2. Initial Reaction
I'm quite excited to start this project as there is many different
possibilities and can explore different ways to make my
audience change their views on characters and their emotions
towards what is happening in the scene.
I think I am quite good at handling cameras and choosing the
right shots that would fit the scenario. I feel I am quite talented
at editing in sound effects to fit what is happening in the scene
to help convey the message of the film.
I think that having a film with a plot twist in would be a good
idea as I find they are the most interesting films as it keeps the
viewer guessing what will happen and also keeps engaged in the
film as they will want to find out what happens and also will be
shocked by the out-come of the film, which they will be
entertaining for them.

6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
 I have noticed there is a lot of black in the pictures I have collected as in
thriller films there is always something bad happening and black
connotates danger and death.
 There are lots of masked identities which means people do not want
anyone to know who they are. This adds mystery to the images and films
as the viewer want to know who they're watching, this is a classic
example of thriller images as the viewer is left in the dark and
wondering what will happen next.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
 My mood board is going to influence me as I will have people that are
trying to hide their identities as they will be doing something illegal and
not want to be caught.
 I will have weapons in my films as they will be used to scare people and
get them to do what they want.

7. Potential research targets
 I will need to produce a survey to see what my target
audience like to see in thriller films and in general.
 I will need to research gun replicas I can get for the film. Also
I will need to find a briefcase as the brother will need
something to hold the money in.
 I will need to find a location to make it look like that’s where
they're holding the girl hostage.
 I will watch pre-existing films to get inspiration from them
and better my film.
 I will have research what colours express what connotations
as I will have my cast wear the colours they should be
correctly connotated with.
