spoke to therefore African Americans were more likely to listen and follow what King had to say.
King was a leader because he challenged the status quo. He had the courage to stand up for what he
believed, the rights of all people to fair and equal treatment.
Compare leadership styles Perhaps King's leadership style is a bit ambitious for one to achieve. The

In 2007 Faith Hill took over as the signature voice of NFL on NBC's Sunday Night Football, singing
the theme song. Faith Hill also sang the theme for Sunday Night Football that airs on the NBC
network. The song is called "Waiting All Week For Sunday Night". She will be heard on Aretha
Franklin's upcoming album, A Woman Falling Out of Love, planned to be released in 2009.
Annie Lennox is working with Faith Hill and twenty–two other female artists to raise the awareness
of the transmission of HIV to unborn children in Africa. "Sing", which Hill collaborated on, was
released on World Aids Day on December 1, 2007, when Lennox appeared at the next Nelson
Mandela 46664 concert in South Africa.

Luther King Jr 's I Have A Dream speech was broadcasted across the nation and heard by millions of
Americans on August 28, 1963. Throughout the decades, many have promoted the importance of
racial equality in America. Leaders such as William J. Clinton, Barack Obama, and George W. Bush
have contributed to modern social movements by, doing as Dr. King himself, giving speeches to
varying audiences concerning the issue of racial inequality. Above all, Martin Luther King Jr made
the strongest argument advocating racial equality in America because his speech remains well–
organized and formatted, incorporates a variety of allusions, and emcompasses an engaging use of
figurative language. To begin with, Martin Luther King Jr made the most powerful argument
regarding racial equality because his speech remains well–organized and formatted from its
beginning to its end. King organizes his speech in a way that makes it easier for his audience to
follow along and have lasting thoughts of his words. The first half of I Have A Dream describes the
American ordeal of racial injustice. During the second half of his speech, Martin Luther King Jr
paints a picture of America's future, a racial harmony. As he stated, "I have a dream that one day on

Case Study : Bruno Mars ' Debut Album
Doo–Wops & Hooligans is Bruno Mars ' debut album which was released on the 4th of October,
2010. The album contains several hit tracks with varied arrangements from reggae to R&B. It
garnered Grammy Award nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album in 2012
while Rolling Stone referred to it as "the year 's finest pop debut: 10 near–perfect songs." Although
majority of the album tracks were composed by The Smeezingtons, of which Bruno Mars is also a
member, some tracks were also products of collaboration with other artists and record producers
including Needlz for "Just the Way You Are." As Bruno Mars puts it during his interview with Pete
Lewis,
"Well, 'doo–wop' is a very special word for me", explains an ever–personable Mr. Mars: "Because I
grew up listening to my dad who, as a Fifties rock & roll head, loved doo–wop music. Plus, doo–
wop, again, is very SIMPLE! You know, I could get a guitar, play you just four chords, and sing a
thousand doo–wop songs! Because they come from a time back in the day when there were no
TRICKS! You just needed a beautiful melody, you needed a beautiful voice, and you needed to

Martin Luther King Speech Analysis
Throughout Martin Luther King Jr's. speech, he uses violence as a form of getting his perspective
and view across to his audience. King uses violence in order to persuade the audience for other
reasons differing from Barack Obama's view on violence. Martin Luther king brings to light the
amount of damage that violence is causing in order to pursue the audience when saying "I am
mindful that only yesterday in Philadelphia, Mississippi, young people seeking to secure the right to
vote were brutalized and murdered. And only yesterday more than 40 houses of worship in the State
of Mississippi alone were bombed or burned because they offered a sanctuary to those who would
not accept segregation." (pg.1). Although this seems upsetting, King chooses to bring it to light in
order to open societies eyes and convince them that violence is destroying the world day by day.
King says in his speech "I believe that wounded justice, lying prostrate on the blood–flowing streets
of our nations, can be lifted from this dust of shame to reign supreme among the children of men."
(pg.2). When King says this, it automatically gives society a reason for automatically thinking that
indeed we have violence in this world, and things should be changed immediately. King brings this
to the attention of society that he believes that we as a community can change and turn into
something better. King uses words like brutalized and murdered to convince and persuade the
audience into having a different view on why violence isn't okay while Obama uses his view on
violence to persuade his audience in a different manner. Barack Obama brings up the fact that non–
violence would not have put a stop to Hitler's armies just like negotiation between the U.S. and al
Qaeda's leaders wouldn't have made them put their arms down and act any differently (pg.6). Barack
Obama is trying to open up societies eyes and give them a different viewpoint on his beliefs and
how he thinks situations like the tragic experience that Jews had to face in Auschwitz should be
handled. In addition to the previous statement, Barack Obama also talks about the fact that all
nations must embrace the role that milliteries with a clear mandate, order of commision, can have in
