During filming of their project, they faced difficulties coordinating the actresses' schedules which meant scenes were sometimes missing key characters. To solve this, they had actress playing Sabeya record her lines separately with gaps to later insert the lines of the actress playing Yasmin. When editing, their group faced challenges sharing opinions when not all were present and having to share the editing Mac with another group. They solved this by scheduling editing sessions when all could attend and by storing their work on a portable hard drive to edit on other computers.
2. DIFFICULTIES DURING FILMING
AND HOW WE SOLVED THEM
During filming we did have some difficulties with timing and people attending
when filming. Some of the reasons why is due to working filming around the
actress’s because they had other work to do as well. This meant that if one of the
characters could not attend then we had not much to film. Also our main characters
that is Sabeya who plays the forensic and Yasmin who plays the detective have a
conversation and both of them have to attend for it.
The way we solved this matter is if one of the characters were not in present e.g.
Yasmin the we will film sabeya saying all her lines with 2 second gaps in between
each line and we will edit them together to when Yasmin is present.
3. DIFFICULTIES DURING EDITING
AND HOW WE SOLVED THEM
When editing we did have difficulties because in our group if one of us is busy then
we cant get everybody's opinion on what looks better, usually we sit together and edit and
point out what would look better and how to improve it and share our ideas. Also the
mac we worked on we would have to share with another group from the other class and
this would affect use because that means we couldn’t edit.
The way we solved this was by schedule a time were everyone could attend filming,
also we put all our work onto a portable hard drive which then helped us edit on other
macs.
