review as well as preparing for presentations in
all of the content areas. Perfect for studying on
the go!
• This can work on memorization, better public
speaking skills.

• Created by a 12yr old boy who was inspired by his sister, an
autistic young girl with speech disabilities.
• The developer has created a helpful series of videos to assist
users in getting started, customizing the settings, and view all
of the possible features.
• The App may not cover a specific content area but we all
thought that it was one that would provide a bigger
opportunity for a special needs student to be included in the
general education classroom amongst their peers

individual in their knowledge of various areas. Allows
them to think on a higher level.

through the different levels. Performance is recorded and
saved.

12. Rationale
Our group chose Apps that could be used for
one specific content area or could be used in all
content areas. We even chose an App that
would assist with exceptionalities as well as one
that just exercised the brain. With the
requirement of the use of technology in CCSS
and the emphasis on reading and writing in all
content areas we feel that our App will serve student
educational needs.
