● This app can be used in the classroom as an interactive tool for students to move and use gross
motor skills while still actively learning. .
● GoNoodle is a fun way to engage students in learning while they are actively moving their bodies or
using breathing and calming techniques to get ready to learn.
● The app is easy to use and easily follows you through on screen directions of how to work the app.
There are options to search for interactive dancing games that are of specific subject, grade level and
much more. After you choose your skill level or preference of activity the app guides you to the
videos to choose from. .
● The app does offer privacy for students and teachers to create their own accounts as a class and
work together towards awards. .
● This app does allow use for reinforcing and strengthening teaching standards.
● The app is user friendly it provides easy to follow instructions on screen. The app is good for students
of all ages allowing even the youngest learners to use this app by choosing videos with on screen

● Kahoot does provide feedback and discussion for students and the teacher. The app tracks the students answers and
allows teachers to show visuals to the students of what they are learning and being quizzed on.
● With students being able to view and see their answers with their classmates this allows for classroom
discussion leading into engaging learning conversations and allowing the students to think on a deeper level
together.

● Animated movies with quizzes and other material relevant to each movie
● Can search each movie by topic and follows in a linear fashion
● Does not have an option for the students to make an account but does allow students and teachers to
record their learning accomplishments
● App allows students to record their accomplishments and watch the videos if they need to review the
lessons along with the teacher able to assign quizzes/ assignments with the corresponding video
● The videos are engaging even to younger students, allowing their attention to stay engaged and
interested in the material
10. Kids Planet Discovery

● Can be used in IOS devices as an app and can teach students about new cultures/ traditions
● It allows students a fun and interactive way to learn about social studies instead of just reading from a
textbook
● Each kid can have their own account where they keep their own accomplishments and can track their
journey across the world
● The app is very user-friendly and has interesting and intriguing games for kids to play as they learn. There
is a support area and there are fun and bright graphics to keep students interacting with their studies
11. Rocket Math

● Can be used in the classroom with verbal partner practice or online games as well as a section being
assigned for homework if need be
● It can supplement the lesson taught that day with games and with partners and printable worksheets that
can be used
● The privacy policy is pretty straightforward and simple. It protects the use of data from third-party apps but
it does need the name, phone number, and email address of the students to ensure analytics and to
update the privacy policy as need be
● The app is user friendly. It may take some practice to fully acess all of the worksheets and online games
that are available to students on the app
12. Group Collaboration
As a group we collaborated with one another presenting 10 top
apps that we researched and have experience using. As a group
we had several apps that we found in common. We discussed what
we found the most important in these apps and collaborated as a
group to develop our list of the top 10 apps for classroom learning.
