2. Main Cover Image
For the main cover image, I used a image of a person the same age and gender
as my target audience.
This is a way to attract people this age and gender as they will see themselves as
an equal to them and will be able to relate to them as a person.
The clothes and make-up worn conveys the attitude of a pop rock magazine and
will make people of this age want to dress in a similar way.
The shot is a medium shot which is at the same level as the subject and has the
person looking directly into the camera.

3. Contents Images
I used images of up and coming artists for my contents page.
The fact that they are new and young will attract my target audience as they are a
similar age to the artists and will most likely like them.
The images on the contents are also kept within the colour scheme of my
magazine which will make the magazine look more professional and neater.
The artists are also of a similar age to the upcoming artists meaning they can
relate to them more and most people of this age have an interest into the same
music.

4. Features/Regulars
The content of my magazine contains articles, interviews, gig/album reviews,
upcoming shows, competitions, etc, have been chosen to attract my target
audience as they are based around young, upcoming, on trend bands that vary
from having a small fan base to a large one.
Choosing bands and artists that are a at a similar age range to the target audience
will make the target audience believe that they can relate to them as people.

5. Gender, Region and Ethnicity
My magazine is aimed at females, however the content in the magazine is suitable
for males of a similar age too.
My magazine will be published in the Warrington area, however can be ordered
online for someone who doesn’t live in the Warrington area.
There is no certain ethnicity for my magazine and it is open to anyone.

6. Style Of Writing
I have aimed to have the language in my magazine as informal as I feel this is the
most appropriate for my target audience.
I have used words that people of that age will understand.
I have used music jargon so that music fans feel more connected to the articles
written.

7. Double Page Spread Image
My double page spread image is of my chosen band and involves them on a
keyboard which they use to perform.
The colours used in the image are black and white which have been chosen to
stay within the colour scheme of black, white and red.
The image is a mid shot with them both looking away from the camera.
