2. Existing Product
This book cover is similar to my idea that I had in mind because it has the same overall colour
palette and also the same romantic tone that it holds. It has all the correct tones that I want in
my idea.
The book cover uses natural colours with a hint of red hues. The way that the couple is posed
on the cover gives off romantic, lusty love vibes. My book cover will have similar amounts of
text that this cover holds also.
3. Existing Product
This book cover is similar to my own because the dark red hues are kind of the ones that I want
to input into my design. The contrast that is in this cover would also be similar.
This cover shows a kind of dangerous scene as the blood on the hook really sets the atmosphere
for the book. With the cover being from a thriller book, the cover’s art really sets that scene and
almost makes the viewer think of what’s going to happen in the book. The lighting in the shot make
the thriller setting comes to life.
4. Existing Product
This cover is like my own because it holds the same
romantic vibe that I am wanting to have in my
cover, with the couple posed like that.
The book cover uses natural cool toned colours.
The way that the couple is posed on the cover
gives off romantic, love vibes. This cover also is set
in a nature setting. The font used is kind of
sophisticated and sets the mood accordingly.
This cover would make the audience viewing it
want to read more as the romantic vibes really
show throughout. This would make the viewer
more curious and want to read the blurb on the
back, then open the book.
5. Existing Product
This cover is like my own because it holds the same
romantic vibe that I am wanting to have in my
cover, with the red hues used.
The book cover uses light red contrasted colours.
The way that the lady is posed on the cover gives
off lonely, yet sophisticated vibes. This cover also is
set in a home setting. The font used is posh and
sets the tone accordingly.
This cover would also make the audience viewing it
want to read more as the romantic vibes really
show throughout. This would make the viewer
more curious and want to read the blurb on the
back, then open the book.
