Abstract – The water quality near to a coral reef site in
Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) was studied.
Many Physico–Chemical parameters for water samples taken at two different depths (0.5 m and 1.0
m) parallel to a coral reef site were measured and analyzed. The data showed that the pH is equal to
6.4, 6.1 respectively which indicates an acidic environment. The average of total dissolved solids

II. MATERIALS AND METHODS
Chemicals, reagents used for water analysis experiment were of Hana, HPLC grade and were stored
under dry conditions.
"HANA Spectroquant tests Kits" are used to measure the concentration of inorganic species in water
spectrophotometrically. Instruments, HI 83200 Multiparameter Bench Photometer was used to
measure the concentration of inorganic species in water at specific wavelength (λnm), using
appropriate reagents
"HANA Spectroquant test Kits" plus spectrometer in the wavelength range 190 – 1100 nm using 1
cm matched quartz cells. Sample collection, sea water samples were collected from six points

Federal Ministry of Education plays a dominant role in regulating the education sector, engaging in

In 1949, the Fitzegerald Commission into the Collery trouble articulated the idea of public
corporation. This concept was borrowed from the British labour party rationalisation of British coal
in 1947, electricity in 1949 (Tukunboh, 1990). Subsequently, in 1950s the following public
corporations were established in Nigeria: Nigeria Coal Corporation; Electricity Corporation; Nigeria
Cement Company, Nkalagu; Nigerian Railway Corporation, and Nigerian Port Authority. All these
corporations were managed by Boards. Since then more corporations have been established based
on national interest. Some state governments have also established public corporations to actualise
their developmental interests.
The term public service can be conceptualized in two ways. First it refers to the body of officials
that are involved in the administration of the agencies, services, programmes and policies of the
public sector. That is, the public servants that manage the entirety of public services. In the second
sense, the concept refers to the organizations, agencies, structures, departments and units which are
charged with and involved in public or governmental tasks, activities and functions. These include
the Civil Service, Commissions, Boards, Directorates, Parastatals, etc that are publicly owned,
