Take and Bake pizzas will be ready for purchase.
Don’t put a question mark where God puts a period.
CHOIR ON TUESDAY – Choir practice for Lent and Easter has begun again. Come Tuesday evenings at 7pm. Want to
join? Contact Judy O‟Grady or the church office…or just come on Tuesday!
DON‟T FORGET – Check the Member-to-Member board when you come to church. There are new items from
members added all the time! Maybe you can help someone or change a life today!
OPEN GYM AT OSLC! – Join members and friends of OSLC for an evening of basketball. Starting on February 14,
Open Gym will held on Sundays starting at 6:30pm until around 8:30pm. Come as you are able! If you have questions,
please contact Denny Steinmann at (920) 826-2007.
PRESCHOOL – Registration for the 2010-11 school year is underway. Come to the church office for a Registration
Packet. Classes include a new MWF (8:30-11:30) program for 4-year-olds and a T-TH session for 3-year-olds from 8:30-
10:30am. We hope to fill the T-TH morning session and also offer an afternoon class from 12:30-2:30pm (a minimum
number of students are needed to run any class offered). If you have neighbors and friends looking for a school for their
child, please ask them to call us at 468-3596; we would love to share our programs with them.
BAD GIRLS STUFF – If you were involved in the Bad Girls Bible study, I have a treat for you. Liz Curtis Higgs sent
goodies for those who read the book (even those who never got to a meeting). See Stephenie or stop by the office.
SODA DONATIONS ACCEPTED – Cans of Coke and Pepsi products are again requested for the monthly Fish Fry.
Regular, diet and caffeine-free (both regular and diet) are needed. All donations are appreciated.
IT‟S FISH FRY FRIDAY – Want a delicious meal at a great price? One that comes with fellowship and fun? Come to
OSLC on February 12 OSLC for fish and more. Fish Fry schedules are available at the Welcome Center.
DO YOU MAKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC? – The Praise Band sure does and they‟re looking for new members. Guitar
and male vocalists are a high priority; drums and bass players also needed. Please contact Marlys Brunsting at 883-8869.

to church with the cap on. Also collecting used cell phones for local domestic abuse victims and „Cells for Soldiers‟.
Containers for your donations are in the office hallway by the coat rack. We are also still collecting non-perishable food
items. Next month we will begin collecting personal and cleaning items for the March for the Homeless campaign.
PAPER HANGER – Edges of our wallpaper in the Atrium are coming loose. Do you have the skills and the industrial
glue to do the job? If you can help, please contact Michelle in the office at 468-4065.
IT‟S GIRLS‟ NIGHT – As supporters of NEW Lutheran High School, our entire church membership is invited to be
special guests at no charge (just tell them you are from Our Saviour) for the NEWLHS Girls‟ Basketball games on Feb 11
(6pm-JV; 7:30pm-V). Redeemer and Trinity Lutheran students will play a short game at half-time of the Varsity game
and the 'A' girl's Redeemer/Trinity basketball team will be introduced. Join us for fun, fellowship and some great games.
CHILI CHALLENGE! – Come on February 12 to NEWLHS for chili and hearty bread at our annual chili challenge;
you can vote on the best chili (OSLC has an entry this year so come on and support this great cause). Take-out from 1-8
pm; dine in from 4-8 pm. Watch the NEWLHS boys play Southern Door at 4:30pm, 6pm and 7:30pm.
AN AMAZING OFFER – Camp Luther has offered four free Camperships to Our Saviour. The Camperships are
provided through their „Every Kid to Camp‟ program to attend Youth Camp or Beaver Creek Camp. Any child grades in
grades 3-8 who has not been to summer camp at Camp Luther before is eligible. If you would like to win one of
these Camperships, please see Donna Biebel for a form. Winners will be randomly drawn from all submissions received.
LIFE QUOTE – “It may not always be true in the sports world, but for the Christian, „chastity‟ and „champion‟ do go
together. God makes us champions through Jesus Christ. Champions can make good decisions that honor God.
Champions can make good decisions that honor others. Champions can be a positive influence and bring change within
the Church and into society. Chastity! It is the choice of champions.” Rev. Dr. James I Lamb, executive director of
Lutherans for Life This “Life Quote” is from Lutherans for Life www.lutheransforlife.org
