1. How successfully do you think your
blog details the research, planning
and construction stages of your
music video?
2. Overall I think my group as come a very long way from where we started in
September, this demotivated us for a while but then was a wake up call for us
to push ourselves and do better.
RESEARCH:
• In terms of research, this was probably my weakest point as we were so
behind as group with picking a song and sticking to it this gave us less time
to do through research as we felt we had to rush to film our music video
and making use of the days to film. So research behind our genre and
artist was pretty basic, I feel like I personally pushed this aside at the time
as I didn't’t have time and wanted to get into the filming aspect.
PLANNING:
• As for planning this was probably our strongest point as group. We
planned everything in depth, for example where we were meeting, what
our artist would be wearing on that day, what we would be filming,
location, weather and transport checks. Everything was carefully planned
out so we knew exactly what we would be doing on this day = positive
outcome as it made things flow quickly and as planned!
CONSTRUCTION:
• As a group and even individually I think our construction was average but
we still achieved our aim. We didn't’t focus much on taking pictures and
thought it would be best to record what we believed was necessary and
relevant. So we only took pictures and made behind the scenes video of
what we thought was worth our time and appropriate and what we
thought we’d like to see if this was from our favorite artist.
3. How happy are you with your
individual blogging so far?
4. I’m quite happy with my blogging so far but there's
always room for improvement, and I think they
improvement lays with me using more media
programs.
I roughly have about 73 blogs and this is includes
having a mixture of my own blogs, extra things I
thought would be relevant, and ones that I followed
off the blogging check list. Blogging out of the
checklist is also a target I set myself as I wanted to
be more creative with my blogs.
5. Which is the blog post you are most
proud of? Which post do you wish
you’d put more time and effort in to?
6. Honestly, I don’t think there is one post that I am the most
proud of. This is because a lot of my most creative and best
idea’s/posts is ones which I came up with my group. I'm
probably most happy with the outcome of our work and the
fact that each one of us did what was expected from us. We
each had a task or role we had to fulfill during our time filming
and I’m most proud to say that individually I did this to the
best of my ability; whether it be me doing the camera work
for the day, filming behind the scenes on the flip cam, taking
pictures or posting blogs.
You can see that there is a HUGE difference between my
recent posts and the blogging posts that I did at the start. I
wish I put more time and effort into these posts because it’s
very obvious that I rushed them, I didn’t use any form of
media programs, I just wrote chunks of information and
posted pictures which isn’t even appealing.
