1. REFLECTIVE DIARY

2. WEEK 1
• For this first week our goal was to create an audience profile and in
depth audience research.
• We split our group into sections, my task was to focus on the audience
profile which I finished before schedule and was able to move onto
generic audience research.
• Next week the target will be to look at our ident ideas.

3. WEEK 2
• This week the goal was to begin the planning and idea generation for
our idents, at first we struggled with this task as we werent completely
sure on what we were supposed to be creating. We did loads of research
into previous idents; mostly e4 and adult swim. We came up with many
ideas which were very similar to previous made ones when we decided
on a design which we felt was more modernised and fitting with our
target audience

4. WEEK3&4
• My week 3 and 4 were more of a blur merged into one. For the third
week I had what I can only presume was covid and was in bed for a large
majority not getting much work done. The first day of week 4 I decided
to try and go into college after a negative pcr and I focused the day on
planning the ident still as I was still not completely sure what I was
supposed to be focusing on and felt very out of the loop. But after
deciding I still wasn’t at my best and feeling lackluster and dragged
down with covid I remained at home for the rest of the week. This made
the eventual production a lot harder as at home I have very limited
resources and access to programs. Our modernised idea was to create a
projection of an instagram story; however since I wasn’t able to access
photoshop or AE I had to create a literal instagram story to be able to
create the ident, rather than a mere replica/projection

5. WEEK 5
• This week was mainly catching up with the group on stuff I had missed.
Alongside this I focused on selecting images which I wanted to recreate.
I also began work on the content pitch.

6. WEEK 6
• For this week I focused on the first half of my images. I grabbed the
photos of the sites near me and began editing them with the past
photos. For the edits for these I focused mainly on just gradient overlays.
I liked the way the ended up however there isnt too many variations for
what is possible to create.

7. WEEK 7
• For week 7 I took my images within town ; the shambles and lord
mayors. I used different edit styles for these images. Focused more on
taking individual parts from one images to another while still using a
gradient overlay in different areas. My plan going forwards into the
week is to create my Hockney style photo of the fish shop in huntington

8. WEEK 8
• The main goal for work today (26th) was to complete the collage work of
the Huntington Fish shop, although it wasn’t completely to the style of
David Hockney it was inspired and I think the inspiration is clear and I
like the way in which it had turned out.
• The second goal was to begin work on my evaluation and to get as
much done so that I can use the time next week to get other stuff done
and up to date, however I didn’t get much of the evaluation powerpoint
finished.

9. WEEK 9
The final week I spent mostly plowing through the evaluation powerpoint. I
got it done to an extent where there is at least a small paragraph for each
box. The first half of the week was spent making the adobe spark website
for the presentation of my work rather than the instagram page.
