3. This magazine advert includes a lot of detail about the release of the album, including release date, name of artist, and other details about what comes inside the album package. We will need similar details on our magazine ad. Another nice point I’ve taken from this ad is the colour choices, with the orange font really standing out, drawing attention towards it.
4. This is an advert for the Babyshambles live tour DVD and CD. Again it is kept simple, but the contents of the poster isn’t as eye catching, but this is done purposely to maintain the vintage look to the advert. Main Design Features: Red, old, worn creased, vintage border, expensive looking card
5. This magazine advert is quite complex and looks asif a lot of time has been spent creating it. The image has been edited to create a dark and gloomy feel to it, reflecting the single there advertising. The font of the title of the band is the same on all of their albums, singles, posters and so on. It acts as a logo for the band that fans can recognise easily. This is an idea we may choose to incorporate for De Shamonix.
6. Design Features: Design Vector foliage, honey comb texture, greens, white, horizontal text I particuarly like the horizontal text on this advert as it differentiates it from other adverts. A noticeable feature on all of the magazine ad’s is the record label logo’s somewhere on there. This will give our advert a more authentic look.
7. Design Features: Grunge paint splatters, multicoloured, justified text This is a poster for Radiohead’s gigs rather then an album, but it is still relevant to our research. The use of different colours for each venue on the tour is very good as it clearly separates each venue to the fans.
