This document summarizes a study analyzing the wind and seismic loads on an elevated water tank using STAAD.Pro software. The study models an Intze type elevated water tank with specified dimensions. It applies dead loads, live loads, wind loads based on the basic wind speed for the area, and earthquake loads based on the seismic zone. It then performs both response spectrum analysis and time history analysis in STAAD.Pro to determine displacements, bending moments, forces and other responses. The response spectrum analysis provides the natural frequencies and periods of the structure and determines the maximum base shear.
