1. Production Reflection

2. Day 1
Today I gathered all my potential images that I might use for
my magazine and experimented using different photos for my
cover, different layouts of my images and text to find the
strongest design.
I collected all my additional clippings like barcodes and logos
etc and played around with colours adding drop shadows to
increase contrast from the background without it looking
messy or blocky. I made sure the shadow was discreet and
faded into the background image so the cover had a smooth
finish and everything looked as natural as possible.

3. Day 2
• Today I finished off my front page. I added
additional text and some final touches, I
didn’twant the page to look too busy so I tried
to limit the amount of text and other images. I
wanted it to look quite professional and high
quality and I feel like less is more when trying
to achieve that.

4. Day 3
• Today I started my double page spread. I chose
all my photos and thought about my layout
and how I could make the most of the space on
the page. I tried to choose photos that I felt
linked together and were imilar in size but also
colours ecause I wanted it to be aesthetically
pleasing

5. Day 4
Today I wrote my article. I focused mainly on
just getting the content down to then lay it
out nicely tomorrow.
I did some research to make sure what I was
writing was true and made sense.
I wanted everything I wrote to be formal but
friendly, informative and easy to understand.

6. Day 5
• Today I finished my writing and checked
my spelling and grammar by putting it in
word and using spell check. Them I copied
it back onto Photoshop and split up my
writing into sections so they fit with the
layout of the page. I then changed the font
and adjusted the size, having some in
larger font so emphasise their importants
and to draw in the reader.
