1. Introduction to Artist profile - Boybalance
The cover stars to my magazine are a boy band called Boybalance, there are three
members to this band who are matthew ollie and raf. This boy band formed four years ago
and have released over 7 UK number ones in the pop genre. They set up regular meet and
greets for their fans in all countries when they travel around. The band have been so popular
around the globe that they are releasing a world tour next year across Europe, and America.
Since they have been kids, they all dreamed of a life on a music stage and the glamorous
life of being a pop star. Boybalance got their breakthrough when singing in a local bar at the
age of 16 where a music agent saw them performing and offered them a contract, they were
an instant success. The members of boy balance now are all 20 and have been living a
luxurious life for the last 4 years. All the members of Boybalance love to listen to pop music
and play sports such as football, tennis rugby. All members of Boybalance are currently
single which attracts the target audience to try and meet them in hope they are able to
change that. Boyblance love to eat fast food and love to be active and out doing things, they
hate when the weather is bad and they are not able to explore outside. The members of the
band also enjoy time on their phones so they can see what is going on in other celebrities
lives. They also spend this time texting their friends, Raf and Ollie love quick texting and
hate when people take long to reply to their texts.
As you can see, my music band dress in the same style of clothing one direction do who are
also a famous pop band. They are also smiling to the camera which is used to attract the
target audience when on the magazine. The smile also enhances their personality as they
are enjoying life. They body language used is similar as they are both trying to look cool for
the camera, this is convention of pop magazines as this attracts the buyer of the magazine.
The clothing used is the same as they are all in hoodies and jeans with T-shirts underneath,
this is used to make them appear cool to their fans.
All members of boy balance are nice boys who strive to achieve in all areas of life, they feel
they do not want to look back when they are older and regret not doing things that would
have made them happy. They grew up in london all playing sports such as rugby football

2. tennis and cricket at high levels. They began singing at school where they are all friends and
the school needed a last minute boy band to perform in the production. After being told on
the night how good they were at singing, they decided to apply to sing at the local bars and
community hall for events. As previously stated, Boybalance have achieved over 7 Uk
number ones which is a standing record and many more across the rest of the world. Their
all have individual idols who are pop artists such as Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and Sam
Smith. They all hope to achieve much more in their music career with their main inspiration
coming from the Black Eyed Peas as an inspirational band who sung some pop songs as
well as One Direction.
