CHAPTER 1: INTRODUTION
1.1 Summary about internship
In the context of global economy, Vietnam is making the biggest effort to keep
with rich countries and to become a great nation in the world. Today, with the
development of national industrialization and modernization, tourism has become one
of the key industries bring major cultural and economic values to Vietnam. Vietnam
tourism is increasingly developing and plays a big role in Vietnamese economy. This
has resulted in establishing and improving many tourism companies in Vietnam.
Among the companies, Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd, in Ho
Chi Minh City has its contribution to the development of tourism in Ho Chi Minh and
it is becoming a trusting destination of domestic and foreign tourists.
Participating in the internship at Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading
Co. Ltd is a valuable opportunity for me to practice my English knowledge,
communicate skill and learn experience and soft skills from everybody in the
company. I think that company is an ideal organization that students of foreign
languages can collect information, and get valuable experience of work.
My internship position was a tour guide. My main job tasks include:
 Prepares for tour by studying itinerary, points of interest, local history, and
customs, arranging contacts and emergency assistance
 Prepares itinerary by confirming route, stops, transportation, and
accommodations, determining optional points of interest and activities.
 Welcomes tour clients by greeting them, providing directions, offering
refreshments, providing information, answering questions, verifying required
papers and personal responsibilities
 Provides for clients’ comfort by arranging meals, accommodations, personal
facilities, luggage, customs, currency, and similar requirements.
 Provides for clients’ pleasure by arranging recreation, special tours,
entertainment, and similar options.
 Completes reports by entering required information.
 Maintains quality service by following tour standards.

Moreover, with this job, I could be better contracting with everybody. I have to
sympathize and listen to all requests from visitors. The most interested things I found
out that there are many foreign customers like French, British, and Australian... and I
think this is a wonderful opportunity for me to practice my English and my
communication skills.

2009, located at 305/1 Tran Phu Street, Ward 08, 5 District, Ho Chi Minh City
Although newly formed ephemeral but the firm is evaluated as potential for
capture the development needs of today's society.
The initial companies business activities in the field of bidding the construction
works, but after while operations have extended the transportation market, travel and
ticket office.
Beside the business operation, the company has often participated funding for
humanitarian programs, community activities such as humanitarian blood donation
programs, aid flood victims...
Goals to continue development of the company is focus on promoting online
business: booking tour service and payment online, hotel reservation service, car
reservations online. Accept payment by cards, the diverse local card, visa card, master
card... on the leading payment portal in Vietnam and the world... the exploitation of
new tourist destinations like Australia, Japan, and Korea …

Look at the diagram above administration we saw the company is organized
according to the structure-function online. The Board of Directors the company

To expand the market, the company has links with other traveling, enhancing
advertising and marketing have specific policy, reasonable with you ...
Due to the scope of operation increasingly expanded with rich products have
attracted a growing clientele. However, the clients of the company mainly domestic
customers with low liquidity and a part of the international guests that mostly Chinese
guests.
To promote creative, initiative and capacity of the Department, the company
needs to have the labor discipline rules, processing rules violation and reward,
regulation of environmental hygiene. create a text called: "corporate law".
2.1.4 Advantages and disadvantages of business
After the time I have worked at the company, I realized that some advantages and
disadvantages of this company.
Advantages:
 Company is located in one of the central districts of the Ho Chi Minh City so
they should facilitate transactions with customers.
 Company has enthusiastic staffs, good customer services.
Disadvantages:
 The owner does not know English so it is very difficult for him to train for
staffs and communicate with foreign customers.
Solution:
Here is my solution for the problem I above mentioned recruit:
 Both of the owner and staffs should be improve their English skills. It will help
company growth more and more.

CHAPTER 3: CONTENTS OF THE INTERNSHIP
3.1.Job description
My job is as a tourist guide of the company. What do you think about this job?
Tour guide practice is not simple, but also not too difficult as you and me think. When
I come to Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd, I have another better
look at this interesting job. At here, I have learned many things. How to become a tour
guide? This is the question that I always try to answer. Therefore, I think that tour
guide is a very interesting and wonderful job.
The first day, I just follow tour guide of company on the trips. I survey and write
down anything that tour guides have to do with their tourists. I think that I am like a
tourist on the trips. As far as I see, a tour guide have to show visitors around places of
intereseting, such as towns, cities, historic buildings, gardens, forests, mountians,
lakes, waterfalls, religious sites or museums, and art galleries. What do you think
about that? I think that if I am not a knowledgeable tour guide, I will not do this job.
After 5 days, I now realize everything seems to become more complicated. I realize
tour guide’s duty is very much, such as:
 Receive the program via email and discuss how to operate the program with the
staff.
 Get a list of groups / guests, the name of the director and a list of classified rooms;
driver name and contact telephone number.
 Guide the tourists to the destinations.
 During the trip, the tourist guides have to wear a badges as specified.
 Provide care, advice and support to tourists as according to the schedule.
 Provide support, guidance and help to tourists so that they get accustomed with
services, including food, resting, transporation.
 Pay for valid invoices defined by laws as planned.
 Follow the guidance and assume the responsibilities of a tourist guide defined by
the company.
 Report to the tour operator if anything happens and wait for his/her solutions.

Tourist guide is a quite interesting and busy job to me.
Moreover, with this job, I could be better contacting with everyone. Furthermore, I
also learn to satisfy the difficult visitors, and understand their demands quickly. I must
be patient and harmony. I have to sympathize and listen to all requests from visitors.
In summary, this is a job which helps me have a good knowledge of tourist, learn
by experience of tourist guide in company and be able to communicate well. It make
me change my thoughts and it give me have much experience of this job.
I spend six weeks on training in Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co.
Ltd. Each week, I go to the company from two to three days, almost time I spend on
tours. The office is not closed at the weekend, but those day is very busy to a tour
guide. To a tourist guide, he/she has not a office time clearly. You have to ready to
work anytime, anywhere…
3.2.Using English for tourism at Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading

3.2.1.Process and diary
Week 1: August 15th
, 2018 to August 21th
, 2018
 Wednesday, 8:30 am, start the trip, follow Mr.Hung (a tourist guide), pick up
guests at the meeting point and start the tour to visit two famous waterfalls
of D’ray Nur and D’ray Sap (It takes around one hour to get the waterfalls.
Tourists can swim or bathe there, catch the breeze, take some pictures and
sightsee these two waterfalls).
 9:30 am, next, visit an Ede Village (near the falls) to explore the Matriarchal
Society of Ede.
 10:30 am, visit Coffee Plantation and a Coffee Factory on the way to let visitors
to know how the local people process the coffee.
 11:30 am, have lunch at a local restaurant. And take a rest (about two hours).
 1:30 pm, continuely, visit water wharf of Ede, Kotam Village.

 3:00 pm, visit a Trung Nguyen Coffee village. At here, You and I can try to drink
a lots of types of coffee and, certainly, you and I can enjoy the best coffee in
Vietnam, especially, weasel coffee from Ede.
 5:30 pm, go to Ban Me Thuat market (It takes around one hours to get visit and
buy something that. After that, end of the services.
Week 2: August 22nd
, 2018 to August 28th
, 2018.
 Sunday, 8:00 am, start the trip, with Mr.Hung and tourists, depart for Yok Don
national park (one of the largest parks in Vietnam with the covering of 115.545
ha). Walk for three hours deep into the junggel to explore the flora and fauna
system there.
 11:30 am, have a picnic lunch in the forest.
 12:15 am, off the park, travel up stream on the S’repok river by motor – boats (
about 45 minutes) to explore the daily activities of the local people who live
along the banks. During the trip, we can see a lot of animals.
 1:00 pm, off the motor – boat trip, visit Yang Lanh village to discover and share
the cultures, particular in customs and traditions of the Ede, M’nong, and
Laos,…
 4:00 pm, have a little time for drive elephant, after that, go to coffee’s garden
and pepper’s plantation and come back Ban Me Thuot City.
Week 3: August 29th
, 2018 to September 6th
, 2018
 Wednesday, 8:00 am, follow Ms. Vy (a tourist guide), pick up tourists at the
hotel and depart for Yok Don national park.
 11:30 am, have a lunch in the forest.
 12:30 am, travel up to stream on the S’repok river by motor – boats
 1:30 pm, visit Yang lanh village to meet Ede, M’nong, Laos,…
 4:00 pm, drive on elephant.
 6:00 pm, have a dinner at home’s Ede. After dinner, join in Ede’s concert and
spend all of night in their long house.

 Thursday, 7:00 am, get up and go to the jungle with elephant caretaker. At here,
watch elephant feeding and washing, and drive elephant to cross river
 11:30 am, have lunch and take a rest
 1:00 pm, visit the tomb of elenphants. After that, watch how local people
caught and tame the wild elephants in natural forest.
 5:00 pm, come back to Buon Ma Thuot City.
Week 4: September 7th

, 2018.
 No working.
Week 5: September 14th
, 2018 to September 20th
, 2018
 Wednesday, 8:00 am, start the trip, pick up tourist at the hotel and transfer to
Lak lake (tourists can stop along the roadsides for sightseeing and taking
pictures.
 When arrive the next meeting point, ride elenphant to cross Lak lake. after that,
travel around the Lak lake by motor – boats to get some fresh air and to take
some pictures. Next, visit some villages of M’nong and R’lam.
 11h30 am, have a special party at a local restaurant and take a rest in hammock.
 1:30 pm, continue the trip, visit two famous waterfalls (D’ray Nur and D’ray
Sap). After the walk, try to enjoy an ice coffee cup.
 4h30 pm, come back to Buon Ma Thuot City and go to market.

English is the main language of international communication and is essential for
people working in the tourism industry. English is the primary language of the tourism
industry across the globe. So english is very important to a tourist guide.
At Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd, I really have a good
time there. I have learned manything as the key vocabulary, skills needed to speak
english with tourists. Especially, I see that speaking is most important, then listening,
reading and writing. To tourist guides, when they have a tour with foreign tourists,
they have to use English to give information, provide services and offer help. During
english practice time, It helps me in local tourism industry to improve my english
communication skill as a really tourist guide. In addition, this course also give me a
wider understanding of local tourism industry as well as equip me with useful soft
skills when working with tourists. At here, I am developed my english language,
study, research and using skills.
When I have ability to speak english while I practise at Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist
Service and Trading Co. Ltd. I can enhance my understanding of the history and cuture
of local sector in Vietnam and another countries. Time for study at Hong Bang
University help me develop knowledge of english to use in the workplace. When I
view everyone work at office and on tour, I recognize that there is an amazing new
way to learn a language. That is seeing what everyone is talking about.
I really love to work at this company. In working hours, I implement regulations,
listen admonition of other person, obey advice of tourist guide of company. Besides,
When I begin my practice in the office, a lots of people help me about working such as
read reports, translate documents, listen request of tourists, …
During doing internship, I also have to face many difficults and challenges.
Learning in the university environment is compelety different than practising at Minh
Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd. Apart from knowledge is written on
books, there are many other requirements that a student must practice. I need to learn
from tourist guides in company so much. I have to adjust my schedule to fit with the
regulations of company. Especiall, with a tourist guide, I do not have clearly office
hours. Afraid to communicate is a big barrier for me now when I contact with a

professional work environment. I have many dificult to satisfy the difficult tourists. I
cannot understand the tourists when they say something that quickly. In addition, I
also difficult to read and understand some documents and advertising leaflets., to make
a good relationship with partners in office and tourist guides in the local.

3.4. English for tour guides.
While I internship in this company, I have been practicing and experimenting
great job that is guide customers to attractive destination. I have been applying
translation theory which I have learned at the university into the internship.
The employees in this company guided me how to become good English
communication people, capable of convincing and guiding clients.
Mr. Phan Sang - tour guide of Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co.
Ltd said: “People skills are at the fore of the touring industry as you will be working
with all kinds of people every day. The tours eventually get mundane and can become
boring if you visit the same museum over and over again, but it is the people who
change and make it interesting, and in turn you have to show them that you are just as
interested as they are by the sights and attractions that you are showing them.
Remember this is probably the first time, they have ever seen these attractions, so your
job is to be excited with them, and make them feel comfortable.”
Firstly I must have good language skills:
Being good at languages is another great skill that tour guides should have.
While you are not required to speak another language at many companies, it is
something that is becoming more and more popular nowadays, as international tours
are increasing in the United States and around the world. If you can speak a second
language you will stand a better chance of being hired, and if you speak more
languages, then that is even better. Foreign languages can be taken as online courses or
you can often attend night classes to learn another language. With a foreign language
you will not only be qualified to lead international tour groups around America, but
you can also travel with an American group to that particular country as you can
communicate with the locals and make the travel experience that much easier and
more enjoyable for the group. Even if you can only speak a little of the language, this
is enough for some tour companies, so mention this in your job applications.
Second are excellent public speaking and narration skills:
You will generally be speaking in front of a huge group of people on most of the
tours you lead. Groups can have anywhere from 10 to 60 people, so you have to

understand the basic principles of public speaking. It is a great idea to do a
Toastmaster's course or public speaking course so that you get more comfortable with
addressing people in a relaxing and engaging way. You should learn how to speak
clearly, how to project your voice, how to talk calmly and slowly so that people can
understand you, and also learn how to control your breathing so that you don't get
tired. Narration falls into this category somewhat, because it has to do with speaking to
your group, but narration is far more than just public speaking. It knows how to relate
a story to someone. Story telling is one of the key elements of guiding tours, especially
in historically significant towns or areas where lots of interesting events have taken
place. Narration is all about being enthusiastic, capturing your audience's attention and
allowing the tourists to feel as though they are part of the story.
One tour guide explains that it can be a challenge when you first have to do the
commentary on tours:
"It is nerve-wracking and scary to stand up in front of all those people and speak.
It does get easier though and eventually you learn to improvise and add in a few of
your own stories and extra bits of info you come across. You are just talking and if you
think about the commentary as though you are just speaking to a group of your
friends, it makes you relax and you gain confidence."
One important part of narrating to people is to not overwhelm them with facts
and figures. Dates are important to know, but it is not interesting for people to listen to
lists of dates. Rather make it more interesting by formulating a story around it. I think
that tour guides should find stories around the sights or areas that they are showing. It
doesn't have to be long, just a line or two, but something that will capture people's
attention and imagination. She says that, for example, instead of listing dates that
certain structures were built, you could rather tie in the building of a monument with
other things that happened in history such as the ending of a war perhaps.
Another tour guide, Ms. Le Ngoc Han, stresses the importance of throwing in
some fascinating facts and additional information to your narration.
"If someone asks me, "Is that the accelerator there?" I don't simply say yes and
leave it at that. I throw in some extras, for example, I say, 'Well, that it just a part of it.

The actual beam is roughly 25 feet underground. But to power the beam we use 240
klystrons. See those machines over there with the red cylinders? They are located
above the beam in this shed which 2 miles long and actually the longest building in the
world. In fact it is around 10 feet longer than the Hong Kong airport terminal! Any
fascinating fact is great to share and gives visitors that wow factor, which guides
enjoy as well."
Finally is excellent problem solving skills:
Just like any job, problems tend to arise, but when you are on a tour with a group
of people to look after, the problems can sometimes be quite big. Problems could
range from tour buses breaking down and leaving the group stranded to one of the
passengers getting ill and needing to get rushed to the hospital. Problems can also be
small ones, like a passenger complaining that they are too hot, or some members of the
group arguing. You have to be a good problem solver if you hope to be a good tour
guide, and know how to deal with anything that comes your way quickly and
effortlessly. Companies have to know that they can trust whoever they hire to handle
any situation efficiently and effectively.
3.5. The translation methods at the company
In the process I learned to practice and applied some effective methods such:
Word translation method , word meanings and literal translation : because I have to
translate the important documents, I can’t make mistakes , have not seen the new
words. Through a document I learned many words, but based on its context must
translate to fit and effective to change the translation. Besides, in the process of having
a foreign partner with leaders , I used simultaneous translation method : when the
partners say about two or three sentences then stop and I will translate for his
leadership listening , to understand and negotiate with partners , but when they talk so
fast I have to catch and tag -based gestures and gestures while they say I can
understand what they are saying . In addition, the company also translates by the
online, it is very quickly, but it is not good and at times, it changed the original
meaning of the text, the contract.

3.6..The remark
I think humility plus inquisitive way of speaking are skills necessary for a
student to practice as they can quickly establish relationships with colleagues and
superiors whether professional skills not high but there is a desire to learn will make
contacts with such sympathy in the course of practice, working children get the help
from everyone to complete their assigned tasks.
Through the internship with the application of the knowledge learned in school
into practice gave knowledge and skills of a professional business enterprises elevated,
this will help very many for children after school.
To try to complete the work quickly, right. Not affect the prestige of the
company.
3.7.Significance of the internship
Through internships at the company, I noticed an travel guides is quite
interesting. In the past the practice, I was the guide and very enthusiastic. I am actively
working on and completing tasks. As an intern, in the fact I've learned many
experiences, proactively discuss when would don't understand about the job, boldly of
communicating over. With this position, the capacity of the work itself is very
accurately through the degree of completion of the work assigned. I'm glad I finished
well in the internship.

The two sides agreed to sign a contract to supply and use of travel services subject to
the terms as follows:
ARTICLE I: TRAVEL SERVICE PROVIDERS

1. Party B provide services to Party A travel program with the following contents:
- Destination: Phan Thiet city
- Time: 7:30 am – 9/11/2017 to 4:00 pm – 10/11/2017
- The number of people going: 11
- The pick-up: 305/1 Tran Phu Street, Ward 08, 5 District, Ho Chi Minh City
- The paying guests: 305/1 Tran Phu Street, Ward 08, 5 District, Ho Chi Minh City
2. The detailed program and the quality of services related to this contract.
ARTICLE II: PRICE AND PAYMENT METHODS
1. Package price for each Member to join the program are: detailed Price attached
to this contract.
2. The total value of the contract is: 10.000.000 VND
3. Party A party B for the advance amount: 70% of the total value of the contract.
4. The remaining amount will be paid to Party B within 03 days after termination of
the contract and according to the actual trip.
5. Forms of payment: Cash
(If paying by USD will be converted at the exchange rate of the Bank of Industry and
Commerce at the time of payment)
6. Price does not include VAT:
ARTICLE III: RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF PARTY A
A. A has the right to:
1. Requests Parties B provide the services in accordance with article 1 and the detailed
schedule is attached.
2. to request Parties to confidential information in B of the contract.
3. Requests Parties B provide the information necessary for the implementation of the
contract.
4. Change the program prior to the time of departure must be the consent of the Parties
B.
B. A is obliged to:
1. Provide exactly the information involved in the contract.
2. Use the services in accordance with the purposes and terms of commitment.

3. Immediately notify the change and cooperation with the party B resolve the
problems arise before, during and after the implementation of contracts.
4. Compensation of 50% of the total contract value if cancel the contract immediately
after signing.
ARTICLE IV: RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF PARTY B
A. B has the right to:
1. In case of force majeure or objective reasons could not overcome party B has the
right to rearrange the program, schedule accordingly or cancel and must immediately
notify party A.
2. Not to make a part or the whole of the contract if due to the change of A party that
did not reach the agreement or notice and be compensated for damage.
B. B is obliged to:
1. Guidance, support for A party the necessary procedures for the trip, confirmed on
services departing and the price for A party.
2. implementing the reservation of hotels, transport and other services as stated in the
program.Party B will have to bear all expenses ate, slept, transport, to solve all arising
about the financial and human for A party in the case made a mistake.
3. Reimbursement of 50% of the total value of the contract if not perform the contract
without belonging to the scope of article 3, paragraph A of section 1 of this agreement.
ARTICLE V: DISPUTE RESOLUTION, COMPLAINTS
1. Complaints and disputes of the two parties in the process of implementing this
contract will try to resolve it through negotiations, negotiations in the spirit of
goodwill, mutual benefit, lowest limit damage to each side.
2. In case the attempt which could not solved then brings out the Economic Court of
the city of Hanoi to resolve under the patent law, any expenses, damages due to the
loser.
ARTICLE VI: GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. The two parties undertake to comply with the terms above. If either party
breaches will be responsible before the other party and to the law.
2. This contract made in 02 copies, each hold 01, have the same legal value and is
valid from the date of signing.

Hai bên thoả thuận ký hợp đồng cung cấp và sử dụng dịch vụ du lịch theo các điều
khoản như sau:
ĐIỀU I: CUNG CẤP DỊCH VỤ DU LỊCH
1. Bên B cung cấp cho bên A các dịch vụ chương trình du lịch theo nội dung sau:
- Tuyến điểm thăm quan: Phan Thiet
- Thời gian : 7h30 – 9/11/2017 đến 16h – 10/11/2017
- Số lượng người đi: 11
- Điểm đón khách: 54L đường Phú Mỹ, phường Tân Thuận, quận 7, TpHCM
- Điểm trả khách: 54L đường Phú Mỹ, phường Tân Thuận, quận 7, TpHCM
2. Chương trình chi tiết và mức chất lượng dịch vụ kèm theo hợp đồng này.
ĐIỀU II: GIÁ CẢ VÀ PHƯƠNG THỨC THANH TOÁN
1. Giá trọn gói cho mỗi thành viên tham gia chương trình là: Giá chi tiết kèm theo hợp
đồng này.
2. Tổng giá trị hợp đồng là: 10.000.000 VND
3. Bên A tạm ứng trước cho bên B số tiền là: 70% tổng giá trị hợp đồng.
Bằng chữ:
4. Số tiền còn lại sẽ được thanh toán cho bên B trong vòng 03 ngày sau ngày kết thúc
hợp đồng và theo thực tế chuyến đi.
5. Hình thức thanh toán: Tiền mặt
(Nếu thanh toán qua USD sẽ quy đổi theo tỷ giá của Ngân hàng Công Thương tại thời
điểm thanh toán)
6. Giá trên chưa bao gồm thuế VAT:
ĐIỀU III: QUYỀN VÀ NGHĨA VỤ BÊN A
A.Bên A có quyền:
1. Yêu cầu bên B cung cấp các dịch vụ theo điều 1 và chi tiết lịch trình kèm theo.
2. Yêu cầu bên B bảo mật các thông tin trong hợp đồng.
3. Yêu cầu bên B cung cấp các thông tin cần thiết cho việc thực hiện hợp đồng.
4. Thay đổi chương trình trước thời điểm khởi hành phải được sự đồng ý của Bên B.
B.Bên A có nghĩa vụ:

1. Cung cấp chính xác các thông tin liên quan trong hợp đồng.
2. Sử dụng các dịch vụ du lịch theo đúng mục đích và điều khoản đã cam kết.
3. Thông báo ngay những thay đổi và hợp tác với bên B giải quyết những vấn đề phát
sinh trước, trong và sau khi thực hiện hợp đồng.
4. Bồi thường 50% tổng giá trị hợp đồng nếu huỷ bỏ hợp đồng ngay sau khi ký kết.
ĐIỀU IV: QUYỀN VÀ NGHĨA VỤ BÊN B
A.Bên B có quyền:
1. Trong trường hợp bất khả kháng hay lý do khách quan không thể khắc phục được
bên B có quyền sắp xếp lại chương trình, lịch trình cho phù hợp hoặc huỷ bỏ và phải
thông báo ngay cho bên A.
2. Không thực hiện một phần hay toàn bộ hợp đồng nếu do sự thay đổi của bên A mà
không đạt được sự thoả thuận hay thông báo trước và được đền bù mọi thiệt hại.
B.Bên B có nghĩa vụ:
1. Hướng dẫn, hỗ trợ cho bên A những thủ tục cần thiết cho chuyến đi, xác nhận các
dịch vụ, ngày khởi hành đi và giá cả cho bên A.
2. Triển khai đặt phòng khách sạn, phương tiện vận chuyển và các dịch vụ khác đã nêu
trong chương trình. Bên B sẽ phải chịu mọi khoản chi phí ăn, ngủ, vận chuyển, giải
quyết mọi phát sinh về con người và tài chính cho bên A trong trường hợp làm sai hợp
đồng.
3. Bồi hoàn 50% tổng trị giá hợp đồng nếu không thực hiện hợp đồng mà không thuộc
phạm vi điều 3, khoản A mục 1 của hợp đồng này.
ĐIỀU V: GIẢI QUYẾT TRANH CHẤP, KHIẾU NẠI
1. Các khiếu nại và tranh chấp của hai bên trong quá trình thực hiện hợp đồng này sẽ
cố gắng giải quyết thông qua thương lượng, đàm phán theo tinh thần thiện chí, cùng có
lợi, hạn chế thấp nhất thiệt hại cho mỗi bên.
2. Trong trường hợp những cố gắng đó không thể giải quyết được thì sẽ đưa ra Toà án
kinh tế Thành Phố Hà Nội để giải quyết theo các chế tài pháp luật, mọi phí tổn, thiệt
hại do bên thua chịu.
ĐIỀU VI: NHỮNG ĐIỀU KHOẢN CHUNG

1. Hai bên cam kết thực hiện đúng các điều khoản nêu trên. Nếu bên nào vi phạm sẽ
chịu trách nhiệm trước bên kia và trước pháp luật.
2. Hợp đồng này lập thành 02 bản, mỗi bên giữ 01 bản, có giá trị pháp lý như nhau và
có hiệu lực kể từ ngày ký.

CHAPTER 5: CONCLUSION
On the whole, this internship was a useful experience. I have gained new
knowledge, skills and met many new people. I achieved several of my learning goals,
however for some the conditions did not permit.
I got insight into professional practice. I learned the different facets of working. I
experienced that financing, as in many organizations, is an important factor for the
progress of projects.
The internship was also good to find out what my strengths and weaknesses are.
This helped me to define what skills and knowledge I have to improve in the coming
time. It would be better that the knowledge level of the language is sufficient to
contribute fully to projects. It would also be better if I can present and express myself
more confidently.
I think the limited practice time in two months is too short for me to understand
the role and responsibilities of translator in the future. I hope that the practice will have
more time for me to be exposed to conditions environment dynamic.
At last this internship has given me new insights and motivation to pursue a
career in the future.

Vietnam tourism is increasingly developing and plays a big role in Vietnamese economy. This has resulted in establishing and improving many tourism companies in Vietnam. Among the companies, Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd, in Ho Chi Minh City has its contribution to the development of tourism in Ho Chi Minh and it is becoming a trusting destination of domestic and foreign tourists. Participating in the internship at Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd is a valuable opportunity for me to practice my English knowledge, communicate skill and learn experience and soft skills from everybody in the company. I think that company is an ideal organization that students of foreign languages can collect information, and get valuable experience of work. My internship position was a tour guide. My main job tasks include:  Prepares for tour by studying itinerary, points of interest, local history, and customs, arranging contacts and emergency assistance  Prepares itinerary by confirming route, stops, transportation, and accommodations, determining optional points of interest and activities.  Welcomes tour clients by greeting them, providing directions, offering refreshments, providing information, answering questions, verifying required papers and personal responsibilities  Provides for clients’ comfort by arranging meals, accommodations, personal facilities, luggage, customs, currency, and similar requirements.  Provides for clients’ pleasure by arranging recreation, special tours, entertainment, and similar options.  Completes reports by entering required information.  Maintains quality service by following tour standards.

What do you think about this job? Tour guide practice is not simple, but also not too difficult as you and me think. When I come to Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd, I have another better look at this interesting job. At here, I have learned many things. How to become a tour guide? This is the question that I always try to answer. Therefore, I think that tour guide is a very interesting and wonderful job. The first day, I just follow tour guide of company on the trips. I survey and write down anything that tour guides have to do with their tourists. I think that I am like a tourist on the trips. As far as I see, a tour guide have to show visitors around places of intereseting, such as towns, cities, historic buildings, gardens, forests, mountians, lakes, waterfalls, religious sites or museums, and art galleries. What do you think about that? I think that if I am not a knowledgeable tour guide, I will not do this job. After 5 days, I now realize everything seems to become more complicated. I realize tour guide’s duty is very much, such as:  Receive the program via email and discuss how to operate the program with the staff.  Get a list of groups / guests, the name of the director and a list of classified rooms; driver name and contact telephone number.  Guide the tourists to the destinations.  During the trip, the tourist guides have to wear a badges as specified.  Provide care, advice and support to tourists as according to the schedule.  Provide support, guidance and help to tourists so that they get accustomed with services, including food, resting, transporation.  Pay for valid invoices defined by laws as planned.  Follow the guidance and assume the responsibilities of a tourist guide defined by the company.  Report to the tour operator if anything happens and wait for his/her solutions.

In summary, this is a job which helps me have a good knowledge of tourist, learn by experience of tourist guide in company and be able to communicate well. It make me change my thoughts and it give me have much experience of this job. I spend six weeks on training in Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd. Each week, I go to the company from two to three days, almost time I spend on tours. The office is not closed at the weekend, but those day is very busy to a tour guide. To a tourist guide, he/she has not a office time clearly. You have to ready to work anytime, anywhere… 3.2.Using English for tourism at Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd 3.2.1.Process and diary Week 1: August 15th , 2018 to August 21th , 2018  Wednesday, 8:30 am, start the trip, follow Mr.Hung (a tourist guide), pick up guests at the meeting point and start the tour to visit two famous waterfalls of D’ray Nur and D’ray Sap (It takes around one hour to get the waterfalls. Tourists can swim or bathe there, catch the breeze, take some pictures and sightsee these two waterfalls).  9:30 am, next, visit an Ede Village (near the falls) to explore the Matriarchal Society of Ede.  10:30 am, visit Coffee Plantation and a Coffee Factory on the way to let visitors to know how the local people process the coffee.  11:30 am, have lunch at a local restaurant. And take a rest (about two hours).  1:30 pm, continuely, visit water wharf of Ede, Kotam Village.

Week 2: August 22nd , 2018 to August 28th , 2018.  Sunday, 8:00 am, start the trip, with Mr.Hung and tourists, depart for Yok Don national park (one of the largest parks in Vietnam with the covering of 115.545 ha). Walk for three hours deep into the junggel to explore the flora and fauna system there.  11:30 am, have a picnic lunch in the forest.  12:15 am, off the park, travel up stream on the S’repok river by motor – boats ( about 45 minutes) to explore the daily activities of the local people who live along the banks. During the trip, we can see a lot of animals.  1:00 pm, off the motor – boat trip, visit Yang Lanh village to discover and share the cultures, particular in customs and traditions of the Ede, M’nong, and Laos,…  4:00 pm, have a little time for drive elephant, after that, go to coffee’s garden and pepper’s plantation and come back Ban Me Thuot City. Week 3: August 29th , 2018 to September 6th , 2018  Wednesday, 8:00 am, follow Ms. Vy (a tourist guide), pick up tourists at the hotel and depart for Yok Don national park.  11:30 am, have a lunch in the forest.  12:30 am, travel up to stream on the S’repok river by motor – boats  1:30 pm, visit Yang lanh village to meet Ede, M’nong, Laos,…  4:00 pm, drive on elephant.  6:00 pm, have a dinner at home’s Ede. After dinner, join in Ede’s concert and spend all of night in their long house.

After that, watch how local people caught and tame the wild elephants in natural forest.  5:00 pm, come back to Buon Ma Thuot City. Week 4: September 7th , 2018 to September 13th , 2018.  No working. Week 5: September 14th , 2018 to September 20th , 2018  Wednesday, 8:00 am, start the trip, pick up tourist at the hotel and transfer to Lak lake (tourists can stop along the roadsides for sightseeing and taking pictures.  When arrive the next meeting point, ride elenphant to cross Lak lake. after that, travel around the Lak lake by motor – boats to get some fresh air and to take some pictures. Next, visit some villages of M’nong and R’lam.  11h30 am, have a special party at a local restaurant and take a rest in hammock.  1:30 pm, continue the trip, visit two famous waterfalls (D’ray Nur and D’ray Sap). Ltd, I really have a good time there. I have learned manything as the key vocabulary, skills needed to speak english with tourists. Especially, I see that speaking is most important, then listening, reading and writing. To tourist guides, when they have a tour with foreign tourists, they have to use English to give information, provide services and offer help. During english practice time, It helps me in local tourism industry to improve my english communication skill as a really tourist guide. In addition, this course also give me a wider understanding of local tourism industry as well as equip me with useful soft skills when working with tourists. At here, I am developed my english language, study, research and using skills. When I have ability to speak english while I practise at Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd. I can enhance my understanding of the history and cuture of local sector in Vietnam and another countries. Time for study at Hong Bang University help me develop knowledge of english to use in the workplace. When I view everyone work at office and on tour, I recognize that there is an amazing new way to learn a language. That is seeing what everyone is talking about. I really love to work at this company. In working hours, I implement regulations, listen admonition of other person, obey advice of tourist guide of company. Besides, When I begin my practice in the office, a lots of people help me about working such as read reports, translate documents, listen request of tourists, … During doing internship, I also have to face many difficults and challenges. Learning in the university environment is compelety different than practising at Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd. Apart from knowledge is written on books, there are many other requirements that a student must practice. I need to learn from tourist guides in company so much. I have to adjust my schedule to fit with the regulations of company. Especiall, with a tourist guide, I do not have clearly office hours. The employees in this company guided me how to become good English communication people, capable of convincing and guiding clients. Mr. Phan Sang - tour guide of Minh Ngoc Phan Tourist Service and Trading Co. Ltd said: “People skills are at the fore of the touring industry as you will be working with all kinds of people every day. The tours eventually get mundane and can become boring if you visit the same museum over and over again, but it is the people who change and make it interesting, and in turn you have to show them that you are just as interested as they are by the sights and attractions that you are showing them. Remember this is probably the first time, they have ever seen these attractions, so your job is to be excited with them, and make them feel comfortable.” Firstly I must have good language skills: Being good at languages is another great skill that tour guides should have. While you are not required to speak another language at many companies, it is something that is becoming more and more popular nowadays, as international tours are increasing in the United States and around the world. If you can speak a second language you will stand a better chance of being hired, and if you speak more languages, then that is even better. Foreign languages can be taken as online courses or you can often attend night classes to learn another language. With a foreign language you will not only be qualified to lead international tour groups around America, but you can also travel with an American group to that particular country as you can communicate with the locals and make the travel experience that much easier and more enjoyable for the group. Even if you can only speak a little of the language, this is enough for some tour companies, so mention this in your job applications. Second are excellent public speaking and narration skills: You will generally be speaking in front of a huge group of people on most of the tours you lead. Groups can have anywhere from 10 to 60 people, so you have to

You are just talking and if you think about the commentary as though you are just speaking to a group of your friends, it makes you relax and you gain confidence." One important part of narrating to people is to not overwhelm them with facts and figures. Dates are important to know, but it is not interesting for people to listen to lists of dates. Rather make it more interesting by formulating a story around it. I think that tour guides should find stories around the sights or areas that they are showing. It doesn't have to be long, just a line or two, but something that will capture people's attention and imagination. She says that, for example, instead of listing dates that certain structures were built, you could rather tie in the building of a monument with other things that happened in history such as the ending of a war perhaps. Another tour guide, Ms. Le Ngoc Han, stresses the importance of throwing in some fascinating facts and additional information to your narration. "If someone asks me, "Is that the accelerator there?" I don't simply say yes and leave it at that. I throw in some extras, for example, I say, 'Well, that it just a part of it.

Companies have to know that they can trust whoever they hire to handle any situation efficiently and effectively. 3.5. The translation methods at the company In the process I learned to practice and applied some effective methods such: Word translation method , word meanings and literal translation : because I have to translate the important documents, I can’t make mistakes , have not seen the new words. Through a document I learned many words, but based on its context must translate to fit and effective to change the translation. Besides, in the process of having a foreign partner with leaders , I used simultaneous translation method : when the partners say about two or three sentences then stop and I will translate for his leadership listening , to understand and negotiate with partners , but when they talk so fast I have to catch and tag -based gestures and gestures while they say I can understand what they are saying . Hướng dẫn, hỗ trợ cho bên A những thủ tục cần thiết cho chuyến đi, xác nhận các dịch vụ, ngày khởi hành đi và giá cả cho bên A. 2. Triển khai đặt phòng khách sạn, phương tiện vận chuyển và các dịch vụ khác đã nêu trong chương trình. Bên B sẽ phải chịu mọi khoản chi phí ăn, ngủ, vận chuyển, giải quyết mọi phát sinh về con người và tài chính cho bên A trong trường hợp làm sai hợp đồng. 3. Bồi hoàn 50% tổng trị giá hợp đồng nếu không thực hiện hợp đồng mà không thuộc phạm vi điều 3, khoản A mục 1 của hợp đồng này. ĐIỀU V: GIẢI QUYẾT TRANH CHẤP, KHIẾU NẠI 1. Các khiếu nại và tranh chấp của hai bên trong quá trình thực hiện hợp đồng này sẽ cố gắng giải quyết thông qua thương lượng, đàm phán theo tinh thần thiện chí, cùng có lợi, hạn chế thấp nhất thiệt hại cho mỗi bên. 2. Trong trường hợp những cố gắng đó không thể giải quyết được thì sẽ đưa ra Toà án kinh tế Thành Phố Hà Nội để giải quyết theo các chế tài pháp luật, mọi phí tổn, thiệt hại do bên thua chịu. I have gained new knowledge, skills and met many new people. I achieved several of my learning goals, however for some the conditions did not permit. I got insight into professional practice. I learned the different facets of working. I experienced that financing, as in many organizations, is an important factor for the progress of projects. The internship was also good to find out what my strengths and weaknesses are. This helped me to define what skills and knowledge I have to improve in the coming time. It would be better that the knowledge level of the language is sufficient to contribute fully to projects. It would also be better if I can present and express myself more confidently. I think the limited practice time in two months is too short for me to understand the role and responsibilities of translator in the future. I hope that the practice will have more time for me to be exposed to conditions environment dynamic. At last this internship has given me new insights and motivation to pursue a career in the future.
