• What common features do the researched products
have?
– All of the products I have research are to do with
skateboarding. These magazines follow common
conventions within a magazine. All of these magazines
have a similar layout with the masthead at the top and the
subheadings are around the main image so they don’t
draw attention away from it.
• What aspects of the research will you include within
your on work? I will be using a similar layout to all of these
magazines as they are clear and simple for the viewer. I will be
using the same convention where the masthead covers the
top part of the magazine to be eye catching for the viewers.
