2. This product is related to my idea is because the show
is based on fantasy and two main characters trying to
save that part of the place occasionally with the help
of their friends.
The context of this product is two best friends trying
to save the world every day. Now each episode is
completely different in situation but alsways as if it's
come from the last. The styles of the characters are on
their personality and style of their personality
comfrom their looks instead like cinnamon bun. The
content in a whole is entertaining as every time the
pair talk there is mostly comedy or stupidity
during situations, but they always seem to win.
Im looking at this program as it very similar to my
idea, with the fantasy like theme and the portals and
magic. I am using this so I can learn the easiest way to
show case my characters, so they look as real as
possible and not like my factual project characters.
This will affect the accuracy and detail of the
charcaters outcome and will help with the main
aspect of movemnent.
3. This product is related to my idea is because the
song has the contraversy of being a man or a
muppet .
The context of this song is to show that even if he
is a muppet, he's able to do anything he
wants. The style of the song is quite simple a
muppet version of ed sheeran is living life and the
real ed sheeran is in a hipnotizing whirlpool, the
content is similar also.
Im looking at this song as the muppet is usful for
facial feature recognistion. I am using this so I can
learn the easiest way to show case my characters
facial features and emotions , so they look as real
as possible and not like my factual project
characters that had no emotions and kinda just
looked creepy.
This will affect the accuracy and detail of the
charcaters outcome and will help with the main
aspect of facial movements.
4. This product is related to my idea is because the song
uses animation shots as well as using stop animation
shots to make it more fluent.
The context of the music video shows a female wolf
getting everyone's attention so they can enjoy the song
and party. The styles of the characters are vibrant and
look like if it was created into a series, they would have
great personality. The content is entertaining and to
people who have seen it have also been entertained by
the video. The techniques are quite good I've looked at
it in slow motion to see the points and the different
positions of the movements to see the transitions.
I'm looking at this as I wanted to use it for movements
as I can see the different images as they change
movements which is helpful to make it flow more.
This will affect my accuracy I hope as my last animation
was quite stiff and im hoping I can make it fluent and
flow.
5. This product is related to my idea is because this type
of show is based on different aspects this involves
portals, curses, magic the whole shabang.
The context of the show could be about anything for
example it could be about a lost princess who defeats
an evil person to access her true self. The styles of
each character are unique and similar it's like a varied
plalet of colour and style given to the creator. The
content of the show depends on the creator if we are
looking at mixed worlds and time, they use portals or
some sort of door. The technique is quite simple it's
just screenshots being used but it kinda looks real.
Im looking at this for idea use as if I continue the
series further on, I can use ideas that ive seen to add
on to my original idea.
This will affect my ideas and maybe my perspective on
charcater ideas and designs.
6. This product is related to my idea is because I can
look at the animation for specific features to give it
realer looks.
The context is about a boy refusing to go outside to
play, and his mother is trying everything possible.
The style is quite realistic but still looks like a cartoon.
The content is funny in a way but it's quite simple
and yet entertaining. The technique is fluent and not
screenshots but another form of 3d animation.
Im looking at at this as I want to view different
aspects of animation types and the different
movements so if I draw this in a sketchbook to then
scan and colour on computer when I have the access
to one at college.
This will affect my knowledge and understanding of
certain movemnts, facial features and aspects to help
it flow through the actual animation.
7. This product is related to my idea is because this type of
show is based on different aspects that involves two best
friends who have oposite but similar mindsets of
intelligence.
The context theres quite a few different versions of wallace
or gromit the ones I have seen have well and truly funny
context on how they talk it's like wallace is unconciously
thinking he can understand what gromit is saying but it ends
as a one-man joke that he says. The styles of the characters
are made of plasticine as that’s the traditional aardman way,
it's quite funny the way the show case their facial features.
The content of these films is wallace creating new gadgets
and gromit making sure they are perfected or are at least
safe for them to use. The technique is quite complex with
the making of the characters and the set and the changing
facial features, it's an incredable skill to have.
Im looking at this as a different medium of animation and im
also looking at how they managed to make it seem so fluent.
This will affect my knowlegde and understanding of how Im
able to complete this project also future projects.
9. During my research I have looked at different videos for inspiration and ideas for how I can go
to creating my project. Throughout my research I have mentioned it to do with the motion
movements, accuracy and facial features, what I mean by this is that my project involves me
using strategic movements and facial features to make it look fluent enough. As I am drawing
the animation by hand and scanning the images in to then colour over it and make it fun and
colourful. I think if I do it this way like shows such as my hero academia, attack on titans (
these are both anime ). Ive looked at these products and they have specific colour pallets
some have bright colours, some have darker colours. using this I can create an animation that
attracts the eye of my intended audience.
Using these videos to do my research I'm able to create ideas and a story based on my
original plan. As I look at specific video's I am aware of the time it probably takes to create a
finished full set of designs and over views for the task, so I am not expecting my animation to
perfect.

Editor's Notes
Context affects what is produced, how it is produced and who can produce it.
Technology is part of the context. Early fanzines were hand made because there was no InDesign or Photoshop. Web-series simply didn’t existing because the web didn’t exist.
People who don’t have access to jobs in mainstream media, to become journalists or editors, might produce work independently of that system.
People who don’t see themselves or their interests being represented in main stream media, might produce something that represents them or their social group.
The political situation will influence what someone decides to make. The cultural situation will influence what people make.
Every media text is a product of its environment, just like people.
Style: The way in which something is said, done, expressed, or performed. The combination of distinctive features of literary or artistic expression, execution, or performance
characterizing a particular person, group, school, or era.
For example, a podcast could be two people talking, it could be interviews and a voice over, it could just be a recording of a teaching session… how it is done, is the style.
Techniques:
How are these things being made? What methods are being used? Find out and also use your own experience. For example, is a fanzine being hand written or word processed? How do people making a web series set up their shooting spaces? The more you can find out about technique, the more you can get ideas for your own work.
Content:
The material, including text and images, that constitutes a publication or document.
What is actually in this product? Break it down. Is it interviews, monologues, reviews, instructions… Identify the different types of content in the items you research, to help your own ideas.
