2. • This trailer clearly adheres to the conventions of a teen drama as its
main location is in a high school, one of the most important conventions
of a teen drama. This would be easy for us to base our film on as we also
have access to a school setting. The school setting enables the target
audience to relate.
• This trailer also includes some icongrophary which would connote it’s
a teen drama and would relate to the audience, for example, when the
girl is in the car, which could represent that teenagers are reckless and
put of control.
• Some of the trailer is also filmed in the teens bedroom, which is
appropriate as stereotypically, teenagers spend most of their time in
their bedrooms.
3. • There is clear branding between the poster
and the film as firstly, the same typography is
used in both the poster and the trailer.
• In addition, the colours are similar in both
products, vibrant and bright, to reflect the
genre, and to suggest youthfulness and
innocence.
• The slogan ‘we are infinite’ is used
throughout and is a good way of marketing as
it is short and snappy, but easily memorable.
• A conventional narrative is made clear in
both posters, as the girl is leaning on the boys
shoulder, implying that perhaps they are love
interests.
