classroom having different abilities individually. So it is essential for the teacher to
understand the different habits, ideas, interests, attitudes and needs at different
levels of growth and development.

The learning of students is based upon the methods of teaching. For example;
history taught effectively by the story telling method. So learning in classroom
depends upon the teacher’s knowledge about the interest of student and

The course of a particular degree or programme is set by the teachers knowledge
of psychology proves helpful to select the content for different levels. The needs
and scope of particular subject is also kept in account while formulation of
curriculum.

teaching and learning activities in classroom. Mental health has direct impact on
learning process of student. There are different causes of mental illness. The
teacher must know these causes to regulate the learning process of the students.

A teacher has to play different roles in school such as guide philosopher and
leader. Guidance is type of assistance which enables the students to solve their
problems themselves. The knowledge of psychology enables the teacher to

Teaching and testing are two important activities which have to be performed by
the teacher in the classroom. The activity testing help to measure learning
outcomes of the student. To know that how much they learned? And how mush
effective the teaching method is?
