2. Director
• Mariam Nawab, 18:
• I nominated myself to be Director as I am
extremely organised and I felt that I could
handle the job appropriately. As I have not
studied Media before, I felt that I should
challenge myself and gain a new experience.
Also, I felt as though I work better as a
leader, as I have good quality natural
leadership skills which helps when there is
a group that needs to be pushed about. This
has most definitely helped me through being
a Director, as if I did not have leadership
skills, I would have found it very hard to be
a Director.
3. Camera Person
• Chloe Wakeling, 16:
• Chloe nominated herself to be
Camera person because of the fact
that she wanted to experience being
it. She felt that she is able to hold a
camera and use it right. She has
the initiative to think ahead about
what shots we should use whilst
filming and in the end, after editing,
the shots and the entire filming
paid off. In addition, she has the
balance and ability to handle and
use a camera. This helped the
production team thoroughly whilst
filming, and also the Editor, after
filming.
4. Editor
• Ruheet Hasnath, 16:
• Ruheet nominated himself as the Editor
as he also wanted a new experience. He
felt that he could do a good job of editing
as he has the skills cutting something
long, short. He was there during the
production, though he was not needed,
to get an idea of what is being shot,
which shots are used and which are not
to be used whilst editing. Moreover, he
had a good idea of what sounds were
needed after production, for our movie to
be completed. Overall, his editing did
pay off in the end as he chose the right
sounds and used the right shots.
5. Actors: Carl
• Carl Caperina, 16:
• Carl was chosen to be the main actor,
protagonist Percy, because we thought
that he looked and sounded suitable for
the job. His voice is deep and his body
is tall and his body posture and look is
very muscular which was what our
production needed. He is also a good
actor and can give different expressions
and body language in different
situations. He did a brilliant job of
acting as he did not hesitate at all and
acted appropriately.
6. Actors: Raman
• Raman Bahra, 16:
• Raman was chosen to be Percy’s
(Carl) Boss as he had the look of
someone tough, though he is not as
tough as he looks. He was chosen as
he was a tall, thin man that had a
harsh face on him that would scare
or warn people away. This was our
general requirement, to get an actor
that would give the audience a shock
and fascination as he’s not the type
that would play a role like this.
7. Coldblood Productions
• The above slides show the members of the
production team, of them, three are
members of the organisation running the
production.
