2. Feedback
• From my feedback I can see that there are certain
aspects of my Poster that need to be changed.
The following slides will highlight what the
feedback was, what I have changed and how this
will benefit my media product
• As my draft version of the poster was a picture
taken from the computer screen the quality is low.
However it is the only record I have of the draft
photo so I have to use it to show my changes.
3. One
The feedback I got was to change the
text which was at the bottom left of the
image as it was difficult to read. I did this
by adding a shadow to the text so that it
stood out more. It's not something that is
completely obvious when you look at it,
but it does make a difference as you can
see the writing clearer which makes it
easier to read. This is beneficial for my
poster as it is more understandable for
the audience.
As I don’t have a large photo of my first
draft poster it appears to be blurry when
I have enlarged it to show the specific
part I have changed. However, you can
still see that the writing is clearer as you
can’t even see the word “including” in
the first picture.

4. Two
I also had to change the style of the bottom
quarter of the page. Originally I had a black
box with the words "Out 24th July" as well
as the "available on iTunes" logo. I was told
to change the font as it didn't go well with
the other fonts. Here you can see the font I
have changed to is thinner and doesn’t
stand out as much so it doesn't draw to
much attention away from the artists name.
In addition to this, the bottom part took up
too much room and so I had to make it
smaller, along with decreasing the font size.
This allowed the main focus of my poster to
remain on the artists and ensured that I
didn't attract too much attention away from
that.

5. Three
I was also told the "available on
iTunes" logo looked too plain on its
own. So I added in two other logos
which were "Spotify" and "Amazon
music". This made the poster look
more informative as it tells the
audience where to buy the music from.
It also promotes how popular the artist
is as they are selling their music on a
variety of platforms. In addition to this it
conforms to conventions of typical
posters e.g Lana Del Ray who is also
an indie-pop genre artist. This is the
poster from which I took the idea of
having the bottom segment.
