Hippie [hip-ee]
   • A Hippie is a person, especially of the late
   1960s, who has rejected established values for
        an alternative culture of their own.
  • The movement originally started as a youth
    subculture In San Francisco, California, Then
    spread across the United States and parts of
                       Europe.
 • Hippies were inspired by the likes of Buddha,
             Henry David and Gandhi.
Characteristics :
          • Free-loving
• Often experiment with drugs
       • Peace (anti war)
        • Flower power
           • Long hair
      • Colourful clothes
      • Music orientated
• Belief in living simply (nature)
