INTRODUCTION
I’m a student from International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in the third
year, in Tourism Industry Major of Bachelor of Arts. Tourism Industry is in scope of plentiful
progressive technology to support human to travel wherever they want to go together with
prepare service and accommodation by human. Labors are dispensable to progress tourism
ongoing, for they are important to serve service. Meantime, I study in tourism industry; I love
talking with people and feel happy when I make people happy. Therefore, I decided to study
in tourism industry and have obeyed my teachers strictly. Before recently graduating, I have
to participate in Preparation or Cooperative Education in Tourism Industry and Field Trip
which is a partial curriculum. It is the subject for students before they graduate in order to
help the students to have real working experiences, be competitiveness of labors, and
emphasize supporting how to adjust with working life in the company. As the real world,
person, who is strong and more adaptive, can survive from the cosmopolitan excessive global
competitiveness. This is the fact that Cooperative Education I’m able to answer not only job
in the future but also self-esteem in occupations.
To start proceeding for taking the Cooperative Education in Tourism Industry, I must contact
with the company where I appreciate to attain to work as pre-internship. There are total three
companies and one department, possessed by Bangkok to promote tourism I had contacted
with. M.D. tour runs business over three decade as the first one I start to hand over phone.
With low cost tour for saving customers expense such as ticketing reservation, vehicle van
loan, and hotel reservation, but because between June and July are low season the company
in that time does not have a policy to employ trainees. In that time, Bangkok Tourism
Division, Pacific World and Bonnie group were being continued by president on the process
to approve and I waitd them for calling back. It was lucky the last result, Bonnie Group and
Pacific World, both open opportunities to hire me to be trained with them.
Pacific World (Thailand).Ltd was the more experience, providing destination and leisure. An
expertise company operates Management professionals. Also, TUI Travel PLC, the world’s
largest Leisure Travel Company, a part of pacific world, are well known over 180 countries. I
was called by HR in the company to do an interview. It was surprising the first time. I waited
HR in the lobby and I walked in the room in which HR used for interview. Simple questions,
I frankly answered all questions. However, there was only one question stubble me she asked
me about tourist attraction in Northern part of Thailand that I participated I was forgettable
about the name of temples. I’m acceptable not preparation in the detail of my resume used
being questions. Finally, it was hopeless for this situation. On the contrary, she called me
back to employ me at last.
Whist Boonies group CO., LTD, was introduced by my teacher, the owner of the company
get in touch with me after reading my resume. Boonies group is the tour company with a long
history as well despite being not in the same level as Pacific world: Inaugurated in 2003 by

professionals of tourism with experience more than 10 years, the company focus on trips and

lecturers in the university and government officers. Team building is a philosophy of job
design in which employees are viewed as members of interdependent teams instead of as
individual workers.
Lastly, Preparation Or Cooperative Education in Tourism Industry and Field Trip can provide
me to understand myself that whether I can apply my knowledge and adjust with work in
company or not. I think that when I work in the future, this course can improve social and
adaptive skills. These can help me to cooperate with people. I absolutely agree that
Preparation or Cooperative Education in Tourism Industry and Field Trip is beneficial to
choose occupations in tourism field aptly for myself.

responsibility.
Working in this company is quite interesting. All staffs and my advisor attentively teach me
whatever I’m doubted and keen on learning. Therefore, atmosphere in Bonnie Group is
suitable for learning in my view.

 To manage day times in work such as going to company on time,
handling work assignments and their importance.
 Details of my positions according to the job descriptions
I would like to present my responsibilities during apprenticeship. This
is my duties I do as following on lists:
 To edify the program tour and itinerary: it doesn’t mean that I modify
or rewrite them but I had to check for mistakes such as spelling,
number, and cost. About costs and expenses, I check them in the
invoices made by the company’s accounting in order to send to guests
if they request.
 To print electronic tickets and check their code. This is the primary
inspection to make sure that agents completely issue the ticket code
number. This must be well taken care of because if there is no code
number, they can’t depart from the airport.
 To upload pictures of tourist attractions to my supervisor for preparing
tour program. This is my homework to find pictures that match with
the topic of tour program. I find pictures of tourist attraction in Japan.
 To copy documents as relevant evidences such as invoice and
payment. As you know, I have a duty to keep documents. All copied
papers I keep all in the plastic file to make them safety.
 To complete Australia visitor visa application for guests. The first
experience to fill Australia visa. In some questions, I can’t be clear.
For instants, Health safety questions of tourists, I confuse that I should
be completed or not, for to grant visa is strict and it forces to fill in
blanket. Therefore, I decide to ask for supervisor.
 To translate English documents into Thai language for any staffs who
cannot command in English. In my company, any staffs didn’t have
any skills and abilities to write and translate Thai to English.
Therefore, I sometime assist them to write and translate.
 To help my supervisor contacts with clients. Sometimes, my supervisor
and staffs were busying. I work as call center to reply to the clients and
note that who they are and what the purpose is.
 To observe the tours conducted by my supervisor and guides to
welcome tourists at Suvanabhum International Airport. I have an
opportunity to observe how guides and staffs work with clients. When
the clients arrive, I help my staffs and guide to check their name and
give them passports to check in the airport counter.
 How strong is the correlation between this experience and the class room
knowledge
If you talk about the classroom knowledge, it will directly concern in studying
the college. How strong is the correlation between this experiences that can
apply for pre-internship. Assignments and duties are given by my supervisor
beyond reasonable doubt that I put it in advance following the lists:
 English for Daily Life Communication: its discipline is that dialogue
and conversation in daily life for communication. Although, I contact

in Thai, the process of the purpose is quite similar. Every day, when I
meet with colleague and customers, I talk with them to express my
feeling and to achieve any purposes such as asking somebody for help,
buying and trading, and etc. That shows about the objectives of course,
regarded basic human communication.
 Reading for Efficiency: the core of this course helps me to understand
about information that has two characteristics: Scanning and
Skimming. Scanning is a reading technique to find specific information
quickly. In my job the term of finding a misspelling word in tour
program, scanning skill saves me time and cross out the unimportant
detail. Another skill is Skimming referred how to a main idea passage
to understand overall a reading section. I apply skimming reading for
long passage to write itinerary detail.
 General Psychology: For this course, I can perceive and read human
behavior through facial expression, action and sound, included
environment and atmosphere. In company, my supervisor and
colleague are friendly and outgoing. They always greet me and ask me
about my life. I can assume that if I share about feeling and thinking,
they will respond me in positive ways.
 Information and Communication Technology: When I get in touch
with guests, they always contact with E-mail. According to this
subject, I learn how to send e-mail and check. As internet connection
problem takes place, I can know what the problem. Moreover, I’m able
to use Microsoft office programs and computer programs.
 Creative Thinking and Decision Making: I have studied about how to
create new thinking out of box. Therefore, I can put my head together
with my supervisor to construct the creative idea for my supervisor.
 Thai Arts: I learn the new technical words of Thai art to call tourist
attractions, objects and Thai architecture style such as Buddha image,
Vihara, chapel, sanctity wall; emerald Buddha, and etc. Thus, I could
apply the knowledge while I was working outside of the office as the
company’s observation tour staffs so that I could understand about the
explanation of tourist guide. After the observation trip then I needed to
do a report to submit my supervisor about all the programs, schedules,
and the problems happened on the trips.
 English for Business Communication: I have gained the knowledge of
Business Communication skills from this class, so when I was working
as call center. I could contact to my clients appropriately and correctly
without hesitance. However, my supervisor still conduct and observe
me when I have a problem with clients
 Writing for Efficiency: I can apply how to write in appropriate way to
communicate with clients. Sometime, responding an email, I was
assigned this possible from my supervisor. This subject improves me
to write communicatively and efficiently. Brainstorm to put whatever
is my idea, generated to write for communicating which cover the all
idea I want guests to interpret.

www.ssruic.com
 Thai History: According to Thai history subject, it illustrates about
Thais or about Thailand in the past to present. The thing that I apply
for work is to write about itinerary in specific attractions of concise
history explanation. In my case tour program in Chiang Mai, I decided
to add more history of Lanna where had ever the great kingdom of the
northern part of Thailand.
 Tourist Guide: I learn the principle of tour guide to apply in
observation and providing hospitality to guests during my experience
as a volunteer to welcome clients at the airport. I always smile to them
though anyone take action to reply me in negative way. For example,
when I asked tourist for carrying his baggage, he didn’t smile with me
and replied that it was my bag and I would do by myself with an
aggressive stern-face. While waiting other clients at standby point, I
served passports for registering at airline counter and give a direction
also.
 Southeast Asian Studies: I have earned some general information of
the Southeast Asian countries in brief. In my perspective, it was
important to be a general knowledge because it might be asked by
tourists.
 Thai Tourism Attraction Studies: It’s the course that I earn more in
term of tourist attractions. Because my supervisor and staffs ask me
about tourist attractions in Thailand to examine my knowledge, I think
this subject is able to support me so much.
 Airline Reservation and Ticketing and Airlines Business Studies: I
know about Airline ticketing to make flight reservation and understand
a component of electronic tickets. As the result, I have a capability to
check airline tickets of my supervisor book. Airline code number,
passenger’s name, and flight must approve. If there is something
wrong, passengers cannot take off from the airport.
 Thai Tourism Industry: I learn the scope of holistic views in tourism
industry subject. Human is in a consideration of tourism such as
entrepreneur, tourist, and host. All are dependable in order to achieve
their objectives. For instances, Karen village can make profit when
tourists expense money and they satisfied during visit at village and are
pleasure to pay. Therefore, it helps me to classify the relationship
between tourists and hosts.
 Service Psychology: I merge service psychology and general
psychology altogether. The most crucial core is service-mind that I
who study in tourism industry must respond tourists’ need. When I
welcome the guests at the airport, I facilitate service minds by speaking
politely and help them by enduring.
 English for Tourism I, II: The course core of English for Tourism is
vocabulary. The technical term that I learn as following lists:
B&B= bed and breakfast
Cruise: a holiday during which you travel on a ship or boat and
visit a number of places.
Journey: Travel from one place to another (formal use)

Shopping district: area of town where there are many stores
Attractions: places for tourists to see
Art gallery: place to look at professional paintings and
drawings
En route: on the way
Customary: traditional
Breathtaking: when a view is very impressive
Etc.
This subject helps me to understand tourism vocabularies when I find
Other itineraries in website to apply for unique program tours of the
company
 Buddhism in Thailand: Buddhism is the main religion of Thailand
more than 90 percent. Though I’m believed in Islam, The knowledge
of Buddhism is a benefit during clients asking me for its history.
 Thai Tourism Law: For tourism, to sustain the balance and regulation
was issued by law. I remind that tourist, host and tourist attraction is
under the rule. On 22 June 2013, my supervisor arranged the tour
program in Nakhon Rachasrima, at Khao Yai. In that time, I aware of
the regulation and rule that restrict the number of tourist to enter for
visit. Also, tourist safety while they were traveling covered and I focus
because if the tourists fall in to the danger or injure, I could appeal for
compensation.
 Thai Society, Culture, and Festivals: Learning of society, culture and
festival is essential for a tour guide and people who work in tourism
field. I apply this knowledge to answer the question of guests and
introduce them know in the different Society, Culture, and Festivals in
Thailand.
 Consumer Behavior in Tourism Industry: This subject’s concerned
human who have the different styles consume and appreciate service.
According to a guest of my supervisor, he came from Turkish and he
brought souvenirs and fruits in his country to thank. Moreover, he is
friendly with me although I had known him before and I heard that he
loved Thai food, talk about his favorable Thai dish and traveled in
Thailand so much. From this case, it was illustrated about tourist who
is Turkish behave in a good way when he talk and explain about Thai
food.
 Business Communication Skills: the ideas of how to write efficiently
English business letters resume and e-mail open an opportunity for me
to improve a good English business communication. Therefore, I can
apply business writing and negotiation skill for apprenticeship in
Bonnie group.
 Public Speaking Skills: I had learned the speaking skills from this
class. I think that it give me a great number of benefits such as to
deliver message, clearly, and appropriately to receiver, how to speak to
persuade listener to receive and respond speech. I adapted the Public
Speaking Skills to express my feeling in my company that supervisor
let me to talk on the stage.

 Geography of Tourism: This subject introduces me to know of
geography in Thailand in each part such as Northern part of Thailand,
there are many multiple mountain ranges and good atmosphere with
tourist attraction on the mountain: Doi Inthanon, Phrathat Doi Suthep
and so do on. This information can support me to write itinerary as an
example for my supervisor.
 Sustainable Tourism Management: realization and environment
awareness is in the concept of sustainable Tourism. Tourist guides and
entrepreneurs were the most considerable parts in tourism industry.
Distribution income into local people could encourage having jobs.
Environment protection sustains tourist attractions remaining long
lasting. My company has more considerable environments and local
people than profit. In long holidays, staffs would take a trip in term of
volunteer to help local people and preserve environment.
 Thai Food, Fruits and Beverage: I learn the verities of Thai food, fruits
and beverage. The top of Thai food well-known in Thailand is Tom
Yam Kung which is appreciable for foreigners. What’s more, herbal
beverage as the top secrete in advantage of health such as Pandan juice
has health benefit for heart muscle and bale fruit juice helps you from
being flatulence. Thus, I put this knowledge during study in classroom
to explain for tourists.
 Tour Planning and Organization: While studying in Tour Planning and
Organization, I work as the tour operation. I’m responsible for
designing itinerary, taking in touch with touring bus and place for
staying with my friends. These duties must plan before for preventing
from unexpected situation and for reducing some risks. When working
in the company, I remember ideas of further planning from this subject
to handle my assignment in company.
 Tourist Health, Safety and Risk Assessment: I have gained the
experiences about the tourist health from this class. Of course, this
class could assist me a lot when I was working staff assistance. I have
to prepare medicine for tourists who travel aboard and some foods
such as instant noodle, chili paste, drinking water and snack all of them
which clear and aren’t expiration.
 Human Relations and the Arts of Communication for Tourism
Industry: Regarding with subject, I apply for efficient communication
with tourists and guests. Communication with body language, facial
express and posture is activated .When they ask for counter to affirm
the airline seat, I kindly answer the direction and smile welcomingly.
 Thai Heritage and Handicraft: The core of ideas in this subject
provides the detail of local products in each region of Thailand. I use
this knowledge to find local product pictures so that my supervisor
would have beautiful pictures to show the tourists.
 The regularly of the communication that the coordinator staff contacts
with me either by e-mail or visiting
 Fairly, coordinator staffs communicate with me face to face. When

7.2 Section II: Analysis
7.2.1 Experience gained during the Pre-internship period
I work as the operation of the organization although the company didn’t set department.
However, it was a small company; it did not mean the experience I got would be small. I
prepared and check supply in the company such as restaurant, electronic ticket, and food. I
had to coordinate with staffs and my supervisor when there are any mistakes. For instance,
when my supervisors need to revise costs in program tour to upgrade from suit room to
deluxe room, I took the information to accountant to change the costs. Additionally, the
Operations provide a service with transportation and tourist guide. The main transportation is
Airplane that used for took overseas. I took care of the electronic ticket to check and update
for clients. Sometime, I contacted with restaurant to confirm the number of tourists and
menu.
 The level of responsibility given to me by my job supervisor
The level of responsibility of the assignments, I think that my
supervisor given to me depended on the important of each single task as the
following lists:
 To edify the program tour and itinerary: my duty is to find something
that mistake such as word spelling, number, and cost. About costs and
expenses, I check from invoices that an accountant in company will
attach them to send to guests if they request.
 To print electronic tickets and check its code. When my supervisor
book airline tickets, he always give me to check passenger’s name
together with passport. Both are the same. I think I know the electronic
ticket.
 To work as the call center officer: It’s quite like that I work as tour
operation mocked up. I contact with the restaurants at Khao Yai
National park. I successfully negotiate with them and confirm the costs
to my supervisor.
 Skill and qualification I have gained from the pre-internship
As considering the skills and qualifications that I have acquired from my pre-
internship with Bonnie Group Co., Ltd, you can know from the following lists:
 Skills: Microsoft Office skill such as Microsoft Words are dispensable
because I had to use lots of Microsoft Offices files to revise program
tours that there are a lot of program to check and paint program to
modify types of picture files when I have a free time, my supervisor
give me documents about tour program to read and it help me to
improves reading skill.

I’m one of human resource that’s important because my supervisor and
staffs always ask me for help such as photocopy, check passport;
document, prepare instant noodle, medicine and etc.
 Understanding of the various aspects of professional work
The understanding of tasks during working is such difficult that my supervisor
assign the basic assignments. Because I’m work as trainee, it’s important to
learn from easiness to more difficult. I endeavor to be responsible my work in
each day. For example, photocopy; scan documents, check passport, and
highlight misspelling in tour program.
The quite difficult work in my thinking is to welcome the tourists at airport. I
feel awestruck to meet with a great number of people in the same time. I never
know that what they behave when they meet with trainee who has just worked
but I can manage my emotion. As a result, it’s nothing happen. Another
essential task is to complete Australia visa application for visitor. Even if there
are both Thai and English explanation, I don’t understand because of my first
time. So, I ask for help from my supervisor and I clear with any point that I
confuse. I think that some problem that I learn can make me professional in
work.
 Your thoughts about how pre-internship might influence your pre-internship
as well as future career plans
In my opinion, Pre-internship Program is a great way to gain valuable
work experience in company. Bonnie group gives me an opportunity to
understand about tourism field. To work as tour operator teach me how to
combines tour and travel components to create a special holiday form my
supervisor. Learning tourism product and destination let me open a scope of
tourism in broad ways. Moreover, I had experienced that my supervisor
exercise contracting power with suppliers (airlines, hotels, other land
arrangements, cruises, etc. in order to create packages and special holiday in
destinations.
In vice-versa, it established contacts for the future career for me
because I can meet with new friends and different people in the same time and
meet face-to-face with public officials and decision makers. I think I would
like to be tour operator somewhere.
 Problems I have encountered in handling my job assignment
The problem that I face with in my company is about my duty in weekends.
However, I always deal with it and try to solve it by myself. It’s concerned
with the tasks that my supervisor assigns as following the lists:
 Problem with photocopier: When I use a photocopier to duplicate
documents, I always make a mistake to put the paper with wrong
putting that make the photocopier paralyze. I can’t put paper out and
always ask my supervisor for help.
 Transferring the picture to other computers have problem: I cannot put
pictures that cannot synchronize to share other computer though server

of company. Thus, I request the suggestion from my supervisor for
help. The fact it’s that only my computer isn’t able to via one another
because of virus.
 Document creating problem: I put the mistaken documents to my
supervisor because I don’t remember that after checking, I keep them
in which files.
 My own physical problem: When I welcome tourists at the airport for
check in, I can’t assist them to carry their baggage because it’s large
and heavy more than my physical power
 Misspelling in English: During I complete Australia visa application
for visitor. There is one question ask that do you have any sponsor or
assistant to support financially? My supervisor remarks that you should
fill in the space that cash and credit card. On the contrary, I spell crash
instead of cash.
 Communication problem: Sometime, when I try to explain something
to my supervisor and coordinator staff, they don’t understand what I’m
talking. I attempt to communicate to illustrate the point of problem. In
my case, coordinator staff who is woman put tourist passports to me
for copying and I do as she want. Anyhow, when I give her duplicated
papers, she says that you don’t order the passenger’s names. In fact
that I haven’t known before because the documents she hands to me no
having passengers’ name order. I make a conflict with her for a while.
Finally, my supervisor mediates her and me.
7.2.2 Analyze chosen topic of the organization using SWOT (strength, weakness,
opportunity, and threat
• Theory of SWOT Analysis
According to the link (http://ctb.ku.edu/en/tablecontents/sub_section_main_1049.aspx),SWOT
Analysis is a tool to analyze the framework of organization to identify the strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats Specifically, SWOT is a basic method to access
internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external issues (opportunities and threats). The way
to use SWOT analysis depending on the depth and your affordability to define the internal
and external factor you meet and it’s important that the pros and cons in organization is
clearly addressed.
Internal factors (strengths and weaknesses): Strengths considerate as volume that company
has possess resource, product, skill and ability for competitive competence. Weaknesses,
however, show the lacking of resource, product, skill and ability not to be able to make a
competitive with rivals
External factor (opportunities and threats): The factors or forces out of organization are
uncontrollable; chances of success or failure are drive directly or indirectly affect.

This is the shape of SWOT Matrix such as the example below:
According to Renault Val (2008), SWOT Matrix table, it displays the tool method active. On
the top, strengths weaknesses illustrate the internal factors in organization and the bottom,
opportunity and threads elucidate the external factor that out of your control.
 SWOT Analyses of Bonnie Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd.. are as the
following categories:
STRENGTHES
 Variety of products: The Company has many products and services. For instance,
hotels, transfers, excursions, charter flights, cruise, and so on. Therefore, the clients
can enjoy with variety of many types and services provided by a company. What’s
more, Bonnie Group led the tour to some countries that any tour companies rarely
made such as Turkish, Bangka lades, Republic of Bangladesh, Austria and etc.
 Reputation: the company has been working as the outbound tour operator for over 10
years with the excellent services and memorable experiences. These institution that
more than 10 years Bonnie Group work for as following names below:
Ramkhamhaeng University, NIDA, ministry of transportation and The National
Innovation Agency (NIA); for private sectors, for instance, NEC Corporation
(Thailand), DKSH Thailand, PENSPEN Company, and tailor-made tour.
 Relationships with customers, suppliers and networks: The Company creates a good
relationship with customers because when I respond the phone call from the clients.
They always respond that they had ever travelled with Bonnie. Therefore, I can
guarantee the company always replies customers to maintain the relationship.
 Quality of Services and Products: the company provides the fairly quality of service
and product to clients because it was guarantee by the rewards from Ramkhamheang
University and School of China.
WEAKNESSES
 Lack of progress in position: For employees in company, there are no positions for
them for their progress in the future. It looked lacking an incentive inspiration to
work. This was a con of the company to sustain the employees.
 Lack of German, Russia and Dutch guides: when the tour operators create the trips to
these countries, it’s difficult to find in Thailand although tour leaders are specialized
in English. According to three countries, it made more challenge.

Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199
www.ssruic.com
 Poor English skill: Most of staffs cannot speak in English and when there are English
documents from land in other countries, they cannot translate them. This is also the
weaknesses.
OPPORTUNITIES
 World of internet and technology for accessing: the company have the own websites
and blog in order to introduce to clients and sell the products and service such as the
hotel rooms, transfer services and excursions where the clients can review about their
traveling experiences from one another who travel with the company.
 The tourism trend: It’s independent variable depending on preference of tourists,
environment that if the company can catch the tourism trend, it’s more chance to
generate a lot of profits which the company never release the chances out; making
tour and selling hotels, transfers and airline ticket.
 The festival and event performance in each month: In Thailand, there are many
festivals and events to make the tourists enjoy. Therefore, the clients will celebrate
and book the tour for travel in Japan, Korea and Thailand.
 Words of Mouth: Words of mouth are dispensable in the company because I ask
clients that why do they choose to travel with Boonie Group? They reply that their
friend tell them to use the service.
THREATS
• Political Crisis: Sometimes the company creates the study trip for rural people to visit
Bangkok; it’s threatened that white mask and red shirt to do rally. Therefore, it‘s
interrupted by them. Therefore, tourists depart to the destination more slowly from the
plan.
• A new competitor in the outbound tour: At present, there are the new companies to
make the competition with. According to this case, the company attempt to keep the high
quality of products and service, while retaining the loyalty from customers and finding
ways to cut out its rivals
• Price: The Company of competitor tries to promote the tours with cheaper price than
Bonnie Group and the clients who use the service of Bonnie Group remark that
competitor company sell in cheaper cost. But they don’t know that the competitor don’t
plus 7 percent that is an additional tax.

CHAPTER 3
RECOMMENDATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS
1. Recommendations and conclusions derived from the Pre-internship
1.1 Advantage and disadvantage of the organization
ADVANTAGES
• Expert Staff in operating and providing multiple tasks: It’s advantages that one staff can
work in multiple tasks such as hire vehicle bus, airline reservation ticketing, pack
purveyance, work as tour leader and estimate the costs of program. Each staff can make a
tour and sell.
• Variety of Products: The Company where I work for offers many services and products to
have more choices for decision. There are so verities of products and services such as the,
transfers, tours, hotel rooms. Especially, Bonnie Group let the tour to some countries that
any tour companies rarely make such as Turkish, Republic of Bangladesh, Austria and etc.
• Good policies: The regulations and rules of company open the opportunity to staffs. They
can have a chance to be a tour leader because the owner of company drives them to have
experiences with new things instead of work in office and everyone has the same status
and receive equitability.
• Good environment and atmosphere of working: I love this company so much. Every staff
behaves with me well. He or she teaches me as well as mother and father and never
behave rudely and cruelly. I feel that this is a second home.
• Location: The location of company is not far from my home. I spend the times only 30
minutes to take a bus directly to the office.
DISADVANTAGES
• Lack of the clarity in position: for the company, it doesn’t clear about the position to
responsibility because each staff is assigned to create itinerary, contract with customer
sometimes and can be the tour leader.
• Lack of progress in position: Because the company progress the work as family, profit that
earn for each trip must be distributed equally. Therefore, although I work hard, it doesn’t
mean that I earn more salary.
• Lack of advance technology equipment and technician: In my company, printers and
computers look old and have viruses. Therefore, often, my supervisor must contact with
computer technician to repair and install new driver. Sometime, it must to back up new
date because there are any files that are important.
1.2 Benefit from the pre-internship
I would like to explain my feeling that I earn a lot of things in company, included working
and life experiences. Thus, I appreciate to elucidate the advantages of pre-internship as
following the lists:
• Social adjustment and problem solving skills: I learn how to work for other people in
company. Some people want me to work for them to finish the task more quickly because
if I deal with them sluggishly and slowly, they will blame me sometimes. Others love me
to work for their tasks slowly but more qualitatively. Therefore, I choose to deal with tasks
urgently and others respectively. Also, I think I have more adaptation with people in
company than the first time I adjust myself to conform with college friend because I spent
two or three days to make friends.

Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199
www.ssruic.com
• My future career: Two months that I work for the company remind me to think about
future occupations, for when I work as operation, I feel pleasure and happy with my
reason that I love reading documents and checking tour program that allow me to see the
novelty of attractions and places so likely as I travel; it’s possible that I would have
experienced to participate the trips such as familiarization trip to study the tourist
attractions and contact with new friends.
• The academic strength: I think that the work procedure in company enchants my
academic strength. I understood how tour guides conduct tours and handle bad clients,
what the detail of electronic ticket is, how to adjust myself to workplace and what the
tourism products company has. All knowledge that I earned increase the knowledge from
the past that I studied in the classroom.
1.3 Problem implication
The problem that I face with in my company is about my duty in weekends following lists in
each bullet:
 Problem with Tour-pro system: When I accessed Tour-pro system to revise the
information of clients such as client’s list, the hotel for staying and etc. The program
didn’t activate because there were too many staffs that were using this program.
 Transferring the picture to other computers have problem: I couldn’t put pictures that
were synchronize between my computer and other computers by me for sharing
though server of company; too many users were using.
 Misspelling in English: During I completed Australia visa application for visitor.
There was one question ask that “Do you have any sponsor or assistant to support
financially? My supervisor said that you ought to complete in the blanket with these
words such as cash and credit card. On the contrary, I spelled mistakenly the word
“crash” instead of “cash”.
1.4 Problem solution and recommendation
 Problem with Tour-pro system: I think that technician should check about constancy
of problem because the office employees must use it. Eventually, I try to connect the
program every second and success to connect the tour –pro system because when one
employee exits the program, I can connect to the program.
 Transferring the picture to other computers have problem: In my perspective,
technician should check about the limitation capacity of numbers of users and
improve the signal volume to make accession faster.
 Misspelling in English: I revise the visa applications that I have already completed.
1.5 Attitude toward this career after the pre-internship
The first time before I attain in pre-internship, I think tour operator is very difficult and I
don’t like it because I must not have more accurate in information about the tourist
attractions. After working around two months in the company, I think it’s different, for I can
use internet to find information and read at the same time after I experience with the duties of
tour operator.
My duties that I do during pre-internship are to check passports, program tour and documents
are able not to avoid. Every paper must not mistake because it was affected with one trip or
tour. Therefore, I must have concentration. As completing my work, my supervisor is always

glade me; it make sure that I can be a good tour operators to conduct the tour as well as my
supervisor. Boonies Group opens the chance of work in tour operation to me.
I actually move toward in the time for tour operator. The tour operator not only creates the
special tour for clients but also compensated with host and environment too as well as other
career in tourism such as tour guide, bellboy, local guide, and etc. serve a good service to
customer. During I’m tour operation department; I always work and meet with people.
In my attitude, the thing that I obtain from pre-internship make me interested in the tour
operator works and hold to be my job future.

(Tourism Industry) International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199 www.ssruic.com INTRODUCTION I’m a student from International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in the third year, in Tourism Industry Major of Bachelor of Arts. Before recently graduating, I have to participate in Preparation or Cooperative Education in Tourism Industry and Field Trip which is a partial curriculum. It is the subject for students before they graduate in order to help the students to have real working experiences, be competitiveness of labors, and emphasize supporting how to adjust with working life in the company. As the real world, person, who is strong and more adaptive, can survive from the cosmopolitan excessive global competitiveness. This is the fact that Cooperative Education I’m able to answer not only job in the future but also self-esteem in occupations. To start proceeding for taking the Cooperative Education in Tourism Industry, I must contact with the company where I appreciate to attain to work as pre-internship. There are total three companies and one department, possessed by Bangkok to promote tourism I had contacted with. M.D. tour runs business over three decade as the first one I start to hand over phone. With low cost tour for saving customers expense such as ticketing reservation, vehicle van loan, and hotel reservation, but because between June and July are low season the company in that time does not have a policy to employ trainees. In that time, Bangkok Tourism Division, Pacific World and Bonnie group were being continued by president on the process to approve and I waitd them for calling back. It was lucky the last result, Bonnie Group and Pacific World, both open opportunities to hire me to be trained with them. Pacific World (Thailand).Ltd was the more experience, providing destination and leisure. An expertise company operates Management professionals. Also, TUI Travel PLC, the world’s largest Leisure Travel Company, a part of pacific world, are well known over 180 countries. I was called by HR in the company to do an interview. It was surprising the first time. I waited HR in the lobby and I walked in the room in which HR used for interview. Simple questions, I frankly answered all questions. However, there was only one question stubble me she asked me about tourist attraction in Northern part of Thailand that I participated I was forgettable about the name of temples. I’m acceptable not preparation in the detail of my resume used being questions. Finally, it was hopeless for this situation. On the contrary, she called me back to employ me at last. Whist Boonies group CO., LTD, was introduced by my teacher, the owner of the company get in touch with me after reading my resume. Boonies group is the tour company with a long history as well despite being not in the same level as Pacific world: Inaugurated in 2003 by

This is my duties I do as following on lists:  To edify the program tour and itinerary: it doesn’t mean that I modify or rewrite them but I had to check for mistakes such as spelling, number, and cost. About costs and expenses, I check them in the invoices made by the company’s accounting in order to send to guests if they request.  To print electronic tickets and check their code. This is the primary inspection to make sure that agents completely issue the ticket code number. This must be well taken care of because if there is no code number, they can’t depart from the airport.  To upload pictures of tourist attractions to my supervisor for preparing tour program. This is my homework to find pictures that match with the topic of tour program. I find pictures of tourist attraction in Japan.  To copy documents as relevant evidences such as invoice and payment. As you know, I have a duty to keep documents. All copied papers I keep all in the plastic file to make them safety.  To complete Australia visitor visa application for guests. The first experience to fill Australia visa. In some questions, I can’t be clear. For instants, Health safety questions of tourists, I confuse that I should be completed or not, for to grant visa is strict and it forces to fill in blanket. (Tourism Industry) International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199 www.ssruic.com in Thai, the process of the purpose is quite similar. Every day, when I meet with colleague and customers, I talk with them to express my feeling and to achieve any purposes such as asking somebody for help, buying and trading, and etc. That shows about the objectives of course, regarded basic human communication.  Reading for Efficiency: the core of this course helps me to understand about information that has two characteristics: Scanning and Skimming. Scanning is a reading technique to find specific information quickly. In my job the term of finding a misspelling word in tour program, scanning skill saves me time and cross out the unimportant detail. Another skill is Skimming referred how to a main idea passage to understand overall a reading section. I apply skimming reading for long passage to write itinerary detail.  General Psychology: For this course, I can perceive and read human behavior through facial expression, action and sound, included environment and atmosphere. In company, my supervisor and colleague are friendly and outgoing. They always greet me and ask me about my life. I can assume that if I share about feeling and thinking, they will respond me in positive ways.  Information and Communication Technology: When I get in touch with guests, they always contact with E-mail. According to this subject, I learn how to send e-mail and check. As internet connection problem takes place, I can know what the problem. Moreover, I’m able to use Microsoft office programs and computer programs.  Creative Thinking and Decision Making: I have studied about how to create new thinking out of box. Therefore, I can put my head together with my supervisor to construct the creative idea for my supervisor.  Thai Arts: I learn the new technical words of Thai art to call tourist attractions, objects and Thai architecture style such as Buddha image, Vihara, chapel, sanctity wall; emerald Buddha, and etc. Thus, I could apply the knowledge while I was working outside of the office as the company’s observation tour staffs so that I could understand about the explanation of tourist guide. After the observation trip then I needed to do a report to submit my supervisor about all the programs, schedules, and the problems happened on the trips.  English for Business Communication: I have gained the knowledge of Business Communication skills from this class, so when I was working as call center. However, my supervisor still conduct and observe me when I have a problem with clients  Writing for Efficiency: I can apply how to write in appropriate way to communicate with clients. Sometime, responding an email, I was assigned this possible from my supervisor. This subject improves me to write communicatively and efficiently. Brainstorm to put whatever is my idea, generated to write for communicating which cover the all idea I want guests to interpret.
  • 9. 9 B. A. (Tourism Industry) International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199 www.ssruic.com  Thai History: According to Thai history subject, it illustrates about Thais or about Thailand in the past to present. The thing that I apply for work is to write about itinerary in specific attractions of concise history explanation. In my case tour program in Chiang Mai, I decided to add more history of Lanna where had ever the great kingdom of the northern part of Thailand.  Tourist Guide: I learn the principle of tour guide to apply in observation and providing hospitality to guests during my experience as a volunteer to welcome clients at the airport. I always smile to them though anyone take action to reply me in negative way. For example, when I asked tourist for carrying his baggage, he didn’t smile with me and replied that it was my bag and I would do by myself with an aggressive stern-face. While waiting other clients at standby point, I served passports for registering at airline counter and give a direction also.  Southeast Asian Studies: I have earned some general information of the Southeast Asian countries in brief. In my perspective, it was important to be a general knowledge because it might be asked by tourists.  Thai Tourism Attraction Studies: It’s the course that I earn more in term of tourist attractions. Because my supervisor and staffs ask me about tourist attractions in Thailand to examine my knowledge, I think this subject is able to support me so much.  Airline Reservation and Ticketing and Airlines Business Studies: I know about Airline ticketing to make flight reservation and understand a component of electronic tickets. As the result, I have a capability to check airline tickets of my supervisor book. Airline code number, passenger’s name, and flight must approve. If there is something wrong, passengers cannot take off from the airport.  Thai Tourism Industry: I learn the scope of holistic views in tourism industry subject. Human is in a consideration of tourism such as entrepreneur, tourist, and host. All are dependable in order to achieve their objectives. For instances, Karen village can make profit when tourists expense money and they satisfied during visit at village and are pleasure to pay. Therefore, it helps me to classify the relationship between tourists and hosts.  Service Psychology: I merge service psychology and general psychology altogether. The most crucial core is service-mind that I who study in tourism industry must respond tourists’ need. When I welcome the guests at the airport, I facilitate service minds by speaking politely and help them by enduring.  English for Tourism I, II: The course core of English for Tourism is vocabulary. The technical term that I learn as following lists: B&B= bed and breakfast Cruise: a holiday during which you travel on a ship or boat and visit a number of places. Journey: Travel from one place to another (formal use)

(Tourism Industry) International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199 www.ssruic.com Shopping district: area of town where there are many stores Attractions: places for tourists to see Art gallery: place to look at professional paintings and drawings En route: on the way Customary: traditional Breathtaking: when a view is very impressive Etc. This subject helps me to understand tourism vocabularies when I find Other itineraries in website to apply for unique program tours of the company  Buddhism in Thailand: Buddhism is the main religion of Thailand more than 90 percent. Though I’m believed in Islam, The knowledge of Buddhism is a benefit during clients asking me for its history.  Thai Tourism Law: For tourism, to sustain the balance and regulation was issued by law. I remind that tourist, host and tourist attraction is under the rule. On 22 June 2013, my supervisor arranged the tour program in Nakhon Rachasrima, at Khao Yai. In that time, I aware of the regulation and rule that restrict the number of tourist to enter for visit. Also, tourist safety while they were traveling covered and I focus because if the tourists fall in to the danger or injure, I could appeal for compensation.  Thai Society, Culture, and Festivals: Learning of society, culture and festival is essential for a tour guide and people who work in tourism field. I apply this knowledge to answer the question of guests and introduce them know in the different Society, Culture, and Festivals in Thailand.  Consumer Behavior in Tourism Industry: This subject’s concerned human who have the different styles consume and appreciate service. According to a guest of my supervisor, he came from Turkish and he brought souvenirs and fruits in his country to thank. Moreover, he is friendly with me although I had known him before and I heard that he loved Thai food, talk about his favorable Thai dish and traveled in Thailand so much. From this case, it was illustrated about tourist who is Turkish behave in a good way when he talk and explain about Thai food.  Business Communication Skills: the ideas of how to write efficiently English business letters resume and e-mail open an opportunity for me to improve a good English business communication. Therefore, I can apply business writing and negotiation skill for apprenticeship in Bonnie group.  Public Speaking Skills: I had learned the speaking skills from this class. I think that it give me a great number of benefits such as to deliver message, clearly, and appropriately to receiver, how to speak to persuade listener to receive and respond speech. (Tourism Industry) International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199 www.ssruic.com  Geography of Tourism: This subject introduces me to know of geography in Thailand in each part such as Northern part of Thailand, there are many multiple mountain ranges and good atmosphere with tourist attraction on the mountain: Doi Inthanon, Phrathat Doi Suthep and so do on. This information can support me to write itinerary as an example for my supervisor.  Sustainable Tourism Management: realization and environment awareness is in the concept of sustainable Tourism. Tourist guides and entrepreneurs were the most considerable parts in tourism industry. Distribution income into local people could encourage having jobs. Environment protection sustains tourist attractions remaining long lasting. My company has more considerable environments and local people than profit. In long holidays, staffs would take a trip in term of volunteer to help local people and preserve environment.  Thai Food, Fruits and Beverage: I learn the verities of Thai food, fruits and beverage. The top of Thai food well-known in Thailand is Tom Yam Kung which is appreciable for foreigners. What’s more, herbal beverage as the top secrete in advantage of health such as Pandan juice has health benefit for heart muscle and bale fruit juice helps you from being flatulence. Thus, I put this knowledge during study in classroom to explain for tourists.  Tour Planning and Organization: While studying in Tour Planning and Organization, I work as the tour operation. I’m responsible for designing itinerary, taking in touch with touring bus and place for staying with my friends. These duties must plan before for preventing from unexpected situation and for reducing some risks. When working in the company, I remember ideas of further planning from this subject to handle my assignment in company.  Tourist Health, Safety and Risk Assessment: I have gained the experiences about the tourist health from this class. Of course, this class could assist me a lot when I was working staff assistance. I have to prepare medicine for tourists who travel aboard and some foods such as instant noodle, chili paste, drinking water and snack all of them which clear and aren’t expiration.  Human Relations and the Arts of Communication for Tourism Industry: Regarding with subject, I apply for efficient communication with tourists and guests. Communication with body language, facial express and posture is activated .When they ask for counter to affirm the airline seat, I kindly answer the direction and smile welcomingly.  Thai Heritage and Handicraft: The core of ideas in this subject provides the detail of local products in each region of Thailand. I use this knowledge to find local product pictures so that my supervisor would have beautiful pictures to show the tourists.  The regularly of the communication that the coordinator staff contacts with me either by e-mail or visiting  Fairly, coordinator staffs communicate with me face to face. The tours for government sectors such as Ramkhamhaeng University, NIDA, ministry of transportation and The National Innovation Agency (NIA); for private sectors, for instance, NEC Corporation (Thailand), DKSH Thailand, PENSPEN Company, and general clients. 7.2 Section II: Analysis 7.2.1 Experience gained during the Pre-internship period I work as the operation of the organization although the company didn’t set department. However, it was a small company; it did not mean the experience I got would be small. I prepared and check supply in the company such as restaurant, electronic ticket, and food. I had to coordinate with staffs and my supervisor when there are any mistakes. For instance, when my supervisors need to revise costs in program tour to upgrade from suit room to deluxe room, I took the information to accountant to change the costs. Additionally, the Operations provide a service with transportation and tourist guide. The main transportation is Airplane that used for took overseas. I took care of the electronic ticket to check and update for clients. Sometime, I contacted with restaurant to confirm the number of tourists and menu.  The level of responsibility given to me by my job supervisor The level of responsibility of the assignments, I think that my supervisor given to me depended on the important of each single task as the following lists:  To edify the program tour and itinerary: my duty is to find something that mistake such as word spelling, number, and cost. About costs and expenses, I check from invoices that an accountant in company will attach them to send to guests if they request.  To print electronic tickets and check its code. When my supervisor book airline tickets, he always give me to check passenger’s name together with passport. Both are the same. I think I know the electronic ticket.  To work as the call center officer: It’s quite like that I work as tour operation mocked up. I contact with the restaurants at Khao Yai National park. I successfully negotiate with them and confirm the costs to my supervisor.  Skill and qualification I have gained from the pre-internship As considering the skills and qualifications that I have acquired from my pre- internship with Bonnie Group Co., Ltd, you can know from the following lists:  Skills: Microsoft Office skill such as Microsoft Words are dispensable because I had to use lots of Microsoft Offices files to revise program tours that there are a lot of program to check and paint program to modify types of picture files when I have a free time, my supervisor give me documents about tour program to read and it help me to improves reading skill.

(Tourism Industry) International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199 www.ssruic.com Moreover, I learn how to work as teamwork because all the time I always report the updating of tour program to accountant to estimate the costs and other staffs that helps my supervisor also.  Qualifications: During two months in company, I qualify myself that I’m one of human resource that’s important because my supervisor and staffs always ask me for help such as photocopy, check passport; document, prepare instant noodle, medicine and etc.  Understanding of the various aspects of professional work The understanding of tasks during working is such difficult that my supervisor assign the basic assignments. Because I’m work as trainee, it’s important to learn from easiness to more difficult. I endeavor to be responsible my work in each day. For example, photocopy; scan documents, check passport, and highlight misspelling in tour program. The quite difficult work in my thinking is to welcome the tourists at airport. I feel awestruck to meet with a great number of people in the same time. I never know that what they behave when they meet with trainee who has just worked but I can manage my emotion. As a result, it’s nothing happen. Another essential task is to complete Australia visa application for visitor. Even if there are both Thai and English explanation, I don’t understand because of my first time. So, I ask for help from my supervisor and I clear with any point that I confuse. I think that some problem that I learn can make me professional in work.  Your thoughts about how pre-internship might influence your pre-internship as well as future career plans In my opinion, Pre-internship Program is a great way to gain valuable work experience in company. Bonnie group gives me an opportunity to understand about tourism field. To work as tour operator teach me how to combines tour and travel components to create a special holiday form my supervisor. Learning tourism product and destination let me open a scope of tourism in broad ways. Moreover, I had experienced that my supervisor exercise contracting power with suppliers (airlines, hotels, other land arrangements, cruises, etc. in order to create packages and special holiday in destinations. In vice-versa, it established contacts for the future career for me because I can meet with new friends and different people in the same time and meet face-to-face with public officials and decision makers. I think I would like to be tour operator somewhere.  Problems I have encountered in handling my job assignment The problem that I face with in my company is about my duty in weekends. However, I always deal with it and try to solve it by myself. It’s concerned with the tasks that my supervisor assigns as following the lists:  Problem with photocopier: When I use a photocopier to duplicate documents, I always make a mistake to put the paper with wrong putting that make the photocopier paralyze. I can’t put paper out and always ask my supervisor for help.  Transferring the picture to other computers have problem: I cannot put pictures that cannot synchronize to share other computer though server

Thus, I request the suggestion from my supervisor for help. The fact it’s that only my computer isn’t able to via one another because of virus.  Document creating problem: I put the mistaken documents to my supervisor because I don’t remember that after checking, I keep them in which files.  My own physical problem: When I welcome tourists at the airport for check in, I can’t assist them to carry their baggage because it’s large and heavy more than my physical power  Misspelling in English: During I complete Australia visa application for visitor. There is one question ask that do you have any sponsor or assistant to support financially? My supervisor remarks that you should fill in the space that cash and credit card. On the contrary, I spell crash instead of cash.  Communication problem: Sometime, when I try to explain something to my supervisor and coordinator staff, they don’t understand what I’m talking. I attempt to communicate to illustrate the point of problem. In my case, coordinator staff who is woman put tourist passports to me for copying and I do as she want. Anyhow, when I give her duplicated papers, she says that you don’t order the passenger’s names. In fact that I haven’t known before because the documents she hands to me no having passengers’ name order. I make a conflict with her for a while. Finally, my supervisor mediates her and me. 7.2.2 Analyze chosen topic of the organization using SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat • Theory of SWOT Analysis According to the link (http://ctb.ku.edu/en/tablecontents/sub_section_main_1049.aspx),SWOT Analysis is a tool to analyze the framework of organization to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats Specifically, SWOT is a basic method to access internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external issues (opportunities and threats). Recommendations and conclusions derived from the Pre-internship 1.1 Advantage and disadvantage of the organization ADVANTAGES • Expert Staff in operating and providing multiple tasks: It’s advantages that one staff can work in multiple tasks such as hire vehicle bus, airline reservation ticketing, pack purveyance, work as tour leader and estimate the costs of program. Each staff can make a tour and sell. • Variety of Products: The Company where I work for offers many services and products to have more choices for decision. There are so verities of products and services such as the, transfers, tours, hotel rooms. Especially, Bonnie Group let the tour to some countries that any tour companies rarely make such as Turkish, Republic of Bangladesh, Austria and etc. • Good policies: The regulations and rules of company open the opportunity to staffs. They can have a chance to be a tour leader because the owner of company drives them to have experiences with new things instead of work in office and everyone has the same status and receive equitability. • Good environment and atmosphere of working: I love this company so much. Every staff behaves with me well. He or she teaches me as well as mother and father and never behave rudely and cruelly. I feel that this is a second home. • Location: The location of company is not far from my home. I spend the times only 30 minutes to take a bus directly to the office. DISADVANTAGES • Lack of the clarity in position: for the company, it doesn’t clear about the position to responsibility because each staff is assigned to create itinerary, contract with customer sometimes and can be the tour leader. • Lack of progress in position: Because the company progress the work as family, profit that earn for each trip must be distributed equally. Therefore, although I work hard, it doesn’t mean that I earn more salary. • Lack of advance technology equipment and technician: In my company, printers and computers look old and have viruses. Therefore, often, my supervisor must contact with computer technician to repair and install new driver. Sometime, it must to back up new date because there are any files that are important. 1.2 Benefit from the pre-internship I would like to explain my feeling that I earn a lot of things in company, included working and life experiences. Thus, I appreciate to elucidate the advantages of pre-internship as following the lists: • Social adjustment and problem solving skills: I learn how to work for other people in company. Some people want me to work for them to finish the task more quickly because if I deal with them sluggishly and slowly, they will blame me sometimes. Others love me to work for their tasks slowly but more qualitatively. Therefore, I choose to deal with tasks urgently and others respectively. Also, I think I have more adaptation with people in company than the first time I adjust myself to conform with college friend because I spent two or three days to make friends.

(Tourism Industry) International College, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Tel: + 66 (0) 2 1601200 Fax: +66 (0) 2 1601199 www.ssruic.com • My future career: Two months that I work for the company remind me to think about future occupations, for when I work as operation, I feel pleasure and happy with my reason that I love reading documents and checking tour program that allow me to see the novelty of attractions and places so likely as I travel; it’s possible that I would have experienced to participate the trips such as familiarization trip to study the tourist attractions and contact with new friends. • The academic strength: I think that the work procedure in company enchants my academic strength. I understood how tour guides conduct tours and handle bad clients, what the detail of electronic ticket is, how to adjust myself to workplace and what the tourism products company has. All knowledge that I earned increase the knowledge from the past that I studied in the classroom. 1.3 Problem implication The problem that I face with in my company is about my duty in weekends following lists in each bullet:  Problem with Tour-pro system: When I accessed Tour-pro system to revise the information of clients such as client’s list, the hotel for staying and etc. The program didn’t activate because there were too many staffs that were using this program.  Transferring the picture to other computers have problem: I couldn’t put pictures that were synchronize between my computer and other computers by me for sharing though server of company; too many users were using.  Misspelling in English: During I completed Australia visa application for visitor. There was one question ask that “Do you have any sponsor or assistant to support financially? My supervisor said that you ought to complete in the blanket with these words such as cash and credit card. On the contrary, I spelled mistakenly the word “crash” instead of “cash”. 1.4 Problem solution and recommendation  Problem with Tour-pro system: I think that technician should check about constancy of problem because the office employees must use it. Eventually, I try to connect the program every second and success to connect the tour –pro system because when one employee exits the program, I can connect to the program.  Transferring the picture to other computers have problem: In my perspective, technician should check about the limitation capacity of numbers of users and improve the signal volume to make accession faster.  Misspelling in English: I revise the visa applications that I have already completed. 1.5 Attitude toward this career after the pre-internship The first time before I attain in pre-internship, I think tour operator is very difficult and I don’t like it because I must not have more accurate in information about the tourist attractions. After working around two months in the company, I think it’s different, for I can use internet to find information and read at the same time after I experience with the duties of tour operator. My duties that I do during pre-internship are to check passports, program tour and documents are able not to avoid. Every paper must not mistake because it was affected with one trip or tour. Therefore, I must have concentration. As completing my work, my supervisor is always
