What Have I Learnt From The audience
Feedback I received On Our Music Video?

The Initial Audience Reaction To
The Screening !
• At First, as a group we were left wondering when our video will be played and
to be truthful we had concerns over whether the video will actually be played.
Despite our worries we were informed that our video was placed last on the
queue as the teachers felt it would leave a lasting impression on everyone for a
successful day. The reaction we received from the audience was something out
of this world and we received a standing ovation for our work.
• We then knew that we would be collecting feedback from our target audience
and college members outside and nervously anticipated their comments now
that all videos were already played.
• Despite receiving a warm reaction to the video and a few cheers we still had
doubts about the strength of our video so we all made ways outside to prepare
some questions which will really highlight the audiences thoughts on our video.
The Strengths Our Target Audience
Outlined !
•

Our target audience didn't’t really have much weaknesses to give us to think about
however in terms of strengths, you could say we were surrounded by
compliments. The section at the beginning of the video was ‘’ immaculate ’’
according to Tasia however this was not the main strength, in fact they illustrated
how the timing of the rose scene was actually perfect as we used it in the
beginning. The rose was a symbol of giving life to our music video.

•

Kevin highlighted to us the fact that our camera movement was perfect and the
editing of the visual elements of the music video was in sync with the sound
elements. In other words they enjoyed the way the video went in accordance to
the beat of the music video.
The Improvements Our Target
Audience Outlined !
•

In terms of improvements, we didn't’t have much to work on however some
members of the target audience separately outlined that our video would look
much more professional with a better efficient filter. This was something we
agreed upon as we previously had a big worrying query over what filter to use. I
have along with my group acted upon feedback previously from our rough cut of
the video and the fact that we haven't been criticized for specific improvements
for the final product shows that we acted upon the initial thoughts on
improvements by target audiences successfully.
